Mine got BRICKED because if you want to update the firmware, there are 2 separate firmwares and, no kidding, if you update them on the wrong order your controller is totaled, Gulikit support could not help me at all. Other than that, it has all the switch pro controller functions and has the same shape as the best shaped controller, so it has that
@@MrSujano There are warnings on the instructions, but it's poorly worded and once you glance at it and understand one firmware it's a simple updater app and the other is a drag and drop file, you kinda skip it
@@ddga113 the process is as follows: FIRST download the drag and drop NS09 V3.9 firmware, turn your controller off then connect it to your PC via the USB-C cable. next press the APG Button (the lowest button with the two squares) and the A button at the same time to open the internal storage of the controller. next drag ONLY the ns09 file into the folder of your controller and let it do it's thing, it will close when it's done. test if your controller is working so far and NEXT download the CPU1 v1.12 Firmware and unzip it in it's own folder. pull out the cable and make sure your controller is off again, then plug it in again using your USB-C cable. click on the Updater .exe file and wait for the Programm to open. This time press the set. button (the one with the gear on it in the middle) and the A button at the same time and the update button should become clickable. click on it and wait for it to finish. after that you can unplug, restart and reconnect your controller. Congratz you have now safely updated your controller. Note: I tested it on the King Kong 2 Pro NS09 Version of the controller and can confirm that my controller is still fully functional. Cheers!

I think long-term reliability, relating to design, and/or quality control may be an issue with this controller. We just got this controller a few days ago, and initially it worked, but after playing Mario Kart on the Switch for under two hours the ZR trigger switch started to fail to register, and started to physically stick. We are two adult gamers in a no kid household, and it was babied, recalibrated, and the latest NS09 V4.0 firmware update was applied. I recommend a longer term test, or testing an anonymously purchased product that isn't a review sample, for a more relevant review for consumers.

@@MrSujano Update:I am really really wanting to like this controller, with it's Hall effect sensors, and great controller precision and but after receiving a new advanced replacement for the other controller with the stuck ZR trigger, and attempting to set it up, the controller will not pair to our Nintendo Switch, by either using the wireless or wired methods. Right now I"m on the fence between just returning the controller for a refund, or reaching out to their email support and requesting a new unit that might be part of a better production batch. The spread of one and two star Amazon reviews also looks disproportionately high for a product that has good QA or design, and many of these bad reviews are recent.
Update to the update: I was eventually able to pair the controller wirelessly in the control grips menu section. I think it was in some sort of weird state before. I cycled through ll the controller modes and then was able to pair it with the Nintendo Switch. The unit was on the current firmware version v4.0 when I was experiencing these pairing issues.
Having been building & flying drones, I know the difference hall effect sensors make in my RC transmitters. So to see them in a gamepad... man... TAKE MY MONEY, RIGHT NOW!
The soft touch plastic worries me. Soft touch plastic melts overtime. I've had a gaming mouse that it's soft touch coating melt and it was a pain to clean it. And it was gross touching it.

I got one yesterday and it's a great controller. However after 4 hours + of playing I noticed it gets dirty quickly from your hands. I got sweaty hands btw. What about repairability/availability of spare parts ? I know it says drift-free advertised but technically speaking there is no such thing, correct ? Maybe this will last longer than the rest but not drift-free. Everything will drift eventually. Like xbox360 pads, there are a lot of spare parts online , therefore if you break it and want to attempt repair it is doable. What about the kingkong pad ?
I bought this one which arrived today. I am also contemplating about buying XB or DS controllers over this one. But with the tech of this controller which are removable/replaceable hall sticks, replaceable buttons, it becomes my top choice.
...but you didn't mention why someone would want to buy the Switch Pro controller over this controller. It seems to me like it has benefits over the Switch with no extra downsides for the same price. I already own a Switch Pro controller, and I have only managed to get it to work on my Switch. I can't get it to work on my PC at all, and I tried my best. The ability to switch input modes from Xinput to Switch really peaked my interest. The Switch Pro controller doesn't have that at all.
I just got this controller as an Xmas present and although it's a good controller... The Brooke Xbox Adapter SE on my Elite 2 controller is a way better combo IMO. The Elite 2 is a much better build off the bat and the adapter can be switched to another controller if the original dies, unlike the KingKong2 if it dies you have to purchase another complete controller. The only thing I see as a pro for the KingKong2 are the hall effect sticks but so far I've had no problems with drift on the Elite 2.
Since it’s supposed to work for iOS I want to see someone use it on one of their devices. Also does any phone grip fit on it. Really didn’t want to have to buy ANOTHER controller but the Fusion Pro Wireless won’t connect to my phone. And they should go back to the hard zipper case. The plastic one looks terrible. The face buttons should be hot swap too. Hopefully they got rid of the burs on the stick caps that make the sticks get stuck.

it looks nice, i like soft-touch plastic, and Nintendo REALLY dropped the ball on the Switch Pro's D-pad. you ever try to play a platformer or Tetris with that thing? nonstop bad inputs! it's impossible. That said, my 8bitdo controller has been serving me fine and I think it's less expensive than this, and they make some great colorways.
How's the Rumble of this controller while using it with Nintendo Switch? Is it noticeable or can you feel the rumble? I asked because I have a different 3rd party pro controller for switch that have rumble motors, but its Rumble is super weak sometimes I cant notice it while playing games on the Switch.
English user manuals from Chinese companies are often poorly worded/translated and not reviewed, so you end up with broken English. In certain instructions where steps are sensitive and must be precise, this becomes a problem. The firmware update method is poor. A dedicated app is always better for controllers.
I just got this controller and I really got to say When finding a Gyro Nintendo Switch pro with Analog Triggers I jumped for it right away!!. I am an (All Out Racing Gamer!).. Mx-Bikes really is a sensitive throttle game and Forza Horizon 4 and 5 racing game. Took me a while to find where the APG button is. I seen it's the vary bottom button that looks like Minimize and Maximize description. And I thought the Windows Mode was the first lit, light up mode light with the D under the description but I found out it's the second to last (3rd), The one next to last. When I seen under my windows 11, under Devices and Printers, it comes up as Xbox 360 Controller and Under it's properties ..When I seen the Slider Triger bars I was happy. I have not tried Mx-Bikes yet because that game really is a vary sensitive Throttle Trigger and Tires can spin a lot in Forza Horizon 4 and 5 game.
I bought this bad boy and it is indeed a very solid alternative to the Pro controller. However, keep in mind that it isn’t optimized to work with many emulators.

I think so too and his distance to the tv. I am using this controller with my pc bluetooth and any input delay is hardly noticeable.

Hello Mr Sujano, can you test this kingkong 2 pro on Dolphin emulator, if it can map the right analog stick correctly please, because mine can only map +14axis and +11axis, ill wait for your response..
