0:37 clearly a leftover scene from the main game, and this was not fixed in the remaster

My guess is most of the Joe cutscenes were cut from the original and they just decided they would fit better in their own dlc.
Vito got 10 years in federal penitentiary while Joe skipping town to New Bordeaux for 5 years.
No one knew where Joe went really for those 5 years. The New Bordeaux gig would've happen after the ending of Mafia 2 where they both split off in the end where Joe becomes Leo Galante's driver while Vito assumed he was dead in Chicago where Joe went for protection but he got betrayed and beat him to death/cut off his hands as well. For those last 5 years Joe was working his way up with falcone family where he got to work with Carlo Falcone and brings Vito along.
Vito got 10 but got out after 6 years play the game bud
It would have been cool in Mafia III if you met an armsdealer or something who remembered Joe and mentioned him. He was down in the South for quite a long time.
Yea mafia 3 lacked references and Easter eggs, would be cool

@@Velocity1999 I know but some people till this day is so delusional that they think it’s Pepe and what’s funny even the devs confirmed it’s Joe there is Proof in internet, but still a reference would be fun and wake those people up they would be like huh has Joe been there .

@@MichaelGeorge161 they executed it so poorly I’m glad Joe is alive but they can’t explain it good, in the I need a favor side missions of Vito he got tricked Eddie was whacked in Chicago not Joe and it makes sense for Eddie to flee there he was born there and he lost his leader Falcone and they couldn’t even explain that, we just have to figure out ourselves! And reason how Joe survived? And what does Joe & Vito think of Henry and his deal after all hell they have been through? and why Leo choose to separate instead of killing one of them?, and where is Pepe? And what does Mr Chu think of this? What has Vito gone through first years without his home town and family, best friend? Is Joe the father of Lincoln? cuz father James said that the dad may be Italian. Why Vito was sent to a new city instead of Joe in the first place if Leo liked Vito more than Joe? They focused too much at fkn Lincoln he took all spotlight I know he is the main guy but even the other entry’s revolved at others too. the dlc’s should have 4 diff dlc. One about Burke, one about Vito, one about Cassandra I know no one cares about her but just make it, and one about Donovan, but back to topic they missed an opportunity to explain about Joe and Vito situation we didn’t ask to wait for many years to another cliffhanger and more questions and more mystery, we want answers. They kinda took away the powerful ending from mafia 2 itself tbh..
Antonio Balsamo is the best character in Joe's adventures for me
@@FNaFedits342well in some ways it’s good he can return for future titles but he will be very old in mafia 2 he looks 50 and he had an serious injury on one of his legs in chapter 14, that he may not be able to walk properly like he used to. But he is underrated, I wouldn’t even be mad if he was somehow main protagonist he cool asf, I think he survives he never was involved in the war, he always was clever to stay out of it or what we saw from that perspective. Don’t know why Tony balls and Enzo conti has some resemblance even though we just see one chapter of Enzo conti in mafia 3 they have sound the same.

Prob good point and it’s similar to Leo Galante he didn’t kill him either thanks to Vito and he listened to Vito cuz he sees him as a close friend, but that’s why he isn’t a rat he likes Joe and Vito and I think he had an excuse to Luca like I couldn’t find Joe in his apartment! Falcone set him up cuz he didn’t trust Henry in first place cuz in his mind he will always be one of the Clemente guys so when he saw a chance he took it. Or he knew guys would come after Joe and he was like a lookout outside his place and warned Joe if they come by his place or something cuz he also said guys are on their way.

SPOILER: What I don't understand is why Henry would save Joe? considering he's a CIA infiltrator. Was Henry's true friendship with the boys?
Good question
He doesn't want him to die. Whether that's because of genuine affection or out of principle, I don't know. Probably a bit of both.
I think he was not done with them, he wanted to finish the mob families like Clemente, Falcone and the chinese. Vito and Joe where the ones who could help him to get into the families like he ask Vito to get into the Falcone familie.
Henry owned a favour to Joe and Vito for saving him from the distillery when he got shot, so he warned Joe about what was coming.
Also he knew Vito and Joe could:
1) have jobs that need extra help
2) be an indirect source for information that includes the big bosses
3) vouch for him if needed
I do believe that friendship came later on.
