Apex Detail Hi Brian. I was truly very happy to see this product review. Everyone is reviewing HD speed, Megs 105. The same thing over and over. I purchased this several months ago and love the work time. Now I have a much better understanding how to use this product. I to would like to see turtle wax turn it up a notch and see a pro line. But at retail prices. Great job Brian keep finding these diamonds in the rough that are hidden from normal site. And as always X0x0 hugs to your wonderful dog 🐕. Just tried Best of show detailer and I love it..
I bought a polisher (Harbor Freight) and a few pads, but have never attempted to polish any of our cars. This video convinced me to give it a try, and now I know which compound I'm going to use. You are the "Consumer Reports" of auto detailing. Your videos are extremely enlightening and helpful. Thank you!
I picked this up a few months ago at Walmart for a lawnmower.. I didn't want to use my good stuff.. I was very surprised at how well it worked... when i was done polishing it I used Seal and shine..😃
Very impressive especially for the price of $11. Always appreciate honest reviews. Also thanks for the Instagram pics of the vette the car looks stunning!
I just started using the Turtle Wax Ice spray on wax (red label), I don't what the hell that company did recently, but what ever they did they came up with some big time winning products.
I've said this before....your product comparison and detailing videos are some of the best out there. Non biased...fantastic presentation...and delivery from start to finish that is very well organized along the way. Looking forward to more videos as always!
Brian, you are a very inspiring master detailer. I have been doing detailing for the past 12 years you amaze me every time you do a new video. You are very passionate and professional. Tk’s !
I will say for all the joking about Turtle Wax I have heard since diving deeper into detailing and starting my business about 3 years ago, they are really putting some decent stuff out there. I just tested the Shine and Seal spray on my wife’s RAV4. I applied it three weeks ago and it it’s still holding up amazing. I haven’t had to wash it yet because it seems to be keeping the paint cleaner. I am impressed with Turtle Wax, and can now say I’m open to trying their newer products. I may buy a bottle of this for enhancements and small scratch removal.
Turtle Wax is definitely changing the game....or should have an impact in the foreseeable future. I see price drops from most of the well known companies coming. This is a good thing! 💯
Whenever i see new products i watch apex first. I was literally watching this review at handyman before i picked it up when you say thumbs up then i bought it.
TW has finally entered the 21st Century. Their ICE spray waxes are great and now their compound seems to be perfect for the weekend warrior. Hope they expand their line up even more. Prices are much better than the competition.
Oh this is the stuff with the hose off removal commercial! Niiiice.. I was *first* ☝️ which makes me important in some way.. Thanks Brian! It would be a lot of fun to see you put this up against Meguiars Ultimate Compound! Maybe even throw the standard TW compound in there too. 👍👌✌ Looks like a significant improvement over their regular compound. Not bad at all for an inexpensive retail product. If it truly doesn't stain, it could really come in handy spot polishing around rubber or plastic trim in a hurry without needing to tape it. I'm guessing they might've prioritized the water rinse removal ability over standard dry wipe off?
Thanks for all of the hard work you do. This looks like a great diy product for the driveway/weekend detail. Is this a DAT or SMAT product? Theoretically could use this around the whole car and then wash it off before your LSP maybe even on a hot day? I could see that being a real timesaver.
do you work on Boats ,or could you show some Gel Coat cutting products , but i am guessing its going to be hard to find a panel of fiberglass laying around , :)
Great thorough video as always! You make removing your sanding marks look so easy with damn near every compound. I’m not able to get mine out and I’ve tried everything suggested. Anyways, again, great video.
Almost all Poorboy's world products are made to work in full sun and on hot panels. I like their SSR1, SSR2, EX-P, and Black Hole showcar glaze will absolutely rock your world.
I find it interesting that it has sodium lauryl sulfate in the formula like car wash soaps and skin care stuff, it's nasty stuff is your skin is exposed to it for too long. Strange that no other ingredients are listed on the safety data sheet. it probably has cheap solvents in it and off the shelf abrasives like how almost every company does it but hey I'm glad your giving it a go for us to see. I like that it's runny like the polish I use is
It's still recommended that you clay bar the surface. The clay bar removes the unwanted elements off the surface. The compund removes the swirl marks and scratches after the clay bar. The Sealant seals the paint. The wax makes the surface shiny, deep gloss, and also repels moisture, and easy removal of dirt, saps, and bugs. The mouse makes it "click & Pay Now".
@@jusb1066 thanks man... yeah that's what it looking like... After seeing how ceramics perform though, seems to me it's a better option in the long run.
I saw your TW and Meguiars test; I can easily get the Meguiars Ultimate compound, but was sadden to find out from TW that their Ice Speed Compound isn’t available anymore. Any word as to why?
Would you recommend using some polish after turtle wax speed compound? Or considering this is less abrasive than other compounds, is using this product alone enough??
Brilliant - thanks Brian. Picked some up recently in Oz at a good $ but couldn't find any feedback. Thought it perfect for our heat here so you certainly showed it had working longevity. Would you just follow it up with a 🐢 Cleaner Carnauba Wax or Final Wax Coat or both? ( As an example) brand may change but I like to keep manufacturers together.
Hey maybe you should test some of those car guys products on Amazon. They have ton of reviews, I'm pretty sure they're cheaply made generic products but putting them against a comparison with couple other products could be nice to see.
I ordered the super clean and hybrid spray wax. While waiting for it, I read that all the reviews were fake and it was just a marketing ploy. Well I liked both and ordered a gallon of the spray wax when it was on sale.
Brian, Isn't the Eurofiber pad a little too aggressive for finishing? Also, did you actually try to wash it off of plastic trim? That would be a huge benefit if you didn't have to tape everything before polishing.
Im really curious on your thoughts on turtlewax as awhole with it being a brand you can get anywhere you look. Also as far as bang for your buck how does the brand hold up compared to the other brands you cant get at any store you walk into
No matter what Turtle Wax product that I’ve used, I find them too difficult to remove compared to other products. Maybe if they could work on that aspect, they would probably have a winner.
All compounds and polishes work the same on cheap acrylic paint sprayed in your garage , you wont get rid of all sand marks and swirls , you may as well use the cheapest stuff
Turtle Wax is shifting into high gear! I would love to see a TRUE professional line next!
So would you put this over Megs Ultimate Compound?
B...you should consult them on a good Pro line of products. I would grab all of them in that case.
I second that James!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

TW compound vs. Meguiars Ultimate compound would get a lot of views!!
Love your thorough testing of OTC products from a professional standard, great job.

MNpicker same here. I use Meg’s wash plus and then SNS for my mower
I don’t have a mower but I have a garden. Will it work on him?
I find that Meg's wash plus being harder to find.
Glad I have a new bottle that should last me a long time.

This actually looks pretty awesome. What sells me is the fact it rinses off. Definitely going to give this a try!
Turtle wax is really starting to impress me these days, great video, rinsing off is a game changer for me
I actually keep the foam cannon on hand after compounding. This will change the game.
@No Name you don't need to wax once this is on
Wow, those gloss numbers too!

I have not found anything better than Meguiars Swirl X.

Turtle wax is absolutely destroying the competition I love it
That first test was a good fair one..Thanks..
Love their Black Ice detailing spray on my Tuxedo Black paint, best pop I've ever had!
Absolutely love the black ice wax !
Have to say TW is a hit for taking care of our vehicles in the Arizona summer heat!
dj 91 agree! Born and raised
That stuff seems to do work! Thanks!
Just your Corvette shows your intelligence thank you sir and I have always loved turtle wax products !
Great job again 👏 , dose it removes water spots from paint and headlights ?
It has the ability to...yes.
Great vid. This product looks like it will simplify the detail I'm preparing to do on my daily driver.
Yet another great video Brian. When or how do you decide to use a 50/50 pad vs a orange polishing pad for corrections?
It is personal Preference...but will reach for them first.

All they are missing is a high gloss product and its game over.
Try the TW Hybrid Ceramic Polish & Wax
Great video Brian as always, best detailing videos on RUclips. I just subscribed.
Welcome to the family!
great product review good friend. actually it surprised me as well.at that price point will do wonders 4 paint enchantments and exfoliate
Nice demonstration sir
i will definitely going to try it, thanks 👍
I wonder how it compares to Maguire Ultimate line
Are there others you can use in the sun? It seems like I have all my free time when its blaring sun or raining!

Hi Brian! If you would go to vacation from Europe to the States. What are you currently five must-buy-products you can't get only in the states????
3D ONE, 3D ACA 500, any SB3 Coating, Xtreme Solutions Poly Seal, TAC Moonlight
Picked up a bottle at Rural King today for $6. Was excited to get it for that price!
Turtle Wax🐢 does it again👍 Turtle Power🐢💪 TW has some very impressive products & at a great price💲💲
Why even wipe off the residue when you can rinse it off? Just came to mind.
You should compare this to the turtle wax chrome cleaner.
Yet again another great video Brian? Did TW get a new owner a few years back? Looks like their products fabulous!
Good question🙂
After using this compound, I plan to use Sonax BSD as a sealant. Can I still wax the car after applying BSD or should I wax first
I would use Sonax first, then wax 👍🏼 but the combo of Turtle wax Ice seal n shine then Ice spray wax is amazing
Thank you for a great service.. I was just wondering how long has this product been on the market?
No need to clay bar the car before applying this compound? I can go ahead with this first? Great review.

The Sealant seals the paint. The wax makes the surface shiny, deep gloss, and also repels moisture, and easy removal of dirt, saps, and bugs. The mouse makes it "click & Pay Now".
Besides polishing, what's the best way to remove TW seal and shine? I want to apply a ceramic coating.
Nothing, abrasive polish only
@@jusb1066 thanks man... yeah that's what it looking like... After seeing how ceramics perform though, seems to me it's a better option in the long run.
@@johnnyringo4463 yes, but s&s cheap, easy as detail spray, quick top up after a wash, but enjoy man, whichever you like to do

Could this be used, than say a glaze or wax, than the seal an shine spray?
No this has no protection, just a polishing

@@AR_ZACK91 yes that's exactly what you'd do, waxing vwill be super easy on a shiny compounded surface

Did the gloss reading stay after being rinsed!?!?!?
Yes....no fillers
Apex Detail 👌🏼
Repeat after me, my name is Brian and I have a compound testing problem, hello Brian!
KD0LRG - QSL
Great and informative video..........thanks!!
How would this fare against 3D Speed? I would imagine that is on par as far as applying in full sunlight.
This here has no protection.
This vs meguiars solo for a one step? I have heard you say that you really love meguiars solo.
Brian, Isn't the Eurofiber pad a little too aggressive for finishing? Also, did you actually try to wash it off of plastic trim? That would be a huge benefit if you didn't have to tape everything before polishing.
It finishes surprisingly well....esp on moderate to hard clear. Only on soft clear do I need to switch pads.
Do you have a good source for insurance for someone just starting a mobile detailing business?
That is regional....varies greatly.
After a certain number of videos of compound series maybe will be great an update video of top 5 cutting or something like that, i guess
Pretty cool. TW keeping it real!
can the ice speed compound be use on some chrome parts of the car?
Do we need to polish after this or is this an all in one?
Well, that made me hit the Subscribe button. Great review.
With that big of a jump in gloss, Im skeptical of there being fillers. Hopefully not, but definitely worth looking into
No fillers....even after panel prep.
Apex Detail love it!
This is cool I was really disappointed when they discontinued thier liquid clay bar
is it ok for bikes too?
on plastics
Brian, would this product work with a rotary to do a quick minor correction and surface improvement? If using a rotary, which pad type?
Absolutely...White foam polish pad.
Can this be used by hand?
Great video, Brian. Because its easily washed off, would you recommend washing it off with soap or water or is it still better to use an ipa wipe?
Out of habit.....I still do both.
Brian what corvette is that always in your garage ? What year and trim ? It looks stunning !
Eurospeed The Black C6? It's a ZR1.
What year ?
Looks like a Centennial Ed., so 2012.
13' ZR1
Damn pretty impressive though!
Have u ever tested any Nano shock products, love the vids
Yes... Great product line.
You didn't shake the turtle compound 12:42 😳🤔
I guess Turtle Wax is wanting to be top dog:)
Tw Never went anywhere , channels only reviewed freebies boutique products, and now are shown to be shilling and not reviewing
Just curious, is this a paid promotion??
An excellent video without all the B.S. .....
Do you know if it has fillers in it? Can it be waxed/sealed/coated immediately?
No...and yes.
Which meter you use?
Turtle wax has really steeped up their game for sure!
Nice video!
40k subs! 💪💪💪
Just getting started.
Why not do correct compound passestyicay three to 4 passes
