    I’ve been a natural for about almost two years and I still forget to trim my ends. I definitely want to do better at scheduling my trims so I can have a better wash day.

    When I first went natural it was definitely trial and error. My sister which is a hair stylist taught me how to take care of my hair. Now my hair is healthy. I make sure I wash my hair every two weeks and condition as well as get my ends trim every 3 months. I don’t deep condition, but I want to lol just have to find a good deep conditioner that’s not too expensive lol. But I love your hair, it’s so healthy and beautiful! 😍😍

    I deep condition EVERY wash day, but in the winter I may only wash my hair every two weeks. I’m not big on protein treatments at all. They scare me! 😜I only get a professional trim every six months because when I go more often, my stylist always points out that I have no split or raggedy ends to trim. 🤞I love all of your encouraging content! Please keep it coming! THNX!🥰

    I’ve been natural(no heat) for 13 months. After 8 months I decided to go to the salon to get my hair straightened and girl I had to get so much hair cut off from not getting a trim. I was so upset so now I go to the salon at least every 3 months to see if trim is needed because I don’t want to make the same mistake. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ #curlconfession

    Girl I used to slick my hair up into a puff…EVERY DAY 😭😭😭 I also used to do wash and goes all the time but learned that my hair gets wayyy too tangled to do them often so I had to change my styling 😩 I blow out my hair more often now and that’s helped me to decrease all the tangling I get!

    I wore buns everyday for about 4 years and for the life of me I wonder where in the world did I get heat damage from lol the front of my hair was bone straight. Looked like a relaxer, and the very ends had a curl. I cut it all off and now I don't put my hair in buns. Not even in moderation lmbo because I don't want to get carried away🤣😂

    That multi-use conditioner seems like it saves time! I used to condition, then deep condition, then leave in…like I feel like just leaving that stuff in sort of acts like a deep conditioning treatment too? I’m def gonna be consistent with prepoos it just seems like it saves a lot of time in the shower and the prepping the hair before using hair tools makes less chances of ripping out hair

But I think I have 4a ,4b and I notice that certain sections of my hair aren't as defined as other parts and are frizzy when I put my curl cream in,do you have any advice?

    Yes, I am scared of using full-blown protein treatments, I'm afraid when I go to wash my hair, my hair is just going to break off 😂 so I incorporate products with protein or protein-infused products. Loved your results☺

      I would say try taliah waajid curly curly cream along with the apple and alone leave in. I have been using those 2 for years and my hair loves it . You can use eco gel ( the green) one for a light hold.

  • @Mixed.ish_Chr1stLover
    @Mixed.ish_Chr1stLover 2 года назад +10

    Curlsmith is pricey but I’ve been wanting to try them for a while! This may be my hint 😂. Curls turned out great as always😍❤️. Would you say the gel is a stronger hold then eco?

      @CaramelCoils  2 года назад +2

      Thanks friend ☺️ & I second what Ja'Monet said! You're getting quality products/ingredients & the only eco I'm really familiar with fr is the Olive Oil one and the CS gel has a much lighter hold

    • @curlynella1011
      @curlynella1011 2 года назад

      The curl smith isn’t that hard of a hold but I haven’t tried the shine gel yet. People love the in shower one but it was weak and I took it back. Honestly you can compare a natural gel to a artificial gel. But soultanicals frozen gel is said ri have a solid hold 💯

    The curls!! The definition!! I'm Obsessed!!!! 🤩🤩
    I have a question though: what's the difference between a deep conditioner, prepoo and a clay mask?
    And how often should I apply them in my hair?
    Thanks 😊 great video as always!

    • @hassana7100
      @hassana7100 2 года назад +4

      A preepoo is something you do before (pre) you shampoo (poo). An oil treatment or a conditioning treatment or a store bought prepoo can be used. A deep conditioner usually has “treatment” “mask” or “deep conditioner” on it. After shampooing and conditioning. A clay mask can be used as both.

    • @CaramelCoils
      @CaramelCoils  2 года назад +3

      Prepoo like Hassana said can be either an oil or conditioning treatment used before you shampoo. Most people use it to prevent their hair from being stripped but also to prevent it from getting more matted after shampooing. You can use it as often as you want! Some use it every wash day, others only use it when they've neglected their hair.
      A deep conditioner is gonna give you an extra boost of moisture, penetrate your strands deeper than a regular conditioner and overall just make your hair more manageable.
      Clay mask isn't gonna give you moisture, instead it's supposed to detox your strands. It also encourages curl definition!
