You should check out the Vanquish VRD Stance out too. These are the two best RTR out there. Vanquish has more options for it in the aftermarket too if you wanna turn it into a custom build.

He purchased the Stance and I purchased the Redcat and then the next Fridays video (5/17) We put them head to head to see how they compete next to each other 😊 I have to agree with you, the Vanquish VRD Stance is absolutely amazing as well. I don't think anyone can go wrong with either truck.
@@RCprincess24 that's awesome, my friends and I did the same type of thing. They got the redcat and I got the stance, both can crawl some epic lines, especially once you do a little bit of tuning and upgrades to them. My stance currently is my most capable crawler. I did a lot to it though
They are both super amazing I will agree! 🥳 The redcat ascent fusion is my most capable crawler at the moment. The stance will be upgraded in the near future, but we wanted to keep both trucks stock for the comparison video. They are crazy capable!
My favorite Redcat is the Danchee Ridgerock. For price ($111 on sale) to performance you can't beat that vehicle! add 2 better servos, cut the belly out and move the outter links up to where the inner links are and move the electronics around for weight, and put a Masterlock on the front steering servo along with wheels and tires and you have a Really Good Crawler for less than $200...... For MOA and 4WS... I own the Redcat RDS, Accent18, Danchee Ridgerock
It looks like it handled everything out there without a second thought. I do like the truck but it looks unfinished. It really needs a little bit of cage or something in the back half to make it look right for me personally. I am sure someone is going to come out out with a small injection molded cage to bolt right on and make it look right. I have the old school Gen 8 and have had a lot of fun with it and I have the new Ascent18 and that little guy very impressive, especially for the price! I am glad you are enjoying the new truck and it preformed really well.
I see what you're saying for sure! As much traction as this truck is getting I'm sure someone will get some mods and things out for in no time. It really is an amazing crawler and I have a hard time picking between that and my phoenix now when I go out 😂

Okay, it goes a little something like this. I am a traxxas fan boy, first and foremost! Maybe not so much for the company. But for sure the traxxas TRX-4 lineup!! I am the guy that brings the traxxas sport to anything and everything that is scale trail to insane rock crawling. I have never owned a Redcat anything! And after watching my son drive the Redcat Ascent Fusion rtr, I bought 3 of them! Out of the box is very impressive performance!!! Especially when you compare it to a TRX-4 sport! There's really nothing to compare!! The Cat as a dedicated rock crawler just blows the doors off the scale trail running sport. Note: your traxxas spur gears will work on the Ascent Fusion, but the gearing is very limited! 23-45 fits and is a lot of overkill. Unless ur running scale trail lines with it.
