Hi, question if possible. Does a dry microfiber makes scratches what they say? and should you wash a net microfiber cloth before using it or does it not matter for scratches?
So dry microfibers can scratch. Doesn’t mean they will though. Is it a high quality plush microfiber? What are you using it with? Okay hat are you using it for? Many different variables that go into that
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Hi friend, it's a very soft plushy microfiber and it was new and I did not washed it before use, i just user it after spray the was and take the was off and am afraid now that it has mini scratches somewhere 😕
Soak the applicator in water and squeeze out the excess before applying and it will improve the application. Using this method works really well with the old formula, no streaks.
Agreed! I find using a damp square applicator vs. a towel gives a much more even application. Additionally, for removal I use a lightly dampened microfiber towel followed with a fluffy. I use this same app/removal for Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray and the FLEX Graphene Spray as well and find that it eliminates ANY streaking/high spotting AND frustration. Excellent results EVERY time...
Mr Lad thank you for the vid! I saw this at walmart yesterday but passed because no have a bottle of their hybrid solutions ceramic spray sealant, how would this compare?
@@platinumautoglasswindowtin88 Yeah I know...trying to keep everyone safe...hopefully we will find it online...I loved the original formula wotked for me, so i can't wait to try the new stuff.
great 2 cu again makn video again buddy. both new and old version of seal and shine r amazing.out lasts products that are over 40 bucks.this product is so dam tenacious.like getting gum off ur shoe.hope you and your family are doing well and stayn safe.
I think its slightly tacky feeling while trying to remove it is due to the overuse of the product on such a small panel. 1 to 2 sprays max per panel meaning half of the hood and in this video there were multiple sprays put onto the applicator pad just to apply to a much smaller section then what would be considered a panel. When i use the less is more approach i get no grippiness. Not as smooth as Hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating but still not bad at all. Great video though👍🏼
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip They said it in the interview with Pan, that the original formula had sio2 but they didnt say it because they didnt know if the market was ready for it.
Ceramic coatings. Not trying to be sarcastic but it seems currently TW is setting the trends and other companies are just following suit... What is your definition of “better” though?
I think Wolfgang, griots ceramic spray and ofcourse Fusso coat soft 99 will last longer then Seal n shine but i still go for seal n shine because you just can't beat it price wise. Just bought 2 bottles of seal n shine love it.
@@Kaiser187 gloss wise i don't think seal n shine will be a winner they both are too thick of a coating to give gloss. The newer formula does looks good i just used it on my car today and it feels smooth to the touch and looks glossy but if i need more gloss i top it of with the new ice spray wax from TW. Fusso and wolfgang are the slickest i've seen so far and i used products from meguires, griots, chemical guys, tw.
What the...!?!?!?! that spray-ON and rinse-OFF was nuts. I never knew.
Right! If you need a quick boost, it works perfect!
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip would it work if you never had a base coat of Seal&Shine on in the first place?
Not as well, but you’ll see some benefit…

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try that. I also had streaking problems.

That vs Technicians Choice?
I always allow any coat I apply to cure for 24 hours.

I think the new S&S is a bit easier to apply. I haven’t seen a difference in durability longevity speaking but S&S is better with chemical resistance
Hey love watching your videos👍...thanks for the review...keep up the great work😉😎...from Montreal, Canada🇨🇦
Thank you!!!
jacob lidstone we can't even drive to a local Walmart in the US to buy some. Stupid Government closed the border

I’d rather peel gum off of a shoe for sure! Haha
We are well thank you. Hope the same to you!

That’s good to know!
That even makes it easier to use then. I’m quite pleased with S&S!
Nice video Bro. Turtle wax be killing ittttt!!!
Agreed! Thanks!
Trying to find this out here in Canada. Amazon wants a left kidney for a bottle
I wouldn’t say it’s worth a left kidney. Maybe a gall bladder at most
That's fine, but what you gonna do when you need a second bottle?
@@mr.lad-detailingtricksntip Wal mart now has it. $13.99. I bought the Turtle wax Ceramic spray as well for $19.99.
Is it better than Turtle wax ceramic spray Coating?
Hybrid solutions claims to be longer lasting but this is easier to apply in my experience
It’s always had SIO2
I don’t remember reading that on the old bottles but could have slipped my memory

To me is one the best out there for the price do better the other products i have cost more i stay with seal and shine
What is better than this?
