Just wanted to let you know i enjoy your content. This is one your best videos. This video was my favorite of all the release videos for the optic kit.
Dude! Logan that was a great instructional video. You have the right demeanor and the right voice and the right technique for these videos. excellent job sir
Great job of editing. You did not drag your viewers through some of the more repetitive processes, simply showed results. Many good tips on this build. Informative and helpful. Build videos like this are beneficial. I was on the fence on the Optic but now I have to have one. Thanks
lol I used some petroleum jelly once when I didn’t think I had a better grease laying around. So far I haven’t had a leaky shock and I’ve never looked back. 🏁🤙🏼
I recently purchased some "specialty" tools on Amazon, mainly because I wanted them, I got t a bearing remover/installer for pushing bearing into knuckles and other parts, the pinion gear puller has come in handy too, buying used trucks with stripped pinion hardware the 9.00 i spent was worth it, and my e-clip tool what a life saver, I occasionally use it in the full size world too on random large ones so I bought 2. I also have a tool buying habit 😂 so if I can "justify" buying it even if it's just to use it one or two times I'm buying it.
Dude ur cut n shutin the Aztek! Cant wait for them to go on site! And an fyi, Treal makes a pretty nice H10 housing. Just got mine yesterday. Other than the machining marks they’re right on point!
Whats your thoughts on using the Colorado Adventure designs part for front and rear dig but with a drag axle? Or locking front wheels only worth it on 4WS?
@westdesertwheeler Looking forward to watching how you develop this truck! I have a spare VFD twin with the CAC front lockout which I have been eyeing up an Optic to use in. Sounds like a 4WS Optic with these bits is the way to go! Strange how the fuel cell needed way more clearancing to run a rear servo, I thought they'd designed it all with this in mind. At least it's only an aesthetic part to Dremel out.
I would 1000% put my chinese titanium tools against those anyday, had a set of mip and ended up snapping a couple tips off, these chinese tools have held up 3 times as long now and are still perfect no stripping and the fit is just as good as mip.
Personally I’ve only ever broken 1 MIP driver and that was my fault.. used it as a lever 🤦♂️ Broken loads of other brands though and MIP have held their shape a lot longer. But if it the Chinese ones are working for you, well, that’s awesome 😃👍👍
I've had a set of Dynamite drivers since 2011 and I've never broke one or stripped a screw. The tips have also never worn a bit, damn things are hard as a coffin nail.

Vanquish has the strongest tips in the industry.

Thanks, it’s hard to find the line of showing how it’s done and not being boring. Glad you enjoyed it
Thumbs up on the build video. I am new to this so this video helps a lot.
Great video, and I agree tools are definitely worth the expense!!! Can never have enough tools 💯
I put f10 4ws on an optic like 5 months ago, its by far my favorite rig at the moment

Yes love it
Enjoyed your build video
I like build videos good job
I like the larger handles on mip plus 12 yrs and haven't had a tip go bad.
If you get 126mm links for the rear upper and mount them to the outside of the skid like the front is it’ll stop the binding
Whats your thoughts on using the Colorado Adventure designs part for front and rear dig but with a drag axle? Or locking front wheels only worth it on 4WS?
It is much more useful with rear steer

Titanium China tools have been perfect for me.. still going.
I strip way less screws with mip

@ have a set too but still prefer MIP, the dynamite ones must be close to 20’years old now. 😳
Any chance you have a suck down winch mount left for the capra??
Where did you manage to find a PSC decal? I've been searching since the optic first released...
Freqeskinz wraps came with a pair of
@westdesertwheeler thanks! They have a scale accessory sheet that has em too! Perfect!
Do you know if livery’s will be available separately?
I am sure of it.

TGH has one. eBay has em for much cheaper.
Park tools sell a oring pliers for small bikes.
Interesting good to know
Root beer instead of PBR huh? 😅
Hah! Muncho's!
Kinda overpriced imo. Phoenix is way more value than this kit
