Great review, very helpful in what to expect when I get my bike. My only critique is the comment that this bike was intended as functional mountain bike. I don't know how they assesed that when it has never been titled or described as a mountain bike. That is a consumer error on the reviewers part. So, to be fair to consumers, that "negative" is not true.
The display on the hand bars anything wrapped on there will take up space and that will stop it from slipping... Example masking tape 2 layers put it back and move it anymore
Just bought this yesterday and after your video, I am super-psyched! I can't wait for this to be delivered. You video was very informative, and I think this will be perfect for me at 150lbs 5'7 who just wants to ride around the streets and some paths in the woods. Nothing crazy on the downhill for me. But all the things that you did not lilke about the bike, don't seem to bother me (I mean, that massive scratch would bother me), but everything else shouldn't. I wonder if you put some sort of foam or something else would the LCD stay tighter? Thanks again! CAN'T WAIT!
All these Chinese ebikes are the same, just different brands. I have an Addmotor and there are at least a dozen identical bikes under different brands. Mine is okay but not very sophisticated. I wish I had bought one with a rear suspension. It's a rough ride which I attribute to its weight. 75lbs. My bike arrived damaged but Addmotor sent new parts. That bike you have is a good buy.
Amazing review - you guys make a fantastic team. I loved this, and you were right 10:56 - I was looking at the Aventon Aventure, LOL. But will consider this bike.
Great review. I just started looking at the Bee Cool ebikes. One of the few bikes that is rated for my weight. most bikes are limited to 275lbs, this one is rated at 350lbs.
@@bob-ny6kn I don't know what criteria they use for the weight. But this is the first ebike I have seen rated for more than 275lbs. These are the things I want in an ebike - 300+ weight rating, 48V battery, 750W+ motor, fat tires, Disc brakes,, suspension, big enough for 6'4" person. I own the Rad mission which is rated for a tall riders, but only has one gear and a 500W motor. I am also considering the RAD city 4, it is about the same price as the BeeCool adventure. If you are near Fresno CA, check out the Inja on youtube. He reviews eBikes and is currently selling most of his collection. It is only worth it if you can pick them up locally, shipping is almost $300 which brings you back to the cost of a new ebike.
Been considering getting a ebike but being a big beefy dude really makes me worried. Like you said this bike looks promising, but for me I'm gonna be mostly on roads, no real mountain biking.
@@oAPXo Definitely go for 750w or greater motor, makes a difference. I don't do any mountain biking just roads and trails. But I do like the fat tire bikes. There are a lot of great bikes out there and they continue to improve them and new ones keep coming up.

Thanks guys for a great review. I have been doing a lot of research and the Bee Cool adventure seems to have all the best features for a great price, almost too good to be true. I just put my order in and it was $200 off. I am 6'3" 250lbs and this is the first ebike I have found that has a 350lb weight limit. Seems like the frame is very heavy duty and also good for riders up to 6'4". I was also looking at the RAD ebikes but they are limited to 275lbs and did not have both front and rear suspension.
I just received my Bee Cool bike two weeks ago. Its exceeded my expectations. Well worth the price. I''m 5'11" 325 lbs and it handles me with ease. it goes between 22-25 MPH. Again, for the price I think you"ll be very happy with it! I know i am.

Great informative video. Thx. I like this bike overall, but will have to back out because of the electronic issues u mention. Also, for this size motor, it should be hitting higher speeds. You're wondering if this is supposed to be a mountain bike? First clue - light and turn signals aren't used out on the trail. And then there's that suspension (or lack of suspension). Looks like a great commuter bike for the price.

its a great video, I was wondering if you could tell me when you're pushing or moving this bike without riding it, do you hear any humming sounds? Mine is making some humming noise from the rear wheel part when I moving the bike out of my yard. And does the bike chain slightly rubbing the rear tire side?
They designed their walk mode incorrectly. Work mode needs to have a current limiter on it. If you have a current limiter say set to 2 amps then as you try to walk uphill or put some resistance it will slow down. Walk mode on here wanted to maintain a certain speed and it was pushing the rider faster than he could walk.
I’m looking for a bike to shuttle me on single-track, gravel and highway to and from where I take-out my drift boat when fishing. I’ll leave it NY chained to a tree or something but eventually thieves will get it so I don’t want to spend a bunch of money. Also, the more one spends the more thieves attracted. This looks like an inexpensive but still functional option that I could ride in waders and attach gear to? Thoughts?
Nice, i will take off all of those knick knack like bike rack, light. Like all of the cheap bike from China: Poor quality. I have the early fat bike model back in 2018. brand nameEcotric. just found BE COOL as it came up on my Facebook ads. ive been looking for a good entry level bike for a fat guy to just get me down some access trails for hunting. how would you feel about a trailer behind this bike? think it would pull the same hill if one of you were riding in the back?
Great review like always! Between this one and the aventon aventure which one is best? Better components on the aventon? How about which front suspension is better?
Hi Selene! Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate you always supporting the channel. The Aventon Aventure is a little more refined, but it doesn't have a rear suspension. The Aventon Aventure is $2000 vs the Adventurer, which is $1500. Some Aventon Aventure bikes have Shimano components and some have Sunrace components. Where the Bee Cool Adventurer has Shimano components, which I like better. The Aventon Aventure has a nice color display and an app, where the Bee Cool Adventurer has a black and white display. If you like a more refined look, the Aventon Aventure is designed better. However, if you are all about a budget buy and don't care for a color display or app, I find the Bee Cool Adventurer is better because it offers full suspension.
@@Andrew-vt4jt rear suspension and suspension in general is about worthless if its not a decent brand anyways. Honestly, they all are trash and some cases un safe. Decent is Rockshox, FOX, etc. Rule of thumb is fat bike tires provide some level of suspension so by just having a nice front fork, in many cases, is plenty if you are looking for comfort. To be honest, unless you are doing alot of downhill, you wouldnt need a middle suspension and in this case is just added weight. The fork on this bike is just a spring suspension that looks like its suppose to be 100mm and rated for a normal bike. This is an Ebike with lots of added weight so the fork literally bottoms out with you just riding down the road... This is why these cheap bikes are cheap, the components. The good ones and safe components are $$$. From the shocks to the drivetrain, always upgrade or dont pick up these cheaper versions. They all risk safety. And if you are getting a fat bike, no need for a middle shock if you are not going off road or hitting trails as you are just going to lose energy from correcting cadence and add weight for no real reason.
Greta review guys. The electric motor not picking up again is a major flaw. If it doesn’t pick up immediately, or at least within a half pedal stroke it is essentially Not an e-bike at that point. Imagine pedaling a 70lb. bike for no particular reason. That amperage on the bike is the best selling feature on the bike as the suspension showed it to was not flawless, so this will definitely not be my choice as a next bike.
That seat just doesn’t look right on it, it needs a cooler mountain bike seat… What’s the standard of the frame, what’s the build quality? If you shifted out the parts for better parts as they failed would it be a long term ride
With afforable bikes, they should just come with a rigid front fork, no crappy lights, and just focus on the basics. Frame, motor, battery, brakes and the gears as priority number one. Quality basics and skip the low quality stuff you get with value stuff, they're stuff you can add later on yourself like a better fork and lights.
Not bad for the price but for its weight it should at least have a mid motor 1000W. Is there a name for this style of bicycle frame because i have seen other brands selling same frame with different configuration

A steal with that size battery
The display easy fix put some rubber in the mount, the fender loosen it and move it. The forks well, can always upgrade on your own like the headlight
During the day is is best to use arm signals to turn right left and to stop. In low light it is better to use turn lights and these lights will likely be more then sufficient to let others know your intent
You both rock, glad to find a new channel I enjoy!
Awesome! Thank you!
Good job guys
The display on the hand bars anything wrapped on there will take up space and that will stop it from slipping... Example masking tape 2 layers put it back and move it anymore
Thanks for the detail review. One of the greatest reviews I have ever seen.
Great video content guys, hi from the UK
I just ordered one. I hope it works good for me. For the price, it seems like it will just fine.
CAN'T WAIT!
Great review, thank you! I grew up right up the street from there.
Very cool!
Great review. However, your comment about the light imo It does shine quite a bright beam of light at night.
very nice, thank you for your time and info. have a bless day
It's gets an A for great price and a lot of features.
You " cracked me up " when you told how the instruction book had good grammer.
180mm travel lol you made my day with this :D look at 2:12 shock barely compresses there is maybe 40mm and that's a stretch
Yep, that's what I saw. And let's face it, they rode on easy bike path trails that any rigid ebike could handle too...
@Fred Bloggs clearly you can tell that guy have absolutely 0 clue about mtb ever less about emtb ..
I lol'd when he said almost as much as a dh mtb that thing has less travel than my xc bike
Great review. I just started looking at the Bee Cool ebikes. One of the few bikes that is rated for my weight. most bikes are limited to 275lbs, this one is rated at 350lbs.
Do you know what puts it at 350 lbs max? Spokes? Susp?
The fat tires make up for a lot of road imperfections. So far the Bee Cool adventure has been a great bike, its the one my wife always takes. There are a lot of great bikes out there and they continue to improve them and new ones keep coming up.
as for your front shocks you just need to adjust your SAG
I'm guessing the kill switch would settle the pedal assist delay... I'm leaning more towards the Bee Cool Challenger
you guys are missing the angle , the walk slash run mode can be a low speed cruise control ha ha
Great review. That color is really nice.
Anything better that you reviewed
wow sweet ebike... I currently have a Rad Rover but have been thinking of starting a ebike fishing and trail exploring channel and this bike would be awesome for some of my adventures... thanks for sharing
Do it!
@@hawkeyefootball7323 in 6'5 340 and considering this bike. How's it holding up 3 months later?
@@ShaqTheBoss pull the trigger Shaq! going on 300 miles no issues and holding up fine. you wont be disappointed.
@@hawkeyefootball7323 Do you still like the bike ? can you program it for higher top Speed ? How many miles will the bike go on a FULL. Battery Charge ? I need a Budget EBIKE. that will go 34 Miles w/ some use of Pedal Assist. So It would need to prob. go 26 miles on Electric Only w/ no pedal Assist.
The price is very impressive, especially with a 21AHr battery. I have two Cyrusher bikes. XF800 and XF900. They are built really well, and I ride them intensively in NYC. At $1600 it sounds too good to be true.
It's an insanely awesome deal. I have put 270 miles on mine in a month
Well thought out evaluation.
On sale right now for 1499 hard to beat
Great review oveall. The turn signals might be most applicabl/effective at night so I understand the wimpy daytime performance. It would be great if you covered where the bikes are made and little about warranty an where they are headquartered
Thanks for posting fairly interested in a bike myself everyone's making commas on RUclips most of us interest want to know number one how much does it cost how fast will it go how far will it go everything else pretty irrelevant
james and andrew, you need to chech out the nireeko prime. 38 mph, and full carbon frame. about 2700.00 dependin on what goodies you get.
forgive me guys. it is named nireeka. apologise from one of your humble servants.
I've been wanting to check it out.
@@Andrew-vt4jt andrew, i definately think it is the most futuristic e bike out there. you and james are the best reviewers out there.
@@kevinwalsh9483, somebody did do a review on that bike and claimed it priced around $2500. Then he realized that the bike he was actually reviewing would cost over $4000 with everything you needed to upgrade.
I think somebody has said it already but JOG mode as you called it isn’t for the flat it’s for going up hills
Great informative video. Thx. I like this bike overall, but will have to back out because of the electronic issues u mention. Also, for this size motor, it should be hitting higher speeds. Also looks like the front fork shocks are just springs that r on the weak side. I'm 6'3", 200#. The handle bar stem is too short. I don't want to be hunched over the bars all the time. I'm 75. My hunching days are gone.
Where you get the helmets from?
You're wondering if this is supposed to be a mountain bike? First clue - light and turn signals aren't used out on the trail. And then there's that suspension (or lack of suspension). Looks like a great commuter bike for the price.
I thought the turn signals were so I could let the bears know which direction I was heading. 🐻
Yes, and the rear rack is surplus...and would never work with any proper mountain bike...
Thanks for the video. Great review. Would love to have one of those.
check out the nireeka prime. it looks so much cooler than any e bike you will ever see, especially with the carbon frame and hard tail fork.
im guessing you looked at it. the red one is awesome.
@@kevinwalsh9483 I've been interested in testing and reviewing that bike.
Nice review. Just looking at the rear suspension made it obvious this isn’t a serious mountain bike 🚵♂️. It can still have other uses. Might be a kewl form of transportation. 👍☮️🌞🚴❤️
This bike or Avenenture E bike? After watching the whole video definitely Aventure for me.
Thanks!
You bet!
@@freshlycharged do you know if the challenger would be better for much longer commutes?
@@etherbeans I haven’t reviewed that bike yet.
How many miles will the bike go on a FULL. Battery Charge ? I need a Budget EBIKE. that will go 34 Miles w/ some use of Pedal Assist. So It would need to prob. go 26 miles on Electric Only w/ no pedal Assist. Can you PROGRAM / Tweak it to go faster like 28 mph.
It looks like your rear rack is bent downward toward the rear tire at the end
Where are you guys? That looks beautiful.
Great presentation. Did you return the bike back?
I like the battery capacity!
Do you think with new good front fork and new rear shock new breaks I can go downhill? Putting it other way , is the frame capable?
its a great video, I was wondering if you could tell me when you're pushing or moving this bike without riding it, do you hear any humming sounds?
Thoughts?
Was your top speed on the highest level? Can unlock higher power like most can?
Can you guys test out the 750w Accolmile mid drive?
Thanks for the review. Non related, what helmets are you using? They look very protective.
Im.obssesed over ebikes and indecisive person cuz I'm tight 😒 but man this 1 is up there in my choice of ebikes 2 get.
Please do the dualtron compact
Maybe they offset the battery to counterbalance the gear set on the right side? Or possibly more likely for ease of removal and installation
Like your review, now where can I get one in Hawaii on Oahu?
Looks like it's great value, especially with a 21A battery and full suspension.
Except they don't tell you what cells they use. If the battery is full of cheap Chinese cells not such a great deal.
@@Hoggdoc1946 A 21AH battery with cheap cells is still better than a 14AH battery with cheap cells, which is what most bargain e-bikes have.
Nice, i will take off all of those knick knack like bike rack, light. Like all of the cheap bike from China: Poor quality. I have the early fat bike model back in 2018. brand nameEcotric. Worst then this one. But it served it purpose ( part times fun). Very heavy. Nice park you are in. Enjoy and thanks for the review. Oh Btw. I gave my old Electric bike to my brother in AZ. So may want look in to this, just for recreational ride. Thanks
No way does that have 180mm rear travel. Maybe without the shock.
lol right!! the front is 100mm spring that bottoms out on him just riding
@@driftadvocate1839 Yep, put some guy over 200lbs on it and there won't be any travel....
Good Job thanks
Fenders always rattle they are unnecessary. Rear rack can block mud you can zip tie cardboard on down tube or whatever☮️🌵
is there a kill switch or something like that with the battery still on. For theft or.. saftey ect??
Thanks for the video. I watch a lot of your vids and I would like to know what those cool full-face helmets are. Make, model?
We have a link in the description of the video with all our safety gear.
i love my scooter more fun les stress happy days to you both
just found BE COOL as it came up on my Facebook ads. ive been looking for a good entry level bike for a fat guy to just get me down some access trails for hunting. how would you feel about a trailer behind this bike? think it would pull the same hill if one of you were riding in the back?
Although I have no idea what the customer service is like with the Be Cool bikes there has been a lot written about how bad Aventon support is.
@@driftadvocate1839 Indeed the rear suspension on the Be Cool bike looks very cheap.
@@driftadvocate1839 thanks for all very valid points.
Tap the brakes for a split second to stop the motor
How much does this cost to charge? Nobody discusses this. Thanks!
Does the LCD screen actually show you the % of battery left or is it just bars?
I never had an Ebike. I have MTBs and Road bikes. Are ebikes comes in different frame sizes?
I guess I'll just guess at what the brake light looks like.
Do you think this would be alright for a tall rider?
The brakes have nothing but issues and my bike shop recommended replacing but the manufacturer makes it impossible to upgrade because of the sensors.
Gibt es die Bikes auch in Deutschland zu kaufen?
That seat just doesn’t look right on it, it needs a cooler mountain bike seat… What’s the standard of the frame, what’s the build quality?
If you shifted out the parts for better parts as they failed would it be a long term ride
Kinda personal question, but how tall are you guys? I'm only 5'7 and was wondering if this bike would be too tall for me?
With afforable bikes, they should just come with a rigid front fork, no crappy lights, and just focus on the basics. Frame, motor, battery, brakes and the gears as priority number one. Quality basics and skip the low quality stuff you get with value stuff, they're stuff you can add later on yourself like a better fork and lights.
Where do you guys live? I really like the area and would maybe like to visit that area.
did anything break on the bike after owning it for a while??
Any possibility to order it from FRANCE?
i wonder how many miles youd get with this bike if you road it in walk mode.
You forgot to talk about how the back shocks barely give at all... To me from what I can see it looks like a hard tail bite in the rear
What do you think about this if it were a MD?
The walk mode is about the same as other brands
Not bad for the price but for its weight it should at least have a mid motor 1000W. Is there a name for this style of bicycle frame because i have seen other brands selling same frame with different configuration
What forks on Amazon are recommended?
Can You UNLOCKE It So It Would Go Just a Bit Faster 🤔
