And this is probably why Leo separated Vito and Joe. They were unstoppable together. Leo cared for Vito enough to not kill Joe. But for the sake of the family, he had to do what he had to to make sure Vito does not link up with his best friend.
@@LofiDreamy999Yeah Leo knew that Vito and Joe staying together was way too dangerous, especially after the two of them nearly burned Empire Bay to the ground
Actually, no. He didn't work for the feds, he wasn't a rat, he was framed by Falcone. This was announced by Mafia 2 screenwriter Daniel Vavra on his Twitter, 7 years after the release of the game. He wrote "Henry was not the traitor, he was framed by Falcone."
@@Don_Komar Wish there was more info and a backstory on why Henry was framed, he was a great guy. Instead of Falcone, Leo and Wong saying he is a rat, could have given us more info on why and how he was framed
@@bushwhacker_420x4 Well, there are a lot of interesting moments, the same conversation between Henry and Leo. Henry could easily kill him, but they agreed on something. Most likely, Falcone found out about Tomasino's plans for a long time, and began spying on him (the same disguised policemen after our deal with the Chinese). As we know, Falcone himself wanted to sell drugs, so he eliminated competitors, which happened to Henry. He just started a rumor through his people in the drug bureau and away we go.
I always love how everybody during this chapter, Mr Wong, Bruno the loanshark, and these black gangsters (Bombers members maybe), all seem to know Henry by name when they greet him. Supposedly he's a 'small time nobody' according to Bruno. Yet he not only has the pull to set up these meetings, but they all know him on a first name basis.
@@mrtoocool7073 if henry was a rat it would be after the clemente family got wiped out. either he was a undercover operative sent to infiltrate the clemente family and he was given wide liberties to use whatever methods he saw fit to accomplish the mission (i.e. killing etc) because there was a clue when they were sent to kill fatso when vito was making small talk with henry and asked how was henrys english so good.
@@joeswanson733 Great explanation. I believe there's too many giveaways that show us Henry was not only a rat, but a full fledged undercover. He doesn't seem the type to make mistakes to lead him getting caught and be turned into a rat. If I recall they made quite a handsome amount of money from the deals. I’ll never understand why people want to take that poison but I certainly do understand why people sell it. There’s a lot of money in it.
To be honest they only released this so they could drop it with the Mafia 1 remake. A full fledged remake would take a long time like 5 to 6 years. And already their planning on making Mafia 4 so we’ll have to wait after that
