You should look up damp hair and dandruff. Damp hair is the perfect environment for the fungus that causes dandruff and the bonnet/ conditioning cap also traps in moisture. Hope that helps!

Yep used to sleep with hot oil as well. My scalp would not stop itching. Bacteria grows in warm damp areas so the scalp creates the perfect environment if we wet it and then cover it

This combo is everything. I also love using a defining cream under aunt jackies flaxseed and it is 👌🏾 chef's kiss!
@@samberries22 im curious what curly cream you use? I’ve tried to use other leave in conditioners with them both but they end making flakes for me.
@sharnicaxd5321 I've used camille rose aloe whipped butter gel and it worked pretty well but didnt last very long. But the one that is a perfect combo for me was with the Taliah wajiid curl definer! For me they go together so well.

Did you keep the spray bottle warm or no?
for the most part, yes. but if I am just applying it to just my scalp, then it doesn’t matter the temperature for me.

Hey Sis, for a wash & go use water, leave in conditioner, Jerry curl activator,Xstream wetline gel, & a denman brush. Finger coil very small strands! The curls be poppin! I gotcha hair type

PLEASE try a wash and go. Please! I've been really wanting to see people with similar texture and length as me, rocking their hair TRULY as it is. There's just something about seeing a pretty girl in that hairstyle and still considering them beautiful, that just gives me immense confidence in my natural hair 😂
I've been really trying to push myself out of the habit of thinking that I NEED to put my hair in a twist out/braid out or some kinda stretching mechanism in order to look "acceptable" to go out. I feel like this is why we black people always think white folks with their straight hair always have it easier😂
My washday would actually cut down so much if I just stopped after moisturizing and detangling.

In your video you stated that you’ve never had a successful wash-n-go. May I suggest you try The Doux’s Big Poppa gel and/or Mousse Def foam paired with a demon brush.

I love this!! I usually go to bed with my hair damp with leave-in but I heard it’s not good for your hair or scalp to be in a damp environment overnight. Should I sit under the dryer before bed?
i was hearing the same thing! definitely try going under the dryer to avoid going to bed with wet hair. 💗

Hi Garshell! First let me just SAY YOUR HAIR IS BEAUTIFULLLLLLL!!!! GREAT VIDEO!!! If you had to guess (I know you let your spirit guide you 😊) would you say that you put 1/2 a cup of each of the oils or 1 cup of each (olive oil, grapeseed oil, and castor oil (straight from Haiti YES!)

I use rosemary in a bottle with fenugreek and I started to add aloe vera powder. I don’t boil the water tho. I just let it sit. And the water still changes color.

Are wash and gos still a protective hairstyle for growth and length retention despite constantly using your fingers to lightly pull your hair to make it bigger daily? And/ or remoisturiziny every 3 days which requires finger detangling?
for me personally, wash n go’s are not a “protective” style or a style that i use for hair growth. a “protective” style for me is a style that keeps my ends tucked away from breaking. (mini twists)
as far as moisturizing every three days, keep looking to try and find what works best for you for moisturizing your hair. every three days isn’t bad, but you want to try to go for every week. I hope this helped. 💗
