His name is Chris Robinson. His brother Rich on that red Gibson (lead guitar). They're from Georgia and their sound is enriched with southern blues, folk, funk, jazz and 70s rock. I've seen them live, such a great show. Chris has that bluesy rasp to his voice.
The Crowes were a breath of fresh air coming out if the Eighties in which we had to endure New.Wave and hair bands. They were a ramped up Rolling Stones and The Faces.
One of the best things about watching your videos is the joy you have in discovering new music. For me, it gives me a renewed in so many bands and songs. Keep up the great work!

What makes this track so good for me is the course rough and ready drive of the main instruments and vocals, backed up by the super smooth soul singers. A killer combination.
The lead singer has another band *Chris Robinson Brotherhood* that plays more of a 'hippie' style. I'd recommend *Let It Fall.* Think you might like it! Robinson definitely looks much more like a hippie now than he did when in the video you just watched; he's 30 years older (long hair and graying beard). Still a cutie pie though.

You can definitely hear the Rolling Stones influence in this song (aka "ITS ONLY ROCK 'N ROLL ). This is one damn fine band. The Black Crowes are a heck of a band. There is a song of theirs called "Sometimes Salvation" that i used to listen to over and over, I would leave it looping when i fell asleep at night. Needless to say, I hope you will react to "SOMETIMES SALVATION" by the BLACK CROWES. All their songs are great, others I hope you do are "JEALOUS AGAIN" and "TWICE AS HARD".
I knew she would love this one!! Saw them back in the early 90s and they were tossing joints into the crowd! 😂 I doubt they got away with that for too long, lol. They are one of my favorite bands to this day.

Also, only a few states has it legal for recreational use and the majority of the audience probably don't have a pharmacy card! If I remember right, they went to jail after several concerts on that 1st big tour. Their popularity certainly went up though! ✌❤

When this album first came out many of us thought we had a new Rolling Stones band… unfortunately drug use and in fighting between band members lead to them breaking up after only a few albums. Chris Robinson (lead singer) is an amazing frontman and the band is back together again.
A couple weeks ago...I started putting a quarter (25 cents) in a jar, every time Amber gets "thumped" in the head by those headphones. Looks like I will be able to put a new roof on the house by Spring. You guys rock! Fellow Okie.

I know you've done reactions to the first 3, but you need to hear Peter Frampton - please start with "Do You Feel Like We Do" and you'll want more - "Show Me The Way", "Baby I Love Your Way" - all from his legendary 1973 album "Frampton Comes Alive". ✌️ The talk box he uses will blow your mind!

She Talks To Angels and Thorn In My Pride are my two favorite Black Crowes songs.
I always felt his style was a mix of Robert Plant and Mick Jagger.
