I can’t stop listening to this masterpiece. I honestly don’t understand classical musicians who think that all heavy metal is trash. Nightwish always calm me down and makes me feel better!
Heayv metal is literally the closest relative of classical music, cant imagine someone from that genre dissing on metal.
Which classical musicians? Or it's just what you thought how classical musicians must think? Stereotype much.
Conrad Phạm I’ve met some who told me that they hate metal and they only like classical music. I’m glad there’s some who like metal.
UltimateMoralizer They probably haven't heard Nightwish or other symphonic metal bands, then, because they mix classical elements with metal. Not to mention, Tuomas studied classical music before forming Nightwish, and incorporates some of those elements.

the key change in this song is fascinating to me. i've never really thought about doing a key change in the middle of a phrase but it's so dramatic
Since the first time I heard this, the key change you speak of always destroys me (in a good way). It's just so unique and musically powerful.

Maybe the most glorious key change in the history of music. I think the musicians are playing a bit with our minds... First suggesting a more standard build-up by the addition of drums at 3:56, and then only four seconds later a key change coming right at the moment when you are least expecting it, and completely nonstandard!
I really wish I had learned ten or more years ago that metal could be like this. So incredible.

I did, oh so many times. I hear and feel this song every time I come across it and I am so glad that someone shares this view with me.
After a rather sever stroke a year ago, I use Nightwish to soften my struggles. A quick playing of Nightwish tends to calm me down and relax even most difficult times

It's a very beautiful song, and it sits well where its at without being a ballad or rocking out too heavily.
would say he managed to get her to sing in different tones than we got used to when we heard her in After Forever. her voice sounds way more dynamic, relatable, and still operatic and epic when needed, like in prev Nightwish songs when they play live

3:58 when they change the modulation in the middle of the chorus and blast the chorus in its full glory is so satisfying to listen to. Because of that I got interested in "new" nightwish after Tarja left the band. This nuance is just ingenious and something I've never heard. You gotta love nightwish.

There is no other band that can keep this level of lyrics in every single song, sure every band has some good ones but in nightwish's case, that's the rule and not the exception. I would go as far to say that Nightwish are artistic revolionists, at least as far as their lyrics go.

Ever since I found Ghost Love Score about a month ago and FELL IN LOVE with Floor Jansen! Now I am n this beautiful journey of discovering through all their music albums

Really, this album is a Masterpiece, like all Nightwish albums, can't undertand how there are people that don't like it
