I started with Warlord and couldn’t be happier. It makes cleaning out plague hearts quickly a breeze which will in return make obtaining the rest of the cards much quicker.
Yeah, it’s extremely overpowered in nightmare zone and lethal. It just makes the juggernauts disappear. And of course there’s the boon which is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. It just removes the water and power aspects from the game, LOL.
The Warlord Legacy gives 2 M4A1 rifles, one Sighted M4A1, A 50. Caliber Sniper Rifle (forgot which one), 300 extra rounds of 5.56, 30 extra rounds of 50. Caliber, and 20 Grenades. Sorry if this was already shared, or if you already knew. Either way, hope you all have a wonderful day!
The Warlord boon gives you 4 M4 variants, and .50cal, 20 grenades, 30 bullets for .50 and about 300 for 5.56. Edit: This may change depending on playthrough but I haven't started a new playthrough using this boon. On my 5th generation now but I don't plan on rushing this one.
Jalen Moore It's up to you. I rushed through my first 4 playthroughs with a .50 Cal to destroy the plague hearts, destroyed them on the character I wanted to be leader so I had enough experience to promote them, and then rushed through the legacy missions to unlock the boons. Now I'm on the 5th generation of survivors and I'm going to take my time on this playthrough and explore everything on all the maps.
Is the legacy considered complete once you clear out all the plaque hearts? Im playing as a warlord, cleared out all the plague hearts, spoke to 3 people in my community about it like it said but nothing happened
Builders best by far. Free power n water, no noise. Don't have to use outposts for power n water. Saves u 3000 influence, 2 outposts slots, and ur base does better with power n water. Use it with trader or warlord.
Builder= free power and water= more spots for other facilities. Builder definitely a must have. Then either sheriff or trader. I say trader...just buy all your supplies and stock up. But sheriff is more long term so depends on the gifts you receive IMO.
imo use sheriff + builder boons + having a survivor hold 7 plague cure bulks for overwhelming amounts of influence and rush into a large base for the long haul
Just got the game a couple weeks ago and have been loving it, finished the first playthrough with a builder as my leader, and just before the last mission I loaded up the three survivors I planned on using in the next playthrough with a supply backpack each, some of my favorite weapon (such as the Spec Ops mp5, repeating crossbow, etc...,) mods (signal antenna, CNC mill, compost bin, pistol & rifle ammo presses, pesticide sprayer, sanitizer station and the salvage forge,) 6 bulk plague cures, a heavy & a medium vehicle upgrade kit, a few hundred parts, a few skill books (I wasted a slot here as I had assumed the survivors skills would reset to that character's default, thus my one toon which started without a 5th skill would need a book to learn one, which I would have actually prefered, but no biggie,) one can of gas, one repair kit, (so I could repair and fuel the vehicle you start by, instead of needing to get to the base on foot and then find a can if gas before retrieving the vehicle,) and then filled any remaining slots with ammo, mostly 9mm since two of the survivors had silenced mp5s. Then I loaded up the other survivors, which I might or might not use in the future with similar gear, although all my "must have" items went on the 3 I knew I would use on the next playthrough. I actually had planned to play through the game with each leader type, but always starting with the same three survivors, assuming they all survive that long. Between the builder boon, all the supplies I loaded them with and the influence I was able to get from selling the bulk plague cures I carried over the second playthrough is almost too easy, at least initially. I wish I had the option of being able to increase to the next difficulty option a step, to dred, and use the boon I got at standard, to help balance the gameplay out. As it is the second playthrough will be much easier, and the third even easier yet, as you not only get the boon, but the survivor skills are not only maxed out, but they come in loaded with the best gear from the previous playthrough. As it is if you want to use the boon you earned, you're stuck playing at the same, or lower, difficulty level. IMO this doesn't make sense, and makes players less likely to bump up their difficulty as most people will want to use the boon they just earned. This then will likely make increasing your difficulty later seem like a much larger jump, as after playing, at say standard, a few times with the boons, you'll suddenly be faced with not only harder gameplay, but you'll also lack the boons you've become accustomed to. IMO giving players the option of tweaking difficulty in single player games is ALWAYS a great idea, as I'd prefer to have the option to use the boon, but decide against using it, than have the game devs decide that for me.
@@newtgaming4972 if you bring a juggernaut near the tower the sniper will eventually kill it without you having to use a single bullet. Builder leader does have it's pros
At least you just have to use the leader once, I plan to beat all 4 leaders and get all the boons, then just make a survival community. Judging by this video I'll probably make a trader leader with favors and Amenities as my boons. Favors 4k head start is just too good to turn down, easily moving into the 3.5k base within an hour of play is too good. Plus the trader is nice to have as well. Amenities is crazy good as well, whether you consider it as saving 2 Outpost or 2 base slots is still so strong. The no threat or cost is just cherry topping to it all. As for leaders I think I would be torn between warlord and trader. Trader feels stronger long term for the radio commands, but the barracks is so nice to for the beds
*This post is a long term strategy and will explain in length tips & tricks, reader discretion is advised* My goal in the sandbox is to make a community with all 5 of the resources stable or increasing with the useable ammo for weapons I use. I’ll be rotating through all three maps with a warlord leader (Amenities & Charity cards active) to get raw ammo resource and converting it into the rounds I use. I’ll also clear out a whole towns of their resources with a follower, loot from building to building systematically, putting rucksacks into an 8 slot vehicle and when my & my follower’s followers inventory are full make I an outpost and stash non-rucksack items like parts, blood plague samples, weapons Etc. Then when everything has been stored I abandon the outpost and the spent influence will be refunded, then I repeat until I have no more space for rucksacks. Here’s the good bit, I make an outpost and have my vehicle nearby and unload all rucksacks, swap characters to someone who is at home base and equip a rucksack, repeat until they all have been equipped and then switch to my preferred survivor and continue “outpost-looting” with more space in my vehicle for rucksacks. Once I get back to base I’ll have vehicles all around my base (not just in parking slots) to hold all rucksacks until they are needed, this it to avoid resource spoilage. Once the map has been looted I’ll search for survivors with good skills and kick survivors with bad skills & traits out, all while not having to worry about resources. While doing this I’ll clear the plague hearts and make cure bundles for sale or break down into cure if needed. I’ll have rotated through the maps repeating this until I get to Cascade hills and set up my box fort endgame. The end game base will no longer have a warlord due to me (willingly) getting them killed and replaced by a trader for the depot (If I’m low on a resource I’ll buy it), have a staging area (no material loss), hydroponics (for food and meds) and🤞🏼survivors with hero bonuses that help with resource gain then fill out the remaining resource depletion using 6 outposts. Hope this gets spread around so some help would be great so please 👍🏼 so other communities can see ✌🏼 out & enjoy.
Irish Recker it's actually not as crazy at Ms it sounds, you usually can get 2-3 conclaves at allied pretty quickly and then you recruit someone from each, plus random events. Sure RNjesus plays a big part in this, but I just did it on the playthrough I'm doing now
IAmYourTargetDemoGraphic I'm not a huge min maxer, but you do a lot of what I do as far as outposts go, but I play to enjoy so I don't do that crazy swap for the rucksack maximization. But if that's what you like sounds solid and go with it all :3 that's the best part of this game, everyone can enjoy in a unique and different way
Sound like Trader first since its good then you get that card and then run Builder second with Trader card should make it easier. Then start your 3rd with the Builder and Trader card and then run Warlord leader.
Completed the hole game in one week I got all the legacy for all. The difficulty’s and can complete the day brake mode but. Over all it is a grate game and this vid helped me. Learn wish ones to use it really helped me
it doesnt really matter when the game ends after u destroy a handful of hearts then do like 2-3 leader missions. hoarded a bunch of items my first run to end up very disappointed and items gone after "beating" the game.
Broccles or just have a friend take the items you want to keep and after you beat it have them drop them I have over 100 guns and from 2 legacy's and joining him twice
After the new dlc update when u switch to a new zone (dread or nightmare zone) you'll start with a blank set of legacy cards. Im in dread and on my first dread zone playthrough. Im gonna go for the warlord first, get the guns then get the builder. Kill all plague hearts with the timberwolf sniper and then complete the legacy with the builder then bam u can do sheriff or trader next cause you have the warlord boon again and the builder boon
Hands down the best legacy card in the game is the builder, free water and power without a drawback makes this game easy since you could use that space for other facilities, I agree that the trader is the best leader since you can call any type of trader and exchange for rucksacks. Now the first leader anyone should pick is the warlord, because of the 50 cal that you get. There are around 12 plague hearts in every zone and you get 50 bullets. It takes 3 bullets to destroy a plague heart so yo only need 36 bullets to clean a zone. After you do every legacy don't dismiss the trader legacy card since the 4000 you get, can be used to by a heap of materials and ammo for next to nothing. Saving precious points to get a bigger base. Trader and builder legacy are my standart since they outweight every other card by far.
If you start a new community with previous survivalists, that´s a one time only chance. I found out the hard way. Those survivalists will not be available again if you delete the new community, I deleted mine because it turned out to be the same map and I wanted a new map. My best peeps were gone, I still have the 3 others since I finished with 6 people only but I wish I would have known about the effects of deleting.
The game sort of wanted me to start a new community right away after finishing a game, I did just that but it was the same map. I did choose 3 of the survivalists from the finished game, I deleted that community right after because I wanted to play another map, I thought those survivors would still be available from the pool of available people.
Best way is to mix your leader when you have biggest base. For example take a builder as a leader build a watch tower (its gives you great sniper cover option in raido). Then you can just die, and pick up a new leader what you want to.
The best without a doubt is the Warlord for your first playthrough, by getting the anti-material rifle with 30 bullets you can destroy all plague hearts of your map really quickly, that way you can unlock really fast the rest of the legacys. And if you want to be the real MVP, get the builder legacy with the Warlord or the trader legacy, and play endlessly with a trader or by switching leaders to get all special buildings, being the trade Depot the best, because you can call a trader and have it kill by a horde or juggernaut to get lots of stuff and trade too to never run out of anything. Once you have the builder legacy is really easy to have self sustain, productive base without even trading, being plague cures boxes the main winner of influence (500).
I played through all before juggernaut edition released and here’s my recommendation for new players or new saves: 1. Builder: play as builder first while your in standard zone (or new green zone). Yea it’s boring, but it’ll give you the best legacy card and won’t bog you down with story missions on your first run. Keep it simple while your still learning. 2. Trader: gets you another good card and provides a good story. Not as much fighting humans yet but still added challenge from builder (Next two are interchangeable) 3. Warlord: teaches you to fight more human targets. I’d recommend for more experienced players. The legacy card comes in handy for the next play through. 4. Sheriff: this one was my most recent game. I was a fan of TWD and this story is my favorite. Warlord card comes in handy here because you’ll be fighting VERY dangerous human targets (especially in dread/nightmare). Essentially clearing our Neagan wannabes. Sheriff card imo is kinda not good but the story and buildings are 👌
Warlord is my favourite. I love being the Surly twins because the girl is constantly being a warlord or a Sheriff. Edit: I killed every plague heart by day 2 with the warlord card.
Sniper cover is a really useful radio ability, especially when dealing with more than one Feral if you don't have a car or certain weapos/specialization comboes.
Drone Geeks I'm on my second playthrough and still haven't gotten a single call from that group unfortunately. But have had plenty times my car broke in the middle of nowhere causing some pretty intense" running through the dark with my leader" moments. Made for good play but holy shit scary.
Having a builder leader give you the possibility to arrive at 12 community members . Thats a big plus and make the long run gameplay a bit more interesting .
The trader also can enable whiskey production at the still. This means you can easily get a ton of favor by selling it to the summoned traders, due to it being a luxury item
The Warlord drop gives you 3 M16's (or some shit), 1 Sighted m16 (or whatever it was), 200 rounds of 5.56, 1 bolt action 50 cal, and about 20 or 30 50 cal bullets. Oh and 20 frag grenades.
beat the game w/ warlord then on next game start you choose the warlord card. you can have 2 active cards. So warlord card gives you all this at start of new game.
My favorite is the Builder. The only one where you don’t have to drive all over to complete your legacy mission. You just stay put and build. Also, it gives you some added community members prior to finishing up. The Sheriff has a glitch. I had to exile my favorite character in order to complete as a Trader because it wouldn’t let me complete as Sheriff.
Favors and Amenities all they way, I have fazed out warlord and sheriff I play with 3 same characters and just load them up to carry over to next game, before last mission on a map load up all characters you plan to take to next game and you start with everything you loaded them up with. I start each map with 99 chems, seeds, parts, ammo press and my super light 50cal, AK and Scar H RT edition which is like warlord on steroids if you want a challenge just start a new community and do it all over again. Anyway great videos mate keep up the good work and thanks for all the tips and tricks.
100% TRADER, not only you can get better mobility for looting(buying outpost to put stuff in it then leave it), it is also a good way for your friends to come at your game and use the radio to let them buy what they need. trader + autoshop(if you are generous enough) will allow to make upg kits for cars. Etc you come to a random game with others, and while playing you notice they havent upg the car yet, thats where you come in and give them the kit free of charge! In short, Trader is the best way to prolong gameplay and also allow you to help others by giving them what they needed(other players)
PLUS, make sure to have radio cd booster to shorten the amount of cooldown of radio calls. You can get them by helping enclaves/other survivors and radio tower as an outpost. Looking for people radio calls default cd was 40 mins with the radio shorten cd i make it to 15-20(some where between) mins. P.S i was really picky with survivors so i just keep calling and calling until i find a good survivors with good traits such as determined( and i only recruit people with hoodies or with mask and gloves lol) so far i made 2 community filled with hoody people(HOODIES OF JUSTICE)
Are u loosing your legacy boons if your character dies which who was the one you mastered the legacy in the first run? Or is this legacy boon permanently available even if your main cheriff who made the legacy dies?
warlord has 3 AR-15's and a 50cal but its not the timberwolf, it does the same amount of damage but has 5 bullets in a mag instead of 7 and you get 30 bullets for it which means you can clear each plague heart extremely easy with just using the 50 cal
I think the builder could be a good leader with the right base. Keep the community small so you don’t need any bed other than the luxury barracks. No built in watch tower also. I made the mistake of moving into the baseball stadium in Meagah Valley, already has 2 built in towers so soon as I built the sniper tower I was losing 3 ammo a day. Different leaders are best suited to certain bases and the builder 100% needs a 5 person max base. I’ve almost completed with each leader then I’ll be starting my last save for just free roam. Surviving etc. I’ll be using the builder boon and either the Sheriff or Warlord (probably Sheriff). The Traderboon is good but if I bring loads of crafted cure boxes from a previous playthrough then I’ll be swimming in influence.
Builder Leader was pretty good, especially the sniper radio call. The legacy card is easily one of the most useful, kills the need for any power or water based structures at all.
u can only have 9 persons in a game after u get 9 the game stops spawning missions to recuit ... until one die then spwans a new mission with luck u can get max of 12 i think
Yes you will need an upgrade to go on it.. forget what it's called but makes it produce 100% using 1 food. So stack that on top of the buff that's already built in. Can convert it to meds, too. I'm treading water right now in my map using 5 ammo outposts, 2 hydroponics, and will make a staging area late game to eliminate needs for materials. I can produce every resource other than materials.
Assuming you have whatever boons you want, I say trader is best given the trade post buying ammo for influence with an ammo trader summon. Food and fuel is easy to cover with a hydroponics and still, materials with a staging area, meds with outposts but become useless after you build a med and cure stash, ammo on the other hand is hardest to gather once you strip the map of resources. Outpost gathering too slow. 2nd pick would be a sheriff leader for lounge level 3 and the easy level ups for your followers. I intend to use that to find that uber survivor via dismissing followers till I find the right one. Field hospital, sniper tower, and the armory are either: frivolous, broken, or insignificantly marginal than their workshop/infirmary replacement. Just doesn't justify the large slot usage imo.
Warlord or Sheriff all day lol but I don’t really care for legacy cards. Mostly for my single community at the time. I’ll swap my leaders out so I can use there buildings and then pick the leader I wanna keep after everything is built
W warlord if u go to the storage locker instead of the 1st base in the beginning ill get the gins n frags, exit game, reload, 5 more guns 20 more drags 30 more 50 cal n 200 more 5.56 rounds every time u exit n reload, also u can get 12k influence w trader as well. I like builder best, saves 3k influence for the outposts, u can use 2 outposts for other stuff, no 3 fuel a day for water and power, just beast. Best to play as a trader. I'm omw to 365 days w trader.
I found a huge glitch for war lord if you have the boon go into a game save and leave so you get a little base you get the m4s 50 and everything else save after you get it leave and load back you get it again and again I have 50 m4a1s with a lot of the other stuff
The Builder's Sniper Tower does some work though. But you are correct in actually playing through the builder's legacy is garbage. Thank goodness I got that out of the way and now have the builder's legacy card for future playthroughs. Not having to worry about power/water thus being able to focus on other facilities is going to be a tremendous quality of life addition for future playthroughs
I just obtained Trader Legacy Boon, now progressing to Builder Legacy, but somehow the Legacy Quests only stuck at "Safe at Home" and "Useful Utilities", no sign of progressing into "Strength in Numbers" and next quests. Plague Hearts already been cleared and after that I promote a Leader. Any information to solve this will be useful, I appreciate it 👍
I have a few questions a bit off topic. So dose your guys in your settlement use ammo when they shoot and then Take it from the locker? Do they use painkillers etc?. Atm my guys are all rocking guns with 9mm ammo as it’s abundant. If I was to let’s say give them shotguns or smgs will they just eat up my ammo reserves?
Tribsta 101 so far I don't think so as I lure juggernauts to my base (they spawn there a lot for some reason) they spray alot and haven't ran out of ammo or when I use the character again they have the same amount I left them with
Yea what Scrappy says is true, from what I've seen guns left in your survivors inventory that you're not using will still fire and not consume ammo. You'll only consume ammo if you're controlling them. Load up the 50 cals haha. Hope they don't change this lol
Robin Burnette random maybe u can tell by their traits idk. but after finishing a legacy and choosing new survivors it said what they were for me. like Say Jake was Trader and Bob was Warlord like that

I didn't think of that, I'll have to run warlord first to get the population and then trader to sustain, sick idea or maybe run sheriff first to get field hosp, then warlord to get armory and upgraded bunks, then trader.
Christ I love your commentary. I'd love to have you as a survivor in my base in RL. Traits: funny, over planner, just keeps going. Unique skill: comedy. AND what white guy doesn't want a black friend? This is my friend. Demone. Hes black. Yep. I got a black friend. Cheers man. Keep up the great work
The amenities is nice but if you like to rough it in the game and actually like to go out and get fuel outposts amenities is not for you but then again if you want to have an extra meds and/or food outpost I have to agree with having amenities.. for me I'm torn between amenities and favors, charity and favors and charity and amenities
Playing the jaugeranut edition and I'm dissapointed with the minimal amount of voice acting. Would go a long way to have the whole game voice acted. On a side note the voice acting is pretty good.
Warlord is the best one in my opinion with that bonus you can make more beds and more space for more survivors the only down fall is you will have to work more for everything else specificity food you need to get the right mods at your camp in order to survive if not you need to make hella runs to stay up float with everybody’s needs
Go to Meagher Valley. Get a Trader Leader. Go to Squelones Brewing Company. Get Power Outpost. Obtain Farm 3, 2 Hydroponics (one growing meds), Workshop, Infirmary, etc. Farm Influence. Feelsgoodman
how did you got all 4? i can only make 3 communitys. or did you change leader in one community? or did you delete a community and keep the card? i do not rlly understand it
aaaah thank you so much i had no idea. i love the game. just have this problem with my trader as leader. when i build the trader post in my base the legacy quest dissapears on me. happend twice now.. quest diddnt asked me to make one but i find it handy in my base to have. some advised me to join a co op and come back and the quest should be back. but it is not. so i am kinda stuck on how to finish it with the trader.
Quick question, hoping someone here can help me out with: Is there a limit of how many people you can have as a legacy character? Like after playing a few playthroughs and having about 20+ legacy characters or something, will some start to get deleted or do you keep all your characters?
Every time you create a new community, you can bring back legacy characters from ANY of the previous playthroughs. There's actually a stat tracker on how many playthroughs each character has survived so far.
Ms Morrison the legacy cards are from previously completed communities, they are not affected if you delete a community. I cannot answer whether a character in that deleted community will be selectable if it is from a previous community though.
Hey nice video, i have beat the game with everything except sheriff so far, i am working on that now. I have found the sniper tower for the builder to be incredible, anytime you get into a jam calling for sniper cover could totally save you. It's strong enough that it will 1 shot any zombies except a juggernaut but it can still take them out as well. It's a useful way to take out infestations or have some cover for taking on a plague heart. Plus the cool down is not that long i believe its 15 or 20 mins. One other advantage is if your car breaks or gets stuck, you can climb somewhere zombies can't reach you and call for sniper cover, they can clear the area for you to avoid losing a character. Warlord is decent it gives you 3 M4A1 to start plus 200 rounds of 5.56 ammo, a .50 caliber rifle with 30 rounds of ammo, 20 frag grenades. It's nice gear to start with and strong enough to help you take out 3 or 4 plague hearts quickly but as you get into mid to late game becomes less useful. Builder has the best legacy reward with water and power for sure. I feel warlord is kind of meh it's nice if you are rushing to beat the game because you get so many weapons to take out plague hearts quickly but that's all. Trader seems meh to me its nice for a quick start like warlord but it becomes less useful in the mid to late game. Do you know if the trader legacy perk works when you relocate to a different map each time? Or is it only for your very first base and first map one time only? If it gives you 4000 influence every time you change maps i could see it being worth it then. Sheriff seems interesting but random as you were saying, it's still a reward everyday though so i think i may do Sheriff and builder legacy rewards when i do my long term play through. Keep up the good work with the videos.
I beat the game on that play through so i can't go back and check at the moment. Sniper tower is pretty much the same thing as watchtower level 2 it costs 2 ammo per day to maintain if i am not mistaken. The actual use of the radio command does not cost anything except some influence, it's not expensive though like 90 or 100 influence per use. The area of effect is decent i would say probably the same size as an outpost, it also lasts about 60-90 seconds if i had to guess. It's fun to mess around with as you can use it in an offensive or defensive way, i found it to be useful since i am a solo player it provides some nice back up for plague hearts or just on difficult special zombies.
Yeah trader is the way to go for long term play sessions, it's just too good having access to anything you want or need like additional materials, guns, parts and mods. I wanted to beat the game with all the different leaders before figuring out my leader for long play sessions. Having just finished that yesterday i feel Trader is the best followed by builder, the sniper tower radio feature is excellent to use. After that i feel it's a toss up between warlord and sheriff, i feel like both of those need some buffs as their special buildings do not offer much. I know warlord can make it's own ammo but you can get a handgun press or rifle press mod for workshop which allow you to make the most common rounds .22,9mm,45 for handgun press and 5.56,7.62 for rifle press both of those mods make warlord perk not nearly as good in my opinion. Sheriff just gets a sightly better upgraded infirmary, i didn't even use it for my play through.
Beat the game once with the trader leader, I don't wanna switch to other leaders but I want those legacy cards lol I'll try the builder thanks for the tip, I didn't know the characters would carry the inventory in the backpack after beating the game, man I lose some good stuff from the last gameplay :/
How do you sustain the food supply? Getting a big morale drop have 9 food. 1 good outpost and a level 2 farm. That was good for 7 people but I brought on an 8th and it was negative.? I really like the police station base. I dont want to move. On day 12
LDOE PRO Im on the brewing station in the valley, have a lvl 3 farm and 2 hydroponics and produce around 18 food per day, i had a trader leader and was farming influence like crazy
If you want more people to to put in your legacy pool then have a builder leader because near the endgame the game will let you have up to twelve people
If you choose a leader and build their large slot facility and then kill them, do you lose that facility? On top of that can you keep choosing leaders, build their large slot facility then kill them to have all the facilities
What happens if you are about to meat the game with persay a warlord and you switch your leader to a builder does that count? Like you would get the builder legacy?
Sykout Trader better loot and make the world feel more alive having people coming and going from Ur base. Like the walking dead season 7 n 8 when warlord is more like season 5 where everyone is a enemy. If u watched.. 🙊
I've finished this game multiple times excellent game hope they continue to make more maps and maybe create your own character from scratch.
Would be amazing to create ones own character :D
I started with Warlord and couldn’t be happier. It makes cleaning out plague hearts quickly a breeze which will in return make obtaining the rest of the cards much quicker.
Thanks for the advice. Doing Green zone rn as to play around with all leaders to figure out which ones to get first on standard. Warlord noted.
Can we change leaders once we set it up?
@@viperakmal yep sure can
*”Builder leader sucks, couldn’t find anything worth while building.”* *Laughs in Sniper Tower*
The sniper tower is so busted. I dont even worry about juggernauts anymore. Just click one button and watch him die. Its too strong.
@@PoppaPatty It honestly is and if you have friends join in your world they too have access to the sniper tower and their own respective cooldowns.
WRG oh 30 .50 Cal is nice since I have had shit luck finding a press for them
Should I switch if it’s my first play through either the warlord
Jalen Moore It's up to you. I rushed through my first 4 playthroughs with a .50 Cal to destroy the plague hearts, destroyed them on the character I wanted to be leader so I had enough experience to promote them, and then rushed through the legacy missions to unlock the boons. Now I'm on the 5th generation of survivors and I'm going to take my time on this playthrough and explore everything on all the maps.
shit boi if ya want I can give you a press for free
Is the legacy considered complete once you clear out all the plaque hearts? Im playing as a warlord, cleared out all the plague hearts, spoke to 3 people in my community about it like it said but nothing happened
Builders best by far. Free power n water, no noise. Don't have to use outposts for power n water. Saves u 3000 influence, 2 outposts slots, and ur base does better with power n water. Use it with trader or warlord.
Builder for the water and power and trader boon for rucksacks and other outpost giving other resources. Best combination imo
Go up in difficulty. Dread mode or higher and your booms won’t make the game super easy like it does on standard.
The builder leader has the best benefits to your group, the sniper tower is the best building in the game the missions are essentially the same
Builder leader has a sniper watchtower is good cause you can get someone to shoot 50. Caliber rounds which are really strong
He will shoot even i didnt put any ammo ?
@@newtgaming4972 yes
@@newtgaming4972 if you bring a juggernaut near the tower the sniper will eventually kill it without you having to use a single bullet. Builder leader does have it's pros
Subbed because of that great Trader impersonation.
*This post is a long term strategy and will explain in length tips & tricks, reader discretion is advised*
My goal in the sandbox is to make a community with all 5 of the resources stable or increasing with the useable ammo for weapons I use.
GL getting the 8 people on 1 hr
Irish Recker it's actually not as crazy at Ms it sounds, you usually can get 2-3 conclaves at allied pretty quickly and then you recruit someone from each, plus random events. Sure RNjesus plays a big part in this, but I just did it on the playthrough I'm doing now
IAmYourTargetDemoGraphic I'm not a huge min maxer, but you do a lot of what I do as far as outposts go, but I play to enjoy so I don't do that crazy swap for the rucksack maximization. But if that's what you like sounds solid and go with it all :3 that's the best part of this game, everyone can enjoy in a unique and different way
Make an outpost before looting. It enables fast loot without the chance of it failing and making noise
Poop could be used on the garden
Sound like Trader first since its good then you get that card and then run Builder second with Trader card should make it easier. Then start your 3rd with the Builder and Trader card and then run Warlord leader.
Completed the hole game in one week I got all the legacy for all. The difficulty’s and can complete the day brake mode but. Over all it is a grate game and this vid helped me. Learn wish ones to use it really helped me
5:17 made my day xDD Hilarious :D
The Timberwolve sniper (that uses .50 AP rounds) takes out hearts in 3 shots. You're welcome
HeavenlyBog any 50. Cal takes out a heart in 3 shots. But Timberwolf does it the best
KingDerpNugget I've only found the Timberwolve, I just go off of experience
HeavenlyBog The exotic trader sells a sniper called the Bf-50 and it’s amazing. If you see one (which is 1,500 influence), I would get it
I'll look into it, just started a new community
KingDerpNugget I was about to say the same thing, B50FG can shoot 3 rounds in 0.5 seconds lol absolutely wrecks hearts
it doesnt really matter when the game ends after u destroy a handful of hearts then do like 2-3 leader missions. hoarded a bunch of items my first run to end up very disappointed and items gone after "beating" the game.
Vocu if u put them on survivors u bring them into Ur next game.
Broccles or just have a friend take the items you want to keep and after you beat it have them drop them I have over 100 guns and from 2 legacy's and joining him twice
Brett Henning I kinda like the grind
Vocu why did u fucking rush through the game damn go outside for a few
Kind of understand you dude. I was in a rush when the hint box for the last mission came up and just clicked it away.
The sniper tower with the builder is pretty nice, it pretty much destroys all zombies
The Spark well duh
The game sort of wanted me to start a new community right away after finishing a game, I did just that but it was the same map. I did choose 3 of the survivalists from the finished game, I deleted that community right after because I wanted to play another map, I thought those survivors would still be available from the pool of available people.
Should have backed up your saves, my brother
The Spark i was just about to ask this question, thanks for clarifying for me
Idiot. It tells u that before u delete it
I prefer the builder when I want to do a quick playthrough since you don't have to travel all over the map for the end game.
The mobilization boone is 3 m4s a 50cal rifle with 25 hand grenades... 150 rounds of 5.56 and 40 rounds 50cal ammo
Thanks man!
I played through all before juggernaut edition released and here’s my recommendation for new players or new saves:
1. Builder: play as builder first while your in standard zone (or new green zone). Yea it’s boring, but it’ll give you the best legacy card and won’t bog you down with story missions on your first run. Keep it simple while your still learning.
2. Trader: gets you another good card and provides a good story. Not as much fighting humans yet but still added challenge from builder
(Next two are interchangeable)
The builder is the only one that can build the sniper tower and upgrade a generator to a generator 3
mouse2482 sniper tower is broken till next patch and just get a power outpost
Broccles my sniper tower works fine and is OP
Sniper cover is a really useful radio ability, especially when dealing with more than one Feral if you don't have a car or certain weapos/specialization comboes.
Radintoriov how do u not have a car 🚗 work with the auto shop survivors to unlock radio call for salvaged vehicles for 150 influence
Drone Geeks I'm on my second playthrough and still haven't gotten a single call from that group unfortunately. But have had plenty times my car broke in the middle of nowhere causing some pretty intense" running through the dark with my leader" moments. Made for good play but holy shit scary.
If you are on the map with the brewery and you choose the base with the brewery then make your leader a trader you'll be able to get a lot of stuff
Nice, I have yet to try that brewery base. I heard you can make whiskey as a trader as well?
That call to your "trader boo-boo" got my subscription! Lmao
This vid was really helpful, thanks!
You're welcome!
Builder leader has the sniper tower which is op allowing you to call in an invisible sniper with 100% accuracy
But that's about it
Having a builder leader give you the possibility to arrive at 12 community members . Thats a big plus and make the long run gameplay a bit more interesting .
This video is awesome, it’s exactly what I was looking to find.
The trader also can enable whiskey production at the still. This means you can easily get a ton of favor by selling it to the summoned traders, due to it being a luxury item
All characters can makr whiskey at the still, my leader is builder.
The Warlord drop gives you
3 M16's (or some shit), 1 Sighted m16 (or whatever it was), 200 rounds of 5.56, 1 bolt action 50 cal, and about 20 or 30 50 cal bullets. Oh and 20 frag grenades.
Thanks Dude : D
How do you get this?
beat the game w/ warlord then on next game start you choose the warlord card. you can have 2 active cards. So warlord card gives you all this at start of new game.
np man! Thanks for the videos :)
frags make great money btw (about 112 for 3 of em) so a really great way to earn money quick
Builder leader Sniper Tower with Sniper support on 5 min cool-down. Priceless.
Thanks for posting! I've been looking for this information for a while.
It's 4 M4A1s, one sighted M4A1, 20 grenades, 200 5.56 bullets, one 25lb 50 cal, 30 50 cal bullets
Thanks for the video, I'm new to the game and have no idea what these legacy cards were all about
Free power and water for your base is gold. Really helpful so far. But yea, the builder storyline was lame.
Builder storyline was super lame lol but yea that card is sick!
I love how the 4 cards depend on your playstyle , love when games do this! ❤
Builder is the best legacy
Hey brotha did you figure out if the boon multiplier if you beat the legacy more then once?
Chromewolf187 Yea I know no pretty stupid buy by switching maps I've managed to get 16 survivors
must be a pain in ass to get food ;)
hydroponics gives 9 food per day. use builder card and easily put 2 hydros in a big base. 16 food per day.
hmm need the builder lengendary it flip the game :)
This was a really helpful video. Thank you! :D
You're Welcome
Brett Henning Anyone have proof of this?
Josef Ihli I'm going to make a game clip tomorrow and upload it I have over 10k 556 rounds
Brett Henning sounds goof
Josef Ihli I uploaded the video
The Builder's Sniper Tower does some work though. But you are correct in actually playing through the builder's legacy is garbage.
Thank goodness I got that out of the way and now have the builder's legacy card for future playthroughs. Not having to worry about power/water thus being able to focus on other facilities is going to be a tremendous quality of life addition for future playthroughs
I Liked the builder bc of the sniper tower, it made attacks and looting near base a lot easier
Thanks for the info I was leaning towards the same conclusion thanks guys 👍
Out of curiosity. Is the warlord or builder etc all random between survivors? Or can you choose?
Robin Burnette random maybe u can tell by their traits idk. but after finishing a legacy and choosing new survivors it said what they were for me. like Say Jake was Trader and Bob was Warlord like that

I didn't think of that, I'll have to run warlord first to get the population and then trader to sustain, sick idea or maybe run sheriff first to get field hosp, then warlord to get armory and upgraded bunks, then trader.
Enjoyed your presentation style, best of luck to you.
You can make all Leader Buildings if you exile leaders after you construct stuff...
João Pedro Nasser ye
My first task is get trader first then, builder, then the other two
Sounds like a plan, I was thinking trader first would be solid with all the mats up front.
Thank you SIR! Saved me some lifetime with this info.
Christ I love your commentary. I'd love to have you as a survivor in my base in RL. Traits: funny, over planner, just keeps going. Unique skill: comedy. AND what white guy doesn't want a black friend? This is my friend. Demone. Hes black. Yep. I got a black friend.
Cheers man. Keep up the great work
Hahaha thanks so much man, we'd have a blast in the community too!
The amenities is nice but if you like to rough it in the game and actually like to go out and get fuel outposts amenities is not for you but then again if you want to have an extra meds and/or food outpost I have to agree with having amenities.. for me I'm torn between amenities and favors, charity and favors and charity and amenities
favours is the worse hahahahaa
Charlie Mulligan no warlord is cause you get crap off of it you can very easily get in game
Chris Ross I'm doing the sherrif boon and builder boon for my permanent long term game. And thinking of doing either trader/warlord for my leader.
The trader influence you get daily is 200 I believe. I'm trying to get my community as far as I can go even though I'm only on day 86 at the moment.
Playing the jaugeranut edition and I'm dissapointed with the minimal amount of voice acting. Would go a long way to have the whole game voice acted. On a side note the voice acting is pretty good.
It’s good, but the characters usually only have 1 or 2 lines for each answer, it ends up being really strange some of the conversations.
Playing as builder in nightmare mode is nice with sniper tower radio command.
Warlord is the best one in my opinion with that bonus you can make more beds and more space for more survivors the only down fall is you will have to work more for everything else specificity food you need to get the right mods at your camp in order to survive if not you need to make hella runs to stay up float with everybody’s needs
Christopher, build and trader r the best boons to use.
It's pretty easy to get influence regardless, trader is only really useful for getting more chances to get rare base mods and guns.
Out of curiosity, how is base population max calculated? Hard cap, or based on beds?
Ayo I agree wit all this except for the builder, that shit is boring, sure, but that sniper tower be bussin
That shot tower with the builder is amazing. Zombies get hit anywhere on the map
Go to Meagher Valley. Get a Trader Leader. Go to Squelones Brewing Company. Get Power Outpost. Obtain Farm 3, 2 Hydroponics (one growing meds), Workshop, Infirmary, etc. Farm Influence. Feelsgoodman
I'm sold... I'm gunning for Builder on my first Legacy. That card is INSANE!
how did you got all 4? i can only make 3 communitys. or did you change leader in one community? or did you delete a community and keep the card? i do not rlly understand it
aaaah thank you so much i had no idea. i love the game. just have this problem with my trader as leader. when i build the trader post in my base the legacy quest dissapears on me. happend twice now.. quest diddnt asked me to make one but i find it handy in my base to have. some advised me to join a co op and come back and the quest should be back. but it is not. so i am kinda stuck on how to finish it with the trader.
lol.. builder leader is the best for me.. "sniper support" go pew pew..
Vincent Chesshire If you delete one of your community's will you lose your legacy cards?
Ms Morrison the legacy cards are from previously completed communities, they are not affected if you delete a community. I cannot answer whether a character in that deleted community will be selectable if it is from a previous community though.
limited edition can call in 3 assault rifles and melee weapons and a vehicle
Tom dose it cost influence to use or any resources maybe ammo?. Also how long dose it last and area of effect?
That's a good call on the sniper fire. I didn't even think of that. I think I was just being a spoiled little bitch with the trader leader lol.
Tribs are you asking about the sniper fire?
On day 12
Food is pretty tricky but once you get it rolling it's great. I just dropped a vid on food management today : D
LDOE PRO Im on the brewing station in the valley, have a lvl 3 farm and 2 hydroponics and produce around 18 food per day, i had a trader leader and was farming influence like crazy
Sniper tower is pretty good with the builder leader. Lots of fights become breezes.
Would be neat to have a governor card for more starting people and higher population limit
I'm sure higher pop will come with future content
For these legacies, do they apply to all of your communities or just one?
I wanna know that to
thanks this was incredibly helpful
If you want more people to to put in your legacy pool then have a builder leader because near the endgame the game will let you have up to twelve people
I chose Builder on my first playthrough, am i missing out?
No, that was the best choice. Once you beat it with a builder you'll get a sick legacy card.
This is very helpful thanks for the video man 👍
thanks for the explanations :)
If you choose a leader and build their large slot facility and then kill them, do you lose that facility? On top of that can you keep choosing leaders, build their large slot facility then kill them to have all the facilities
You don’t lose their facilities. I’m doing it currently
Best legacy booms Amenities, Best leader Trader.
What happens if you are about to meat the game with persay a warlord and you switch your leader to a builder does that count? Like you would get the builder legacy?
The legacy you leave is determined by what leader's legacy mission you if I'm not mistaken.
I haven't played/bought this game yet this was educational
Not that much information out there yet, nice work - which leader do you prefer while you are IN the game - boons aside?
Sykout Trader better loot and make the world feel more alive having people coming and going from Ur base. Like the walking dead season 7 n 8 when warlord is more like season 5 where everyone is a enemy. If u watched.. 🙊
For sure Broccles, I agree. The trader as a leader is the best for long games since you can just buy resources.
U can't get over 20 citizens, most u can get is 9 or 10, it will say ur base is at maximum size after that if u try to recruit
