I literally just bought the blackjack 24 at my local hobby shop yesterday and they said it was being discontinued Less than 24 hours later, you put this out and my local hobby shop didn’t even know this was coming out 🤯 You are the man for being on top of things thank you. 🙏 But I do have the new one pre-ordered now 😊 Love your channel 👍👍
After checking the manual, removing the screw to lube the bushing is recommended after every 30 min of run time. But still have to use two 10mm wrenches to loosen the collet, remove the flex shaft, wipe it down, let it dry and re-lube after a session
I run abc medium rake 1614, octura x440, strut high and slightly down… more weight n forward cg? Need to keep speed in corner…. But hops on its own wake on glass flat water….seems like it could use a set of ss tabs glued to the transom
I'm hesitant on this because of no self righting, but i might buy this. I was using my first boat the recoil 2 this past weekend. Jet stream boat down the line too
Yes stock you would use two 2s lipos. Any will do as long as they are ec5 connector and as high a c rating as possible. Needs 80+ but over 100 will get better speeds. For high speeds, you’ll need to switch the stock esc for a 6s esc and run it on 6s (twin 3s lipos)
Wonder hows come they didnt include turn fins, like the bigger version?? Or didnt jump on same playing field as the self righting system...whose gunna be the first for the catamaran in the self righting??? Traxxas?? Arrma?? Proboat?..and atleast 6S
Proboat did a lot of "Safe things with the original Black Jack 24. They put all their money in to the engine. Yet cheapened up TX/RX , and went 'Stupid on the ESC. You can't safely run 3 S on a 30 AMP controller - I actually toasted mine, the first day, the boat hit the lake. (Last year) THE boat also came with the Stock Nylon Black Jack 29 prop, which was too much for the Stock ESC. Within a year, I updated to a V2 system, and upped the speed controller a 120 A, and then to a balanced TFL .438 prop, and the boat dialed in. I am also running the ,Spekrum system . AND .. propped . up . On a CNC .440 speed prop, I got 35 Mph. (28-30), with the TFL. THe new Black Jack 24, is a significant improvement, and is able to run 4S. This is where, it sorta doesn't make sense. The original 24, was fast, because it was a light hull. 2.3 pounds. Add a single 5200 3 S battery, and your in the water. Now, you have to pony up for two batteries, with lower voltage, to basically accomplish the same thing? You can UPGRADE the STOCK 24 motor, and get the same results as you would get, with the new Boat. (Single battery) Personally, in my opinion; MY boat gets real unstable at speeds over 30 MPH . I would rather run my dedicated 6 S boat, (Traxas) M41 , and take that up to 50 MPH . Other than, push the the outer limits of the smaller hull. Maybe, just an opinion? We love our speed. I just don't like "THE PADDLE of shame," when I push my boat too hard, and up flipping it.
I did 57 mph with my 36 class yesterday. Loving ProBoat since 2020.
Awesome!!

I’ve had it for a few weeks to test. But… I’m not allowed to let anyone know about it until the release date. 😄

Great driving, really showing what this boat is capable of. BG4L
How did you get it to corner and eliminate the porpoise

Looking good brother! And thanks for the shout out!
Thanks! Hope you don’t mind I sent people to you for the speed testing. I couldn’t find my GNSS lol.
@@rcdriver Not at all! I was just watching yours through and noticed the shout out! Thank you very much!
I share Mrmad420s vids every chance I get!
You turned me on to Chris Hoffmans (Das Boata) props.
Major upgrade to any boat!

My goodness that thing screams!!
I am digging the mounted plug setup! I hope more manufacturers start doing that or providing kits. Traxxas plugs especially are difficult to unplug.
I completely agree! Mounted plugs would be welcomed on everything going forward!
This boat is incredibly stable at speeds, pushing 88mph with mine. One of my favorite Proboat models!
What 4s battery would you recommend?
And can it also self flip?
Or do you just need 2, 2s battery’s?

@@VetteWay2Fast does it come with batteries included, if not that’s pretty expensive
I’ve never had an RC Boat. This looks really nice. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing. Love this channel.
Thanks for watching and the kind words!
They are extremely fun if you can pick one up you should just make sure you do research on the boat!
Looks awesome still need a bigger rc boat.
This is on the 'Must have' list 💯👍
Looking to pick one up. Looks awesome! Love the vid!
Thanks!!
Yeah same
Niceee boat man, keep up the great work man.
Are those decals the black long stripes along the top of the hull on the front is that a two piece decal was wondering?
i want this boat so badly!! 😍

It’s a nice improvement. The old version being 3s with a 30a esc was stupid.

Do you know if the 42 will be upgraded soon? still waiting for my BJ at my local hobbystore. Wasn’t instock in the store.
I don’t know if anything is happening with it. I got a few Oxidean Marine parts to add to mine.
👍 nice boat
Firma 120 drops straight in for that raw 6s powa
😊😊😊😊hello from Estonia
first comment first like second view (1 min after u posted it)!
When you were describing the inside i thought you started speaking another language 😅😅😅ya i never had a boat obviously 😊
Thanks for letting me know. I have a bunch of old videos that describe car terms, but I’ve never done it for a boat. On my to do list it goes!
Scary with no self righting feature. My area has choppy water so this would not work.
👍🏾💯

It's a toy it's still plastic lol guy's buy a real rc boat like bonzi,Enforcer, offshoreelectrics or any other nice real fiberglass or carbon boat....
True ,but boats like this are made for beginners, and people that don’t want to spend to much on a boat.
This boat is also good for smaller ponds. Not sure I would run a gas Enforcer in this location
