And that's some people don't like. Her voice colour is light while Tarja's was dark. Sometimes she sounds like a 16 years old. I do like this album and Anette's songs very much. Her voice is perfect to "Slow Love Slow", "Turn Loose The Mermaids" or "Amaranth" from DPP for example.
Very cool to hear this. Imaginearum is probably the best produced album I have ever heard, with all the orchestra and childs choirs. It sounds so amazing! nice to hear a more raw version of the song (that still sounds great btw)
I like this version almost as much as the one on the album. I think Annette would have had a longer career with Nightwish if they at least would have played the older songs more in Annette's voice range.
I honsetly got a feeling like here Anette's voice sounds better than on the album version. Like... on the album is too much processed or something. Love both of them though xd

I'm not quite sure why you expected this demo to be sung primarily by Marco when Anette is the lead vocalist. In Dark passion Play it was obvious that they had to record the demos before hiring a new singer, so Marco's vocals had to be used, but they'd have no reason to use Marco's vocals when they now have Anette. Having said that, I would have liked to hear at least one song on Imaginaerum where Marco's vocals were the focus (like The Islander or Master Passion Greed). Oh well.
This is refreshing indeed! however, i prefer the album version. if i were to say something, that would be about Anette, i fucking miss her, she had charisma (even if it doesn't look very metalhead-istic); Floor is nice and everything, but i got used to Anette, and i liked her more than Tarja (no matter i like classical singing better... Anette HAS GOT something... that's it). ...I would like listening Scaretale demo; probably an impossible though.
I will miss Annette like hell, she was a great singer, also this song sounds in many parts better than the album version, like when Annette screams "Yeahhhh!!"
It's sad how some people can't tell the difference, right? I like this one too. They should have kept marko in the lower octave, it makes it sound a little meaner.
Just awesome although the album version is beautiful ist great I think this is the better version such a great band like this dont need an orchestra to create master pieces, but of course that is just my opinion ;)
if only I could find a good audio version of Floor singing live...she's always drowned out by either Marco or the crowd, can't get an honest opinion, but I do like her ReVamp stuff

Which is perfect for this fairytale-like type of songs.

I listen to pop music too... and she is not a pop singer... she is rock voice ! She's great! Love Anette!!!

That's Marco, Toumas said once that he probably won't sing again in Nightwish, he prefers to stick to the keyboards and leave the male voices to Marco
