Need lexan scissors on that body. Every running video of the redcat I’ve watched across the u tubes has angry lexan noises. Love your content 👍keep it coming
I couldn't agree more about Element. They are totally missing the boat at the moment. You have to keep rolling out new and exciting products to stay relevant in the RC crawler space. People will quickly forget and move on. Bushido Carbon maybe 🤔........😂
I love watching your videos, I’m particular on who I can (tolerate) watch people drive. But you, I love how you explain your moves and I like your driving style. Smart, you make a good teacher. Sensei Logan WDW!
Another very educational video Logan! Thanks for the demonstrations. Living in Canada, looking forward to your stickers sometime soon. Got the WDW tee shirt, just need the decals on my rigs now. THX
I took a redcat gen 7, and went absolutely nuts. Running capra axles, Vader plate, axial transmission, holmes team spec revolver, brass all under it, and megalithics. Things a monster I love that it's my build, my truck, my way.
Im so glad you brought it out again. I will definitely be getting one when they are back in stock. I'll remember to use your affiliate link. Great run Logan!
Nice! I looks the holds especially once they’re well rounded. The more worn the better as with most tires. But the bounce from 3D printed foams is why I’m not a big fan of them. They react very quickly even though sidehilll is great. An example is at 11:23 when they got loaded up and the rebound of the foam just kicked you off so quickly.
So yeah check out ummagrip sticky tape. It's goes under lipos to hold them in place and then you put your strap around. You will love it trust me bro. Can cut it and when it loses its stickiness You can wipe it with a damp cloth to make it like new again. A tip from fpv guy 😉💯🤜
Still not interested in showing us 1/18 RC crawlers ? 😇 Some are really good, now. But no youtubers run them on such a nice rocky spot as yours. Nice video. Always a pleasure to watch a "WDW Entertainment Company" movie. 😉
Stellar vid of a very capable Fusion ..I'm really surprised the servo handled that stress..wow! Thanks much and I was wondering do you do any videoagraphy of 1:1 crawlers? Peace bro 🤙
Took my ascent out to red rocks and had a blast. Seen alot of folks do a revolver on the ascent make it true 4-link and SOA. For those wondering how to make this platform a little better.
I think the biggest killer of this rigs front axle is the shock placement. Put the shock down on the extra link hole and angling it further on the DSM chassis made a big difference on my wife's Ascent.
Anyone who doesnt have the time or knowledge of how to work on these truck's, wouldnt know the difference between a brushed or brushless a good or great crawler. So it makes sense that Vanquish or no other company would sell a rtr loaded to the max with every option including fusion and added weight. Redcat knocked this out of the park at every angle, cost, production and performance..
I was thinking & have been thinking why Element doesn’t have a LCG rig I had said they would be the one to step up but I haven’t really wanted any of their new releases because the chassis is the same maybe longer or shorter I love the new Night or trail Knight but I have a few Elements & I just bought the body to put it on one of them so ya you are correct about Element. I think the entire newer lineup of RC’s they have is kind of the same old thing or kind of odd. But I love Element rigs like the HD & Ecto are very good. I have both. Redcat is on the move so other companies have to take notice & step up or fall behind.
Another great video Logan, thanks man! Next time you could take along a brush to dust off those rocks before making the video. (I won't tell anyone, promise) 😉😁
I've heard a lot of people say stuff about them the hold Tire I like them a lot but you know I do run smaller scale stuff but it's the same exact tire you know
I absolutely love love love working on them.. right now I love building more than anything but its the money thats sucks.. I just can't afford a build ever 2 or 3 months
Hey WDW can you fit 2.2 Mickey Thompson tires on the fusion my tires size is 5.88 because I had these ties sitting around this video was awesome. Thank you.😊
I'm quite impressed with that truck in this video. Awesome display of its performance. I almost picked one up last week from a local shop, but I ended up grabbing a SCX10 iii Base Camp. If I had watched this video first, I would've got this instead. Love the content. Keep it up.
I feel like it would do better with 4.19 tires since it's portals. Also the red cat portals get much more turning with a little grinding just like you can do with Capra axles.
Yes I would love to buy redcat again if they would seriously figure out the front end issues. Also that would cause others to build proper axles their two piece pinion is not it. So while brass and electrical does not make the heart of the crawler it masks the issues. Same issues I have with my scx10iii bronco and capra. Big coin put into them and they run better. But the heart of the there mechanicals is good. Trx4 7-8 yrs old, but you can’t beat their engineering and geometry it’s seriously good. I have them all and for vanquish buy the kit. Their rtr is running powdered ring and pinion gears etc. but they have their math figured out. This does offer another option I don’t like how the industry hobby has taken away kits and plopped more rtr’s “ready to Replace” cheers enjoyed the video.
Once Redcat has grown big enough they can hire guys from other competitor companies...just like in mountain bike companies and even F1 technical director personnel change tp different teams.
Not sure why the manufactures are limiting themselves to a perceived maximum price for a RTR. Even as a newbie to crawlers, I know enough from being in other aspects of the hobby that all of the RTRs were going to need upgrades. Would have rather paid for quality stuff right off the bat. Instead I went with the carbon vrd kit as my very first RC that doesn’t fly.
Redcat has oversized punkins and the whole front end geometry is just wrong that's whey it has so much torque twist in my opinion. Vanquish vrd kit is a much better value for your hard earned money in my opinion.
@@westdesertwheeler compared to the VRD it’s not. For $70.00 You get shitty RTR electronics. You get a body. You get tires/wheels/foams. What don’t you get? Carbon fiber chassis. Hard anodized shock bodies, hardened and lightened gears, proper links, etc…. That’s serious money! If you add it to the Stance, Your Stance is now closer to what, $800.00? The Stance body. That’s pretty cool. The tires are not great. The wheels are placeholders. The foams…can they be used in other tires seeing as the VXT’s are so tall? The Stance performs pretty good. But for the money. You are waaaaay better off to get the Carbon. Just my 2¢.
If the Stance had a Fusion, I would be more interested. Too much money spent just to ditch the ugly body nd electronics. This body, just as ugly. How I wish both were offered as rollers without the body and electronics. Not a kit, not an RTR, but a fine medium level.

I think the bushido is a miss. Don’t know anyone stoked on that
The tinkering and changing things to try out is my favorite part!
Redcat climbing the crawler food chain

so? What is "Redcat" on it now?🙄
You 100% explained me and my friends who have these for camp trips... just want to charge and drive
Im so glad you brought it out again. I will definitely be getting one when they are back in stock. I'll remember to use your affiliate link. Great run Logan!
Glad you enjoyed it! It will show up again no doubt
I really enjoyed this video. It gave me some new ways to look at lines. I've only had my fusion for about a week. Nice job!
impaitently waiting for mine to get through pre order ;-;
great vid!!!!!
Great video! Love to see it pull those sick lines!
Thanks!

I sure do, I have a full size crawling playlist on my channel with lots of buggy content
Looked great crawling for just changing tires and rims 👌

Who makes a servo on axle for the Redcat?

I believe 1tenth.c** makes a SOA mount for Redcat.

My local hobby shop had one, so I grabbed it.

Element hasn’t had a real new release basically since the gatekeeper. And that was one of their first
I like how you took a truck and put wheels/tires/foams on it that are worth more than the truck. 🤘🏻😬🤘🏻
Lol well… it’s what I had available and I love my Spec RCs
@@westdesertwheeler I have a couple sets and they are awesome so I don’t blame you.
An Element version of a comp truck would be great; that being said the IFS2 looks wicked on my gatekeeper

Enjoyed the reviews on this truck. Thanks for posting. Also when can we expect to see your 1:1 buggy. Ive been patiently waiting for that one

First! Awesome vid, I love seeing this thing get put through its paces!
Thanks!
My area is primarily Sand Stone, do you have a good recommendation on a set of tires to tackle the sandstone?
Do you have a build channel? Would love to see you go through some of your rigs! They seem so capable!
I post them on this channel. I post those videos as build breakdowns I don’t have a ton but there are multiple
Those tires are gold in that environment 🤩 Do you have experience with the RC4WD Genius Sem Fronteira ?
I absolutely love love love working on them.. right now I love building more than anything but its the money thats sucks..
I just can't afford a build ever 2 or 3 months
Want to add rear link riser. But back aluminum brace will not allow.
And A.
Do you have any suggestions?
It seems like there are plenty of braces back there. Could try removing the one it hits, see if it still feels sturdy.
I’ve never bought in to the crazy link riser game. Tried a few and didn’t notice much. The one I had actually got worse in the top position
Listening to them getting it in the background. Lol

Redcat is doing a great job. The lines you pick are just awesome. Question: Who does your stickers. Stay safe
I use sticker app and design them myself
@westdesertwheeler2666 thinking about doing some of my own stickers was just wondering what company you use. I do have a WDW sticker on my Capra.

I like to build and mess with things. The carbon kit is my next build, I have everything ready for it besides the cash.
Carbon kit is excellent
Do you just sell the steering servo bracket that you're sucked down wench lines ties to?
You should combine your Velcro with their strap.

Any plans on trying to put rear steer on the Ascent?
You know that would be pretty cool
Gimme a 4-link/SOA Ascent Fusion and I’m sold 👌
That would be cool. I think they’re gonna need a refreshed axle design
I want some of the holds. They look like cut boggers.
Definitely what they were going for
Reasons my 85 4runner is getting a full exo before I hit the rocks with it
