The v1 will always be in my fleet. It's just a great boat. But I can't wait to get my v2. This is probably one of my favorite videos you've done. Thanks. Bg4l
Oh you have a fast one as well!! These Black jacks can be made to go super fast! Im a new sub! You are the second video ive seen, you and RDM got the secret to making them go fast!! Now im buying one myself bc of the 2 of you guys!!
I have both the V1 and V2 blackjack 24 now. I like them both but won’t be able to run my v2 till later today. I tested the motor KV on the v2 motor and it tested above 2250kv so it should be a screamer especially on 6s.
Your comparison videos are always welcome. I do believe ProBoat saw what you did with BJV1 and flat out copied it with only limited changes. I’ve said before ProBoat needed to hire you in their research and development department 👍👍👍 I’m so tempted to drop the green on the V2 since I’ve made so many changes to the original it’s a little worn out, I have a crack in the hatch in the same place you do. BGFL
I spoke with Ryan, the designer, a couple of times during the design phase of this boat I've known about this release for like 2 years now. I wish I had the computer skills to get a design job with proboat, but everything is done in 3d cad, which I have very limited skills with. 😕
Big B, nice comparison of the two BJ24’s , do you think 🤔 that trim tabs might be needed in the future ? Bummer about hitting the floating target 🎯 it happens I crash 💥 landed my helicopter 🚁 last weekend so it’s back to the Mavic Mini drone until the new servos get here. Perhaps the hole 🕳 in the hull could be elongated to allow for the “special bending” of the stuffing tube ?
I'm running mine on 4s. Twin 2s 5800 mah get about 15 solid runtime. And low voltage detection gets you back to shore. I ran to 5000 mah but the 5800 is where it's at.
So far I’m not very impressed with mine. It handles like crap compared to my v1. Gonna mess with it some more tomorrow but so far it likes to blow over like the bj42 and it hops all over when turning. I think that’s because of the way the stuffing box is designed and that same stuffing box is letting the boat fill with water.

YEESSS!!! I've been wanting to see the comparison!!
Great comparison video. They made a lot of great changes
thats some quality content right there. from Alberta Canada❤❤❤❤❤
I'm glad you laugh at that, I'd probably be pissed!!
Cool stuff, man. I've been working on my boat faithfully.
you can repair the BJ 24 with G-flex 650 works perfect ,this stuff stick to everyting
Fast greetings. From the Netherlands 🤛🏻
Looks like all the up coming new models will be greatly improved. Minimum to no modes needed like past models.
We shall see, one can Only hope!
Just bought thev2 hull and hardware cost more then ready to run but I enjoy the build as much as driving them anyway peace.
Now your v1 has blunt sponsons like the v2! That tree didnt move much. Great comparison, thanks

I can certainly see some Big B in the new one. GOOD JOB !!!
You get to order the whole boat now LOL!
Yep, I just got a new hull and hatch in , build coming soon
Oh man your kids as young as mine! Not easy to work on the boats with my 1 and 2 year old haha!
Try yanking out the teflon and pack the grease. You might pick up more mph. No bend in stuffing tube makes water come in easy.
Saya pernah punya yang merah namun tidak di update😊
Would like to see this comparative done between the v1 and v2 recoil 26".
Wish I had a v2 I'd definitely do it

I don't think it needs trim tabs
Is it really a 90A ESC & not a 60A what they advertise online??
90a as far as I know
It says 90a on horizon website
@@_beastmode_rc on proboat website they have 60A listed on their spare parts page.

I like them both but the v2 is a copy of Bigbs V1. Definitely a great boat out of the box. Well done to proboat.
What mm is the nut that holds the prop? An you said turn the dual rate down to 30? So it doesn't flip full throttle?
3/16 prop nut, and yeah trim back the dual rate
Dam , sorry Brother. I wreck all my planes lol .
For only $30 more, the V2 is 10x the boat. I couldn't ever get behind the V1, the V2 is going to be a great boat.

Good to know I will just upgrade my v1
