Okay, a plastic impeller? Didn't expect that in this price range.
Thanks for the great videos.
Appreciate your hard work BiG B. U da man
I appreciate that
Verry Ni e important video thx 👍🏻👍🏻
Dang Dawg!, that foam to keep the grease in is brilliant!!
I like a close fit, and trying to jam the tip of my pinky to achieve that result. Going foam from now on!😊👌👍🤙
I use the foam every time I grease a boat it's so convenient, saves time, and isless messy. Thanks for Watching BG4L
Nice jet boat sounds really smooth and you have some great ideas for the jet stream I have got a 3D-printed jet boat and it does not sound as nice as the jet stream might buy 1
Awesome video and so helpful sill waiting for mine to turn up but have both Impeller and Intake upgrade on order with it, though still torn over colour as will have the choice, hopefully
Glad I could help!
I finally was able the get one of these and it's showing up tomorrow but I held out for the mojo. I ordered the up graded prop and metal grate. I got them last week. It's a nice stainless impeller.
Let's Go. You're gonna love it
Nice ❤❤❤
Many many thanks BG4L
Thankyou so much
I bought all the parts to build my own shreddy boat. That shaft tube has bronze bearings at each end of the brass tubing. Wish I would have this video first!! Good job Buddy!!!
Good luck with the build. Fun boat for sure!
@@IRONCLADRC Thanks Iron!! I love your videos... keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪
Someone send this man a thrasher jet boat so we can get a good comparison
I’m thinking about sending myself one. I think it would blow the Proboat out of the water.
@@Motorboatinsonbitch I bet Scott the owner would send 1
Those thrasher jet boats look sweet, I especially like how they made the motor shaft xxL long doubling as the impeller shaft. 👍
@@IRONCLADRC holla at Scott the owner he's a great dude
@@IRONCLADRCyea it's cool till you can't find any different motors
Picked up a 120a esc for now too and I want to try 5 and 6s. 6s may be to much for the pump to be efficient for a jet boat but we'll see.
Just got my special 3s twins in the mail for 6s operation! Let's go
Great video. Do you know if the roof can take it out
It can be removed, I'm fairly certain, you'll need to fill holes left in the hull somehow
I just took mine apart and I rewatched this and if you look at the water pickup. In the beginning of you vid I didn't see the dot. And on mine the dot is facing the transom. You put it back in the opposite way.
It's in the right way, trust me I even made a point to show and remind my viewers
@IRONCLADRC in your video you can't see the dot if you pause it. And I didn't take mine apart and the dot was facing the back side. And my cooling system works fine. Water outlet shoots a 5ft rooster tail. So I installed it back the way it was. There's nothing about how to install it so I'm going to leave it how the factory put it.
@@ralphhondamanI was just wondering this too, received mine yesterday and watched this video. My Dot is facing upwards to the sky, same as his at the start of the video but at the end installs it facing the rear. Surely it’s not wrong from the factory?
Man, that jet drive looks super similar to the older river jet drive system... I wonder if the parts are interchangeable...
Love my river jet!!
There is a crap ton of mods we did with the older drive on the river jet. One being a grease port mod. It's so similar, I bet they would all work on this as well
You think a boat like this could handle a tp 4080?
Tppower 4030 or 4040 would be a better choice. 4080 is a lot of motor that needs a lot of power
@IRONCLADRC I have a 4080 just laying around (meant to order a 5690) and I also have a jet Hull that could fit just barely the 4080 with a cooling jacket. But as I have it I might just give it a shot, although my hull is a little smaller
A good intake grate will keep you hooked up in the chop cavitation is not your friend I hope you find a nice polished sharpened, bigger pitch impeller I think that engineer hates mechanics. Why couldn’t he put a grease fitting l like the tugboat
Once you get her, humming, you might have to make a set of sponsons
She's gonna be humming here shortly c'mon
Seems like a lot to grease her up, it is what it is.part of the fun. Peace
I was thinking the same
It is alot. That's why you should drill and tap the shaft housing.(remove shaft first, for maybe the last time!) Put a set screw in to plug the hole. I used 6/32. You'll also need the marine grease and pumper. They should come this way from Pro Boat!
What’s the difference between the plastic impeller and the metal one
Material that's it I believe one is cnc and the other is plastic
@@IRONCLADRC like what’s the performance difference
I have a total different question. I need glue to fix a break in the plastic by the jet and what glue that I can just buy at a store would you recommend to fix this? super glue doesn’t work
