@Apex Detail Nice job finding another product that might be a home run. Looking forward to seeing what it can do against others. Have you checked out Hydrophobe or CeramicGuard from The Gloss Shop yet? I’m still amazed no one is talking about those products. Anyway, looking forward to your next video. Great job.

I love Simoniz products. I use their "hot wax" when I wash my car (same stuff they use at the car wash). Spray it on while the car is wet and towel dry as normal. Makes drying a black car much easier on a hot day. If you can find a car wash supply distributer in your area they usually carry the full Simoniz line.

This product may be a lot better than one would normally think about retail Simoniz products which are usually crap. However, Simoniz does have years of ceramic coating knowledge. Their Glass Coat is well regarded, but only available from authorized dealers. Hopefully the Glass Coat technology carries over to this product. Of course I had to go pick up a bottle of the Ceramic Wax as I have an Ollie's nearby. Can't wait to try it! Also, it will be interesting to see further testing to see how well it holds up to the competition.

Very cool, thanks Brian and a big thanks to the subscriber who sent it to you!
I wish they sold Simoniz in my area.. Simoniz detail spray was my *hands down* favorite years ago when they used to sell it around here. Once G.I. Joe's closed down, I couldn't buy it locally and wasn't into detailing enough to venture online for it! But it was very slick and incredibly easy to remove compared to the other retail varieties. It might not be as good now as I remember it back then, but this video has motivated me to order some! 👍👌✌

Exactly, I have never seen this before, but I will keep my eyes out for it now. Thanks for comparing products that are not usually on the Profesional detailer buy list. That's great for someone like me that wants to my Lexus looking good, and I did it myself.

I can’t wait for the next video. I never expected the Simonize to make it to another video. I guess I’m a snob about detailers and waxes but I’m willing to learn. Nice unbiased review. This is quickly (last two weeks) becoming one of my favorite channels and definitely my favorite detailing channel. 👍👍☮️

Simoniz invented ceramic coatings. You can watch the episode of Modern Marvel where it's discussed here on YT. They called it Glass Coat but only market it to dealerships. I had it applied to 2 new vehicles and it lasted right around 7 years. SImoniz keeps doing this. They produce consumer products that they never really sell in the US. I'd love to figure out why. You wont find it long, The reason its in the job lot type stores is they're dumping it. They do this ALL the time. I have more great discontinued (never sold) Simoniz products than I can count. Shampoos, Detail sprays, glass coatings ...you name it.

I wonder if EVERYONE who makes those little bottles of SIO2 coatings saw that video segment on Modern Marvels, and Simonize is private labeling everyone's product!!!!!!!!....or everyone went out to buy 55gal drums of Polysiloxane Bridge Coating and went to town bottleing eye-dropper containers with a 1,000,000 to the 10th power market-up!!!!!!!

a big difference between a real professional who really does this job, vs someone who just wants a youtube channel and freebies, you are willing to test any product with fairness, and if its good or bad, you show it, rather than just accepting expensive freebies and telling the world its the best thing, that seal and shine upset a lot of applecarts, but comparative testing is essential , and why your the only channel ive subbed to, thanks for keeping doing so

I did a little more research on this product. It comes from Mr Brands which is a wholesale supplier to dollar stores. Here's the wholesale case price: www.mrbrands.net/Simoniz-24oz-Ceramic-Spray-Wax?quantity=12 After reading the application directions, I wonder if this product is actually defective as the instructions say to spray the product on in a circular motion, then wipe with a clean microfiber. There is no way this product can be "sprayed on" It's way too thick. The only way to apply is the way Brian did by applying to an applicator pad or squirting on the surface, then and rubbing it in like any liquid wax. Also, this product is not listed at all on the Simoniz site, just Mr Brands site. More testing is in order.

I honestly did not know Simonize was still in business....I found an OLD can of Simonize wax in my garage this past Summer....it must have been my dads Years ago! funny, this video is from 2019. I just realized your bottle has an ollies price tag on it, which is exactly why I'm thinking about checking out Simoniz Ceramic Sealant and Ceramic Wax. My local one has them for like 1/2- 1/3 the price of normal retail. I generally hate Simoniz as most auto washes use their products and many are crap.. but not all of them, some are OK. I cant seem to find the difference between their ceramic products besides that "Glasscoat" is their permanent coating. "Ceramic Wax" is their hybrid, and nothing really about the "Ceramic Sealant" other than it only lasts about a paltry 3 - 4 weeks. How long does their Ceramic Wax last?

Canadian Tire purchased the trademark years ago for Canada. They use it as a private label for auto detailing products in Canada (incl. pressure washers and polishers). There is no association with the US Simoniz company (only the brand name is the same). Of all the Canadian Tire Simoniz products, I only use the leather conditioner (use it on boots and an ottoman). It is pretty good value.
