Hello from NE Iowa. This could be included in tools but I think a good soldering station is a must have. It doesn't have to be the most expensive one but should be 60+ watts. I like mine that I can plug in or use a 20V dealt battery.

That is a great suggestion! I agree with you 100% 😊 Thank you for adding to the list

    Great list.
I like my Dx5R too. Just a tad touchy on the scroll wheel. It’s a balance between having fewer radios but still being able to share the fun with multiple RC able to run at the same time.
I also started with that Dynamite kit. It now also houses my 3 primary MIP drivers. I also have a Tamiya set for the pesky JIS builds and an all-in-one set I grabbed from CCxRC for the CarryAll sling bag.
I don’t have a bunch of crawler tires but that head lock tool is cool. I also like the RC Garage but I’m still trying to figure out where I’d put it.
Work mats are very helpful. I have a few bit the CowRC magnetic mats are always in use. The little ones are great to toss in a trail bag in case a repair is needed while out on the trail. I like the radio lanyards with a magnet on the rope to assist if I lose a screw.
One tool I use a lot is my camera. Especially early in the hobby to take a before picture of what I was about to take apart so I could get it back together properly.
Great tips. Have a wonderful weekend.

Yes I agree, a little touchy on the scroll for the DX5R 😂 The garage does take a bit of room but so worth it in my opinion for all the things you can do with it. I have heard great things about the CowRC mats so I may just have to add that to my bench too. And yes 🙌 on the camera. I used to do the same thing just to make sure things fit back together how they should 😂 Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a kind comment 🥰
