Awesome job guys!! I've been thinking about trying a 100,000 step in one day challenge this spring. I just turned 63 and in pretty good shape. I did a lot of running in my 40`s and 50's but now I walk and bike. How old were you guys when you did this and what was your total step count?
Guys fantastic achievement, the mind is the biggest muscle ( it also helps to be in great shape )
I ran for 24 hours aged 56 , I m now in training for a 24 hour walk on April 17th aged 62 ! Ex forces like yourself , I hope I have your mental fortitude to complete this 👍👏👏👏👏👏
Please let me know how it goes. You got this!!!!
@@powerandpurity4524 hi mate , just finished , 24 hours ( 50 miles) wasn’t as bad as i expected, apart from some tendonitis in my knee ( my fault ) to much time on the stair climber lost 5 pounds in weight , despite loads of carbs and gels etc .
Walking like a man of 80 now ! 😂
I’m starting my walk challenge on December 31st at 6PM & will finish January 1st 6PM.
Stay in the moment and crush it!
Still doing it? Its a week and half away
@@juanpadilla1013 I have done it 2x so far.
ima do a 6 hour walk at some point next year. start at 11am (after lunch) end at 5pm (before dinner). might pick something up to eat on the walk lol
Wow!! way to start and finish! Great lesson on pushing through adversity and not quitting!
thanks my man! Hope you are doing well. We miss you!
Awesome job fellas!!!

Keep me posted!
@@powerandpurity4524 was great didn't pick the best day for it or the flattest terrain but it all worked out and I learnt some more for next time
.. I managed 73km in 12 hours. 💯💪😎
@@23takumi88 Nice work!!
I'm doing it tonight folks starting at midnight in the UK. My mate is doing it in Thailand at the same time. Wish me luck!!
Best decision you can make is to take on this challenge. Let me know how it goes. It will forever change your life.
How did you guys prepare for this also what was your nutrition like during the walk
Good effort but can't believe a navy seal wouldn't be prepared and not take a head torch for the night time 😂
Wait...is that a USF Bulls shirt? HORNS UP
Haha you know it!
@@powerandpurity4524 just did the 24 hr in SC. Back at USFSP now in their Veteran Success Office. You in FL? More importantly: are you on Thom's message boards?! We got one hell of an accountability talk going on there!
@@jinxieashforth I never noticed your reply. I am not on his message boards but would like to be. Are you still involved?
How long did it take you to recover from this?
I was over the soreness after 3 to 4 days, but I had developed a pretty nasty blister on one foot that took a couple of weeks to heal. Well worth the experience and I would highly recommend it.
Couple days
We love to suffer
I get to 2o km , (4to5hrs) for work , and the bones in my foot or tendons on top of my foot start to hurt really bad. I think it's from an old injury. Any tips in the comments would be much appreciated.
