Love these guys. Their show was never missed. Saw them 2 times and they were great. It was my 2 year old daughter's first concert. Wish they were still around.
@@jessicaallen901 Thanks. I heard he was originally with Danny and the Juniors. How did he feel about these younger guys (meaning Sha Na Na) mocking his generation's music?
I always maintained that not only was Lennie one of the best sax men out there, but his voice was fantastic. He could handle ballads like this, or more up- tempo songs. Never missed a note.
He get this axe in there once in awhile saxophone was rock and roll all the band ADAM because it came out of the big band then the guitar players learned I think the first one was Bill Haley & the Comets here's guitar player
You must have read wrong. Jimmie didn't do nothing. SHA NA NA wasn't in Woodstock. A group that based off of SHA NA NA with the same name was in Woodstock 2.
If Sha Na Na dumped everyone on that stage who didn't play an instrument they would have had themselves a heck of a band. Too much dead wood crowding that stage.
Once again, I am ENJOYING every minute. I am from Finland, so my English is this and that..
This is by far one of the best quality clips of SNN I've seen. SNN always gives 110%. Loved the show and I still love them.
Probably because this isn't from their show.
Best then ...still the best....now
I could listen to these guys all day and night....those songs were the greatest
You are correct of course!
Once again, I am joining every minute.

They are, but there are only about three original members left: Screaming Scott, Jocko, and Donny.
I saw a few videos of Santini, Johnny, and Denny wearing dark blue 'spandex' with black trim. Those were classy looking.
Great performance!
they need to come back on tv
greatest group around keep it comeing
Always a top-shelf act.
This is so cool thanks for posting. I never knew this existed. I'm a close friend if Lennie bakers and I love anything shared to remember him by ❤
Can you please provide some insight into the enigma that was Lenny?
@@enricosanchez894 just saw this comment now. What would you like to know? I will answer within reason 😊

I love it Good job
This is the line up I remember
They were incredible!!!
cuanto talento junto
Gosto muito de ouvir estás música muito legal 🤩
Sing it Lenny!
Great sax
The silver outfits look better, IMO.----------This is great !
I think they put the gold suits in the washer then added some bleach and they came out silver.🙃🤪
Great performance! But why the laugh track?
What TV show was this from? The quality of the video is great. The TV laugh track is annoying
This was "Dick Van Dyke & Company" It was cancelled after 12 episodes, this was from episode 12.

Scott. Shadowens. Sha. na. na
💗
Why does Screaming Scott have a star on the seat of his pants?
Star on his star hole.
And I didn’t know until reading it in the threads , that it was Jimi Hendrix who liked them and got them into Woodstock

@@mary-annemueller9885 Hmmm I think you need to do some research but then again only trolls and Fox News pundits don’t bother with facts .
Hillary, take your meds. @@dagnabbit6187
They were at Woodstock and Jimi Hendrix did get them on the show. He also wanted them on just before he played on Monday Morning and they were....
@@CHUCKYDAPILL Thank you !
Thankfully Screaming Scott lost the mullet before they got their own show
Wrong ShANa Nana. @#BanYanTree
Only 2 in their SHA NA NA COSTUME. The other 3 is wearing silver and not their traditional color "GOLD".
Also looks like their rank rotten TV show in the early 80s. Last grasp at fame. Scott, Donny and Jocko are still at it.
Dude, it's called a career. A purveyor of decent nostalgia is something to be.
@@donnyyork2149 You took your time! I love 'live' music. You guys got me into it through one corny track, Top Forty.
👍👍👍
@@donnyyork2149 you guys did ( still do ) fantastic work. I know lennie told me he was glad he became a sha na na 😊❤
Their TV show was awesome, a feel good show, anything but rotten!

Their fantastic singing voices were their instruments.
