Think Redcat has released some very good products this year. I have the Acent (blue), the Acent Fusion and Acent 18, and love all of them. Have several Treal wheels and other upgrades and have yet to be disappointed. You have picked the perfect wheels for the Fusion IMO, I will order a set for mine ;-) Thanks for the nice video!!

Yes , tires or at least dual stage foams are a must . This thing is far too heavy for what it comes with. I put the Baja pro X on my SCX6, night and day difference !!!

You forgot to mention the Honcho does not have a driver. I am picky about that. Can you get one in there you think?

I also run the Super Swampers with dual stage foams on my SCX6. Love them!

i rarely upgrade anything unless something breaks then i will put something a little better on in it's place, i don't do competition's it's just me so don't see the point, BUT those tyres did make a difference and i love that huge honcho, I'm very jealous 👍👍👍😀😎😎

I had swampers on my honcho but change to proline baja pro x. Absolute beast of a tyre.

Great refreshing vid! I've done all the other methods besides boiling , the next time I need to get some glued tires off I'm using your method. The rainbow wheels look great with those tires!

Those look pretty nice. I notice you don't use thread locker on the screws. I know some people like it and some don't. Personally I just use a little dab of blue as im bad about checking for loose hardware. Just wondering if you have an opinion. Thanks.

Redcat shook the industry with the fusion. The Stance has his place but the 1060 with brushed motor, the lower links that bend easily, made to be upgrade! The Stance is a gotcha newbie now upgrade transmission, links, overdrive, motor mount, trans gear etc. Fusion got it's flaws but at least you got the right motor and links to drive it. Drive shafts, knuckles and tires are not the best but can do the job. I want to build a vrd carbon because of all the appropriate parts in the kit but it won't be cheap and not at everyone reach. If you want something otb I'd say go redcat. If you like to build a truck but need an rtr go vanquish. The Phoenix is not the same as the other two but it's a very nice truck and an excellent crawler.

I have a Vanquish VRD carbon built from a kit, Ascent (not fusion) modded and an Element Ecto modded. Vanquish is my precision rock climber. Ecto and Ascent are the trail trucks. Ascent is probably my favorite.

I think bang for your buck the Redcat is better. I don't personally own a Vanquish rig but I know the stance is very capable out of the box it's mostly the price point for what you get is hard to beat with redcat. I have a hobbywing Fusion pro in my OG ascent and it works great.

My first upgrade is the driveshaft because the plastic one broke, but I look forward to possibly getting these upgrades for my CJ7
