When I knew that the original chair was blue, I then saw the chair in red, so i thought you'd bought the chair and just painted the fabric. I was stunned when I realised that your intention was to make the chair. I watched your video mostly with my mouth open. As for your upholstery work, I wouldn't waste your money on a class. There are many, probably 100's available on RUclips. So not only did you do a first time fantastic upholstery job. You MADE. A. CHAIR 😮 Personally? I think you're a genius, and you could do ANYTHING. You could build a house of your own design. You amaze me more and more every single time. How do I vote

This is so awesome! I lost my last pug baby this year. Our 1st boy hung out with us until he was 18 year, our 2nd we lost to cancer when he was 10 and our lil girl, we lost her just a few months ago, and we were lucky enough to have her until she was 17. Pugs are just the best dog breed. We will start a new generation but not until the right girl comes along and steals my heart again. You did Pandy proud!❤

I too would love to take an upholstery class, with that said (read: I’m no expert) I think you could create the curve of the wood by using a router to make a series of lines horizontally in a thick piece of wood, so it can bend in on itself. Obviously, your way worked, so whatever, but it may save you time. Fab challenge, too!

MY vote would go to Sarah at Vintage and Painted because she built a VERY PRACTICAL piece to address a need in her neighbourhood and help her neighbour help the local stray cats.
Velvet is actually very forgiving You just have to brush it..I made my mother a Vogue velvet gown for her 50th birthday.. She wore it to everyone event and dinner party for over 30 years. Never had to have it cleaned. Just brushed.
