      Indeed it is. I still use it as my go to base whenever I play the game. Next time I do hop on State Of Decay, I'll have to figure out how I'll do a walkthrough of Lifeline. May need to do some research before that and not sure when I'll get around to it but its on the to do list. Currently backlogged with Fortnite Save The World content I need to do for a subreddit so the community can have the right information. Then I've gotta do One Piece Odyssey, which should be a nice break. After that, State Of Decay Lifeline is next on the content list I made. These 3 huge tasks have got to be done before I move on to other stuff. I have my priority content set.

    One of the greatest bases in the game, also funny how we have a similar setup to our facilities
    Personally I put the library inside of the building and then probably converte it into a dinning area if I feel like I don't need it anymore, on the left 2 open slots I put a Medical & Kitchen, and on the right side of the 2 open slots I put a dojo and a munitions workshop

I mean I understand its supposed to lessen discord but from my experience the AI bickers anyway. Also, why a dojo? I never bothered using that thing. Does it do anything special? My base is setup so you can walk away for 3 years and come back and everyone is still alive LOL

Honestly, I think they ruined 2. The storyline was butchered (I'll never understand why they went back into Trumbull valley, or why they got rid of core characters from the first game. The reason why I did not even play State Of Decay 2 was because they did not follow their canon storyline. In the first game, you struggle the entire time to get out of Trumbull Valley. In the second game, they sent you back into it. It did not make sense and it sent the series in the wrong direction. Unless they can make amends and fix all of their mistakes with 3, I fear they have ruined their own game series.

    This helps alot thank you!! I just started getting back into this game. I have a question, the requirments for the warehouse also says "12 survivors" so does that mean i need to have 12 people at the church before moving? Or can I move with something like 8 people.

    • @crazedmaniac6679
      @crazedmaniac6679  7 месяцев назад +1

      That's correct. You need 12 survivors and also must meet the building materials requirement to relocate. I'd suggest having more than what you need before you move to snyder trucking as you will need to build and upgrade facilities and also scavenge resources and setup outposts. Also be sure to call in for radio support so lily can help you find good survivors and pay attention to what they are and what they do, also don't ever take the cops from the courthouse, they suck. Definitely need 12 people, use this guide video and the playlist for the entire game walkthrough. It should help you out a lot and it's well done and edited. As for the Church upgrades, all you need to do is upgrade to an infirmary, then make a basic workshop, then upgrade the basic workshop to a workshop. Once that is done, construct a storage area and if you want you can upgrade that again you can but DO NOT do the 3rd for refrigerated storage. Don't do refrigerated storage. You may be asking, why the upgrades on the church? The reasoning is, if you don't have an infirmary and medicine, the survivors get sick, they have no chance of getting better and also to prevent people from getting sick you need plenty of medicine. Stockpile as many resources as you can at the church before you move to the snyder trucking warehouse. The reasoning is because each day that passes in the game, you lose construction materials. So, having as many of them and all other resources as high as possible before moving to the trucking depot is important. If your settlers get sick, they turn into zombies and die by mercy killing or kill your survivors when you come back. Ok? There are all the tips to as of why you need to to upgrades in the church. Plus, there are plenty on the map anyway and you can always radio in with Lily Ritter to check for more construction materials around the map anyway. There are all the tips! Anyone that says otherwise that you don't need to upgrade the church is an idiot and is probably just trolling because if you don't and don't have enough medicine resources survivors will get sick and die. Make sure you also put 4 outposts near the area of the church as well to intercept any incoming hordes.

    • @crazedmaniac6679
      @crazedmaniac6679  Год назад +2

      Well honestly, the max amount of manageable survivors you should have in a base should range from 16 to 24. You don't have to unless like 2/3 of everyone is tired all the time. I think there are only 8 beds. The trucker warehouse is the biggest base in the game, which is why I use it. If you are that much over the limit (which not everybody knows) You may want to consider sacrificing one of the buildings like the library once all research is done, or start letting go of survivors you don't want. I'm very surprised you took in that many. I usually keep it around 16 just for sake of resource and community management.

    Does Alan and pastor die anyways ??? I don't think I have made an informatory yet and to make all those library and stuff etc we just have to collect sacks of materials right ?

    • @crazedmaniac6679
      @crazedmaniac6679  Год назад +1

      Alan and Pastor will are scripted to die in the game, yes. Even if you have medicine stockpiled, 4 outposts up, an infirmary, and some upgraded facilities those two will still die. They are scripted to die in the games code. Same thing with the Judge and the Deputy down at the courthouse.
      Listen to me, DO NOT make a library in the church. The way you are supposed to setup the churches buildings are 1. Infirmary, 2. Level 2 Workshop, 3. Level 2 Storage. Do not do any more upgrades than that. Once you have those set, start stockpiling resources and doing quests until you get the one from Jacob Ritter where you can move down to the trucker depot. MAKE SURE that you scavenge all of the surrounding areas that can be looted around the church and have either a modern pickup or SUV or two stuffed with any excess rucksack resources right before you move because you are going to need them all to build the settlement at the trucker depot. Also make sure you meet the survivor number requirement so you can move in there. Once you are there, just follow the guide on this base video here. If you need more help on the game, I have an entire playlist walkthrough of the game with tips along the way and I beat it too. Nobody dies except Alan, Pastor Will, and any other NPC characters that are scripted to die by the games code and events.
      Don't waste resources making a library at the church. It's not worth it. Just do as I advised and scavenge. Also, start making flame fougasse traps once you upgrade to the level 2 workshop. You'll need those to take down juggernauts. Also, when dealing with ferals, stay inside a vehicle and run them over. Flame fougasse traps are pressure sensitive incendiary fire mines. Here is what you do, make a whole bunch of those, and when you are going to deal with a juggernaut... set them up where you know theyll approach you, then taunt them or shoot them to get their attention. If you do it right, they will charge over the traps and die. Think of it like that. Set traps, aggro them to get their attention, and then they run over them and die. If you want the link to the playlist, just ask me. I hope that helps you out.

      Did you loot everything out of the warehouse BEFORE you put the outpost in? Because if you did take out every resource from the building before you placed an outpost in, the bonus won't apply. If you want the bonuses for your base outposts, you have to leave the cached resources in there and not loot them. Ammo caches, building caches, medicine caches, food caches, whatever they are, they need to stay in the building and not be looted in order for the outpost bonuses to apply.
