I really wish this ended with the sound of the music box from Taikatalvi slowing down.
It took me way too long to realize this is basically a culmination of all of the songs on the album. I'm not very bright sometimes...

Including every song in this epic album outro shows that nobody is left behind, that after the long and exciting journey, everyone will have contributed with something beautiful and unique
This album as a whole is a real masterpiecie. It left me in kind of shock after I went through it.
This track... This is a masterpiece that belongs in that revered zone previously reserved for the likes of Bohemian Rhapsody, the Star Wars theme, and The Wall. Stunning.

Is there a theme park for NIGHTWISH? Dreaming of an amusement park name Imaginaerum and hear nightwish songs being played everywhere. A magical night where our wishes can come true. Meeting Tuomas and learn piano from him would be my dream. And meet all the band members and tell how much I love NW and how I grew up with them. Just a child on his 3 listening to metal and grew up with it. Was only NW in my head. ALl the members and all who made NW possible was the happiest day in my life and there wont be any band like NW. Thx universe for giving us this band! Blessing. And Thx Tuomas for being a god! a Genius and a magician! Keep doing tricks and more songs I wanna hear everything u come up with. Like a tale, a story of your imagination.
I so hope t hat after the upcoming album , number 3 of Tuomas ‘eco trip’ Tuomas can go back to give us another imaginaerum.
I just got done listening to this entire album for the first time on a RUclips playlist. What a beautiful journey it was.
I got the CD in the mail from Finland the day before its official release--they had apparently sent them early to people who wanted it in the States and ordered before the official release here. Ten years later, it's still as amazing as it was then.

What a beautiful conclusion to an incredible album
The fact that this whole album was inspired by the movie itself is truly something and will always be the truest pinnacle of Marco's time with the band before his retirement as the greatest bass player of all time. Fair thee well Marco, your music will always be remembered.
Listening to this song was such a nice experience. Happy ending of an amazing story. I was quietly singing the rest of the songs from this album while listening. I was feeling them all at the same time.

A lot of this reminds me of Danny Elfman. Love it. Love Nightwish. I would give anything if they'd do a live performance with a full orchestra.

Hi there! Does anyone know whether they made a full orchestral version with the part 0.47-0.58? I know it's taken from the first song "Taikatalvi" but already there it's only bits and not really orchestral (and in "Imaginaerum" it's orchestral but too short! Same with "Find Your Story" from the movie's soundtrack: perfectly orchestrated but just bits... Frustrating when you listen, feel the energy rising, and then big let down... T_T)
There is an official album version with every song just perfomed by orchestra, its really awesome

Funny i didnt know that.. for myself i tought of it as the name of an slightly dark themepark and you sit in a rollercoaster trough the whole journey...perhaps because of the album cover idk.. :D
@@sharktoothjack8854 Originally they were gonna call the album "Imaginarium" however they changed it to "Imaginaerum" to avoid any copyright infrigments and confusion with a hundreds thousand things called "Imaginarium" in the world
-arium or -orium are suffixes that means a place for something, so you can pretty much put anything, aquarium (a place for water and aquatic life), auditorium (a place for listening to things), emporium (a place for travelling merchants), solarium (a place to get sunlight). The TV show Community had Dreamatorium (same meaning as imaginarium).

Imaginaerum is certainly the best album from Nightwish - its a masterpiece.
A big part of its success is down to Annette and her interpretation of the songs - she is the master of interpretation - she brings the lyrics to life.
The only track that Floor does better is Last Ride of the Day - this is "Big Music" - Floor excels in the dramatic big songs - especially in live performance.
Tuomas moved on after Annette left and adapted to Floor's big song style.
Tuomas now has another outlet for his softer side with Johanna and Troy - Auri - Johanna also has the same ability of interpretation as Annette - happy days!
