You have such a good eye for what work's on these old beauties, you picked a good name for your channel. I was so glad to see a video, because I'm down for awhile from having a knee replacement that took over 3 hour's, when the surgeon said it should take 45 minutes. I told the guy i had an MRI back in 2018, and that it showed a cyst in my tibia where i had ACL reconstruction in 09, and a ganglion cyst growing around my tendons. The guy was trying to tell me it was something else, and only took a dang x ray. After surgery, i had no family with me because they're mostly gone, but this Dr. tells me nothing but it was a mess in there. They did blood woork before the surgery, and afterwards, which i have never had them do even after, even when the original work accident that jacked up my whole leg. I wrote all the stuff down, and all the blood counts were below normal, and my white blood count was way above high, but was normal before surgery, that's why they kept me longer and were giving me i.v. antibiotics. I'm saying all this, because always have an advocate with you, and don't let them tell you you don't know your own body, and get a second opinion if they don't listen. I know 4 people right now having to be the Dr. to tell them what the problem is, two of these people almost died. Sorry for goung off on here, but the medical help is garbage no matter where you live, and filled with such bs, it's not just the quality of the junk being made today. G-d bless, and the chicken tryck is getting a new grill so he doesn't feel so violated. Bei g i. Michigan, not looking forward to the snow, come on spring.

Kyle, when you're finished with the chicken truck you ought to drive it by the boneyard you bought it from with a few pictures of what you started off with just to see their reaction.
I like te way the chicken truck is progressing as a custom a lot of Great ideas. That grill once you get the rest of that hood to match is gonna look Killer Kyle. Loves seeing your cats Kyle my poor Duke I had for 18 years passed away last week. I had him and my Dog Chubby in some of my you tube videos. Thanks for the video.
Wow, you guys really got hit with winter. I was still raking leaves yesterday, but it started snowing some pathetic white birdshit type of snow today in Ontario. Hats off to Tom.
As all your other followers, I really appreciate the generosity of Tom and other donors who make your projects and the videos we all enjoy possible. Best wishes.
Chicken truck, chicken puppet.....lots of chicken on Turkey Day! Custom Cadillac Chicken Truck lookin' awesome. Big thanks to Tom and the other guy for the generous donations! Thanksgiving Day indeed. Cheers! 😎👍🛻🏁🏁🦃🐔
Thank you Tom and Silent donator for the taillights / lenses, hardware. I'm sure Kyle is so happy he couldn't sleep. I'm happy for him seeing the final lines of the quarter panel helps settle the mind. I live in Florida, seeing the snow was surprising. 70 / 80' here.
Great work Kyle. I'm a fan of your metal fabrications and sarcasm. But seriously, the pink and teal treatment really started in the 80's. I have a pile of Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines to prove it. As far as saw blade wheels go, I'm a fan of the original Torq Thrust wheels and have them on 3 of my cars.
The Cadillac grill looks good on the Chicken Truck. Getting the tail lights, sure got you out of a jam. It would have been hard to find good ones (if you could) at the salvage yard. You can keep the snow, I haven't gotten any yet down here in my neck of the woods.
You didn't mention it, but the Pontiac hood peak also works well with the hint of a peak in the roof directly above the split windshield. Nice! Always enjoy your sense of humor 🙂
Love the looks of the Caddy grill. I was thinking about the same as your tape/paper idea just before you showed it. Once the bumper is modified to fit it's gonna be the chickens cluck. B.B.B., big, bold, beautiful and in your face. Thanks Tom and un-named donator.
Seems fitting to have Kyle back with the Chicken Truck, on Turkey day. To all you saintly contributors to our efforts on the channel, Thank you so very much, and Happy Clucking. Good to see you again Kyle. Be well.
I was trying to remember where those 50’s Cadillac fins had been used before on a custom truck. And then it struck me. The Cheech & Chong ‘Weed Wagon’!
I was so happy to see the explaining chicken today. You know, some people get the blues when the holidays come around, and I'm one of them. But Carter's Auto Restyling is a definite spirit-lifter! I want to be an ominous donor someday.....
Its yours and you can change your mind every day should that be your wish. We have had a total of one month to the day of snow now and that has to be around two feet of snow here where I live.
You caught me out! I was really enjoying the music on this episode and was going to congratulate you on your choices right up until the “generous dudes and cat” segment at the end there. OK, it was alright, just unexpected. Loved watching you crunch about in the snow, reminded me that here in the U.K. we endured the worst snow storm for about 26 gazillion years recently. At least 3 inches and laid for almost 4 days thanks to those minus 6 degree C temps. We are tough in the north aren’t we? Good vid.
The front end is really starting to come to fruition! Also: A little of Autobody Archaeology on display at the junkyard the other day: Early 50's Chrysler new yorker with some epic screen door and Bondo action on the front of the rear passenger quarter panel down near the wheel. Another great marvel was seeing a INCREDIBLY rusty 73 Olds Delta 88 convertible with at least 1/2" or more of filler that you could break off in large sheets... most notably on the top of the passenger fender and swiss cheesed hood. What a sight!
The Truck is really growing on me. When I saw a couple of the beginning videos I was a doubter - no longer. Boyd Coddington is not my cup of tea, neither is Chip Foose. Let's hear it for Harley Earl. I like this project, should never have doubted you.
