I can't seem to get an answer as to why from anyone I asked, just that they are. Something about they aren't available to everyone but I've not had any troubles getting any sets so I'm not 100% sure.
They are banned according to SORCA rules. The reason is SORCA rules now only allow scale versions of 1.1 tires. So BFG's, Nitto's, Mickey Thompson's, ECT are allowed.

Have the Megalithics on my Fusion. I have tried several different tires and the truck and the Megalithics outperformed all the others
