Completely agree! Thanks buddy!
The way you reviewed this made me think you had thousands of subscribers

Quite interesting, that price is quite low for a lithium-polymer battery pack of that capacity. The range is also very good, the collapsable frame is meant for commuters, drive to the edge of city, unpack, drive into downtown, a very interesting test.
This is the only review I saw here in RUclips for this type of ebike. The newer version that I bought this month was a Sheng Milo M90, can't really find a really good review but glad to see that an ebike with identical design were reviewed here. Mine's got 500W hub motor, longer travel front fork, and 18Ah 48V battery for 630USD.
Please let us know how it's holding after 2 years of use???
Would you recommend the purchase? Any taught would be appreciate.

How is the bike now?
@@Wilsonq_q Bike's dead now. Around 6000km we've had puppy dogs and they ate all the wires when they're teething. Broken motor harness, broken display and sensor wires. Tried reviving it but the new harness and wires won't fix it. It's now pending project in my backyard, I now have new ebike I built using TSDZ2 mid drive kit.
@@3dr14ng4 ahhh I see
@@3dr14ng4 do you have a recommendation for an E-bike that has around a full day’s use for the city?
As another commenter pointed out, the quality of this vid is amazing for such a young channel. Good job
@markyhabs no the video production is outstanding despite the hostt not answer comments
who cares? are we here to critique a/v quality or the bike?
I'm just wondering if you still have the bike and if is still works good after several months of usage. Thanks.
Personally, I'd rather spend that amount of money on a conversion kit than a folding bike that looks like it might snap in half at any moment. You can buy a really powerful motor for that kind of cash. And if you stick the kit on a half decent mountain bike you'll feel a lot safer and you'll also travel a lot faster.
So then the title of the video would be "bought quality components and made a nice, reliable electric bike"? The whole POINT was that it was a cheap aliexpress bike, that's the interesting part. Was it any good or trash? I dunno, let me watch the vid and see.
@@matthewridgway8374 fair comment Matt, it's not often you're wrong, but you're right this time.

I am really not in your hobby at all, but I just wanted to say that the quality of the video is insane. Thank You!
I have been researching the cheap chinese fat tire ebikes and they look OK.Mostly 48V batteries. My DIY Bafang BBS02 conversion has a 52V 30AH battery tho and puts out 1350 watts, so it's hard to beat!
For that kind of money you don't get a good bike, you get a bike, but he, it works better than peddeling!
And if it breaks, spare parts are proberbly as cheap.
the problem might be to get replacement parts, does this bike has standardized screws, bearings and are screw threads made out of soft aluminum that quickly wears out? Is the bike made out of cheap steel that easily gets cracks or is it made out of high-grade steel that doesn't break? There are customers that say that the very next day when the warranty claim is over cheap Chinese products break apart.
A foldable frame is a disadvantage in every way other than convenience. Whether it's worth it to you is dependent on how valuable that convenience is to you, and how much the various mechanical disadvantages of a hinged split in the frame matters to you.
Hey thanks for finally explaining how they work i watched around 5 videos prior to yours and didn’t understand anything thanks!
I think a foldable bike with a well made frame, is very useful for storage. It feels like most people are just skeptical of it's ability to fold because they aren't used to the folding aspect as well as the weight.
I love both of my foldable e bikes
very good editing man, well produced video! interesting nontheless. You did well youtube algorithm (:

big RESPECT to the edits. Very Cinematic!
I'm thinking on buying this bike from the link you gave. Is it a safe place to order bikes from.
Need to do longterm review and review of shipping process. where do you get repair parts?
The good part about a rear hub motor powered folding mountain bike is you can replace and upgrade most of the parts with better components/ The fork, the chainwheels, the chain, the brakes, the headpost and handlebars and even the front wheel. The only parts you can't replace I guess is the frame and the rear wheel.
this
just an observation - @ 2:15 u stated the RD and disc brakes are shimano - not true! the RD may be some cheapo Shimano and the rotors *may* (highly doubtful) be Shimanos but the disk brake caliper clearly has "Yinming" printed on it and are definitely not Shimanos! To answer your question about cheap front suspension fork or simply go rigid - yes i would go rigid with thicker tyres! And if u want to go offroad more get better brakes asap! Even stuff from Promax would inspire more confidence than "Yinming" lol
6 months later now So how would you rate the quality of this bike now? By the way the quality of your video is very professional, just joined your channel now and will certainly check out more of your videos . 👍
+eat_durian thanx for watching! I dont have this bike now, I had it just for the review
That's a good speed from a 350w motor, good review
Almost 6 months have passed, would you still recommend it?
Interested aswell
My cheap chinese bike held up well for a year, now it has electrical issues and odd broken bits - however its mechanically just about ok. Would I get another...mmmm.
@@johnburman966 thanks for the update. So the controller went bad?
@@johnburman966 probably due to the poor suspension and the controller absorbing all those bumps. Really well edited video though man ive been interested to see one of these in action
What I don't like about my cheap chinese Ebike.
Electrical wiring failure at connectors to hub, this I repaired.
Burnout of wiring (repaired) and probably controller after one night left out with battery in light rain. ( It runs for 5 mins then dies). Bike stand bolt sheared off, pedal crank bent slightly after bike fell over (what are they made of? Melted tins).
If only it was better made I would enjoy it. Now it is a 600 euros piece of junk.
The folding frame looks super weak, like a door hinge + a chinesium metal strap
iKuma was thinking the same thing
Yep. Definitely not for some hard offroad or jumps. But for lets say city or some trails, it should be fine.. When E Bikes become even cheaper (i mean powerful ones) im gonna get one for sure.
Chinesium lol
Oh u cam make better ?
@@marioarchuleta8723 yes if I somehow was in charge of the design I would have designed the folding mechanism sturdier.

Dont buy bikes off of sites like Amazon or Ali Express. They are pretty much exclusively garbage. I work at a shop and have seen internet bikes fall apart almost immediately many times.

How is it holding up?
I just bought a cheap fiido ebike for $500 and it's not a mountian bike but I've ridden it all over on all sorts of terrain.
Great for the hills here in Yorkshire UK.
My 500W 48V 13Ah Chinese bike on a flat surface goes 35 km/h max. The range from one charge is 40 km. Guess I have to lose weight xD
It's also a fatbike tho, probably -10 km to a max range 🙄
Oof, yeah fatbikes are super fun and just roll over curbs like it’s a pebble, but they do lose some serious efficiency at fast speeds. It’s probably also tuned for slower speeds (electrical windings optimized for slower speed but more torque), so that’s going to limit speed a lot, but that sounds like a pretty decent speed anyways for a fun fatbike!
I also have a fat tire bike 48v 500w 20 inch with the 4.0 tires and goes about 18 mph on my LCD display and i have it set to 45km maybe the tires way it down
Very good review. Most ebike reviews spend too much time on the parts of the bike and very little time riding. I want to know how it works.
Do more aliexpress reviews, this was very good 👍.
I'm guessing the batteries are used for that cheap. Still not a bad deal for the price and you can always get a namebrand battery later.
I paid £750 for a Chinese electric bike, 4" tyres and a good 35 mph over 50 mile radius.
It's the best bike I've ever had excellent for off road fun and a talking point around town. It's the future.

I am planning on buying a few bikes (3) off of AiBaba, selling Two of them essentially getting the last one free. The price of the three bikes I am looking at (including: currency exchange, duty, taxes and shipping to my home in Canada) is still cheaper than bikes that have WAY LOWER specifications at our local bike store. I don't feel like I'm risking as much after watching this video but before I commit there is more research to do. It was nice to see that this bike worked well ... it is now October (6 months since) I will look through the videos on your channel and see if you did a follow up. If not id love to hear how much you have used the bike in the last 6 months and how well it has lasted ... has the range diminished ??? Thanks !!!
A Bafang "350 watt motor" is actually over built. You can easily pump 1240 watts into the bafang 350 watt motor. I used to own one and could go 30mph on flat land. about 18mph on a 25% grade. Very good price/performance.
good info thank you
Nice to see someone sticking to the middleman and going Ali Express. How's it holding up? How fast does it go?
How do you replace the battery, what to get it from ?
Beautiful and green part of the country, what is it? I thinking folding is an option so we can fit more bikes in my car in additional to a bike rack attached to my trunk.
The collapsible frame is great for most general use and fire roads. I think if you wanted to do a mountain bike trail or anything more than a fire road, you would be better off with an e-bike that is more capable. Great video and amazing channel!
thanks for watching!
Yeah not a fan of those folding frames.
It IS an e-bike.
An update would be great 👍 Thanks. Very helpful.
How much?
Has anyone ever bought a scooter or motorcycle from aliexpress? Is it expensive to ship to the U.S. and is it good quality?
Don't just don't buy those things from brands that have a history of good quality control
Pretty much all the manufacturing for e bikes is done in China. The thing is that EU companies buy the components from China and then increase teh price on their stores to make a huge profit.
I am going to try and get a conversion kit and use it my only transportation is a bike I done been though 15 bikes getting them stolen off my front porch I have sold 6 bike that I got fa free
I like your accent what country is that from? If I was to get that bike I'll take all the parts of it and test it on another bike with better suspension. Excellent video!:):) UK:)
Sounds Russian to me.
I liked the video very much, no BS just the facts. An honest review.
Where IS the Auxiliary Battery Connection located on this bike?
Looks like a really nice bike. One thing I notice is the front wheel fender. Need to be way bigger. Other than that, nice.
Which lightweight /folding mountain bikes for Male do you like from aliexpress..$500 and lower
I've been wanting to do a aliexpress mountain bike challenge...
like go on wish and aliexpress and find the cheapest frame, wheels, brakes, and fork and see how hard I can go before it snaps...
Nice I already have ebikes, but I am looking at new kits and complete bikes from China. I may go with this one.
2 questions!
1. Is it entirely waterproof?
2. Is there a Mph option? (I suppose not)
Mph lol.
bergrud yeah, because uh America?...
Thos roads have exclusive bike lanes which is awesome where have you shot the video i am curious.
It looked like Florida to me.
I predict frame will break in half. Pedals will definitely fail if used.
I got a 350watt Imortor 3.0 system, love it for traveling around the city, no need for all the crazy conversion kits out there.
foldable bike are definitely an advantage. Drive, then bike to your destination/camping site. definite plus👍
You cannot adjust your front suspension?
Looks good and folding means you can take it on most trains.
Hello. Where are you from? Did you have any extra fees when buy on aliexpress? I am thinking to buy one too. I noticed on alibaba bike i am looking is 1300euro cheaper than aliexpress.
He sounds professional. I think this guy was a speaker before he did this job. In another language obviously.
i had one it snapped in half and had a bad injury
I almost bought one, Except I went with Lectric XP bike. Maybe I will get one of these as a back up and one I can tinkle and practice with upgrading components. after all it's a steal at that price.
You got my sub, nice review man.
I like that your area has a bike lane! I live in Ohio in the U.S. I wish we had dedicated bike lanes!
Move to Holland 😎
Foldable frame? Well it would be good for the bus. We have a automatic wheelchair spot that no one willingly uses. It would be perfect there if there was already two bikes on the bike racks.
Another advantage is it comes ready made for someone like me who knows nothing of motors. Although I did watch a hub wheel motor put onto a bike & I'd rather do that because it's cheaper & I have a pretty good bike already. Plus my weight would probably crush that bike.
48v times 10 amp. Battery can give almost 500watts power. I think the hub can handle it.
Very nice practical review. No mumb o jumbo tech jargon to impress. I like the look of this bike and it would appear to be a good solution for going to and from the office. How long does it take to fully charge the battery (how may mAh is it)?
He said 10.8 Ah (10,800mAh) 48v. Safely it would be 1 hour with a special charger on lithium batteries, but most try not to push things to the limits (lithium likes to catch fire, it’s probably a good thing they take more than an hour with the cheap chargers they use...), my 10 Ah 48v battery (LiFePo4 chemistry) says 4 hours, but it’s much faster than that. This one probably is around 4 hours if you fully deplete it (which definitely is not safe to do... so that should never happen anyways), and expect more like 2-3 hours max for basically using all the battery that you should be using). Thankfully this design has the battery enclosed in a heavy metal frame, so it’s much safer if it does catch fire than some other designs.
So if you ride it to work and if they let you charge it, you won’t have any issue with charge time, it would be about 2-3x longer than it needs for charging. If you charged it at a restaurant for an hour long lunch (waiting times etc), then you’ll have half of the battery charged up (say if you stopped at 20% capacity, an hour later you’ll probably be 70%, the charge greatly slows after 90% though). It’s really not all that long, it’s kind of like a laptop except that typically your not using an ebike all day like you might with a laptop.
The foldable feature is definitely an advantage.
Not when the bike folds in half when you go of a 2 foot drop
For the price i think its an amazing deal!
It's totally possible that it has a larger motor than advertised.. I have a Chinese "50cc" that is actually 63cc from the factory lol.. random ones ended up with these for a few years.
I've bought some real junk from China off of eBay. Beware of no recognizable brand name (if it's a good brand name, you have to worry about counterfeits). Some sellers make up a worthless brand name for themselves and pass it off as a brand name for their merchandise.
I bought 3 spy watches and a phone watch, all junk. The buttons fell off no matter how careful I was. The English in the manuals was a joke. I saw the same junky watches for $30 or $300 (US). The watches work for 1st month, so you can't return the item, then they fall to pieces. There's no head office on the boxes, so you have no idea where in China it's made. At least the box look good.
5:35 26 miles per hour
Nope
i wonder if you could put more battery down that frame?
Как непривычно слышать тебя на английском)) . Anyway, thanks for the helpful review...
great video, really informative, interesting, and high quality. Keep it up!!
For the price of the bike and the fact that it folds, I wouldn't even touch a trail. If the bike had better shocks then it would put less strain on the frame-hinge, but considering it has probably 20mm of travel, bottom outs would tear the frame in half in no time. I would only take it on the road and even then I don't know if I could trust it. Would be better if THE FRAME DIDN'T FOLD
Good review though, you are really good at this
they do not ship to The US. What a Bummer
More videos, can you try a country like Budapest, hungry for best ebikes. Thank and good luck. I like your music and your humor.
Just a friendly reminder, these are illegal to use in public roads in the EU without a license, registration plate and insurance, since it's classified as a Motor Vehicle, not a Bicycle. And even then you can't use the bike lanes. In order to be classified as a bicycle in the EU it can't have a throttle (must be pedal-assist only), the motor can't be over 250W (or if it is it has to be electronically limited to 250W) and it has to cut off at 25 Km/h.
And this is why the EU sucks and shall implode on itself with the countless mindless regulations that will harm various industries.
There is one guy from UK on RUclips who has a Bosch 250W sticker on his few kilowatt DIY ebike, works for him 🤔
Lol
Sounds like a good place to avoid then.
So the range is about 37 kms purely on throttle without pedalling? I wonder what would be the range if it was purely pedal assist without using the throttle?
Will vary a lot. On a pedal bike a 30 mile race takes me 1 hour 8 minutes max, and even in gravel roads just for fun I average about 20 mph including stopping for breaks. So for me, I already exceed that range as long as I have a snack and some water with me. If you were to put in half the effort though at that same speed, then you’ll probably get roughly double the range with your light casual pedaling, which is quite a bit farther than most people ride!
Does it assist. Or is it pedal only or electric only?
Love the camera world and review. Great job
Man
Do you have to wear a motor helmet on a bike in russia?
Exceptional video, subscribed.
That central hinge is nothing that can't be strengthened if needed, but for city commuting it should be perfectly fine. Just watch out for paint chips, rust will likely kill that "high grade" Chinese steel.
I cannot believe the range you got out of it nor the speed, I was expecting 20mph tops, and 10 to 15Km range.
Awww ffs. I cant buy these in the UK :_(
How is the bike now? Still good?
UK - cannot deliver to UK unfortunately
Better hope something gives if that battery decides to go nuclear. Otherwise the frame tube will turn into a pipebomb.
Really doubt that the frame is airtight, and batteries arent c4, they short and combust they dont explode. The battery is probably the first thing to go to be honest for that price
Manintoga it’s actually a really good idea to enclose the battery in something, hence the reason people charge lithium batteries in metal ammo cans. Plus I’ve never seen an airtight frame, I highly doubt this thing is so high precision that it can actually have much of a pressure build up without leaking...
it looks so small, they say up to 160cm riders which is only like 5’3
I think it’s a very poor design tbh it looks flimsy and I do not sure that clip to prevent it from flipping

Looks good to my mind!!!
Very good review of this bike. Thank you
Yes. Electric bikes and scooters are really part of the future, but electric cars and power walls are not. There is more CO getting in the atmosphere in the process of manufacturing li-ion packs then what a normal car emmits in its whole life! Some of our electic power plants have worse effiency, then a F1 car. (F1 car 11k rpm = 50%, Hungarian power plant 36%) And it just gets worse, if you look at China, they make power by coal plants and compared to the EU, we make 500 microgramms of CO/KW, they emmit 1000 microgramms. China will kill our planet, no matter how hard we try to recylce or how much money we spend on electric cars.
Very good quality review, keep up the good work and you will have 100k subs in no time! Liked & Subscribed!
Just not true about battery production...
And normal car batteries are not li-ion
Until one e-plant start bmw i3 compared to the energy produced to get 1gal of gasoline to be in a gas station = 16kwt
The purchase link is to your store on Ali Express. It even has the same you tube video.
So I really doubt the impartiality of your review.
I have ridden this bike in Denmark btw. There it was being rebranded by a company that started a kick starter campaign. The bike was brought white labelled by them and then rebranded by the crew in Denmark.
The bike was ok to ride .
The 110 kilometer range as stated on the AliExpress web site is a joke of course.
The future is heading to integrated rear hubs with gearing and motor all combined. OEM company in Taiwan sells the best one. All the big name bike companies buy them and then an OEM controller and rebrand them.
Tsmc is the Taiwanese company .
Carbon chains are the other big change. These are quiet and need no oil. But you need the frame dropouts to be designed for it
Hope this helps people thinking of buying an electric bike
