Sea Gift: Gangsters Vito, Joe and Henry Make a Deal with Chinese Triads (Mafia 2)

- Vito, Joe and Henry borrow $35,000 off a loan shark named Bruno Levine, who wants $55,000 in return. The trio meet with Mr. Wong, an enforcer for the Triads operating in Empire Bay's Chinatown, in order to use the money to make a large transaction of heroin, which they believe will sell for a tidy profit. Everything goes smoothly with the Triads, but when Vito, Joe and Henry are walking out some police stop them. Henry notices that they aren't real cops and a shootout erupts with the trio being chased by the fake cops and an unknown group of gangsters. Chapter 12: Sea Gift. Gameplay on Medium.
When the mission starts, wait for Vito's narration to end and pick up the phone. It's Henry whom wants you to come meet him and Joe at Lincoln Park. Get dressed and grab a 4-seat vehicle before heading down to the park.
Once there, park by the sidewalk and just follow the mission marker to Joe and Henry. After the cutscene's end, get in your car (note that it has to be a 4-seater) and drive to the loanshark. Stop by the mission marker and walk into the alleyway and up to the door. After coming out of Bruno's Office, head to the mission marker.
Once you get to the fish plant, follow the Chinese man greeting you to Mr. Wong. After the end of the cutscene that follows, just walk along with Joe and Henry until the next cutscene is triggered.
At this point a bunch of fake police officers will show up, armed with machine guns. After the end of the cutscene, run up the stairs and ignore the car speeding towards you - Joe'll take care of it. Next, run across the catwalk all the way to the door. Get in and stay away from the windows and run to the next door. Kick it in.
Now, you'll find yourself on the catwalk inside the plant's main building. Just lean over the boxes and pick as many enemies off as possible. When you can no longer fire at them without compromising your safety, run to the other end of the room by following the catwalk. Run down the ramp and take cover behind the boxes. From here, just kill the remaining enemies - walk forward and pick up their weapons. At this point, more enemies will run in. Take cover and shoot them.
After killing all the enemies inside, go outside. You'll find yourself to be automatically taking cover from the ensuing gunfight. Shoot the enemies closest to you (remember the enemy behind the boxes to the right that Henry'll be firing at) and move up a bit. Next, shoot the main gas tank of the Hank B Fuel Truck - which will trigger a massive explosion that will take out the remaining enemies. Now, pick a 4-seated car (if the Houston Wasp is still intact, take it) and drive out through the gate. Follow the road and you'll be attacked by ambushing enemies.
At this point the best thing you can do is just try to shake the enemies' cars by driving fast and taking many turns onto side streets. As long as you just do this, the Police won't get your description or number plates. Of course, they'll chase you whilst within sight - but once you get out of sight you're home free. After shaking the enemies, head to the mission marker in Hunters Point and you're done.

This chapter reminded me of Mafia 1, when Tommy and his partner decided to make a job of their own (robbing a bank), and it all went to shit when the boss finds out. So the lesson here is: In a Mafia game, when the main character decided to do things on his own, shit goes south real fast.

@@thesniperofstalingrad7556the way how they figured out that they were fake cops was because they had fancier shoes than the regular cops would have at that time, but if that weren't the case of how they figured it out. Then the other possibility would be that the cops couldn't have gotten into the place without a warrant.

Details like the joke at 13:24 makes the game excellent. I am playing the game now, even if the third came out. I find the game, as i said, excellent. I am disappointed that i heard that the third is not that great. That makes me more joyful that i can play now this great game!

That's one thing that I like that was also seen in GTA, especially GTA-4. Dialogue while driving to somewhere is an excellent and fun way to learn about the lore in-game. I like that!

I had a theory that they were maybe some of Falcone's guys. I theorised that Bruno was weary of giving the money to Henry and called up Falcone and advised him on the situation since Henry worked for Falcone now, Falcone probably felt betrayed by Henry and knew what the cash was for, and knowing that he's probably the only known supplier of dope in the city besides Wong, he would ambush Henry, (either not knowing Vito and Joe were his accomplices or did and didn't care about them being collateral), for going behind his back without kicking back to him.
But that's just my theory.

Frank Vinci clearly oblivious of this whole thing based on his conversation with Vito and Joe in chapter 14, he had no reason to pretend or lie at that moment.
