Hey guys, sorry for the review, I'm gonna keep it going so others can read your comments but wanted to let you know I've stopped working with these guys based on the horrible customer service.
Hi, I hope you have the time to answer. I know you are not a fan of this company. However, which of the two (explorer and pathfinder) do you like the best? Also, I am 5'8" 173 lbs. I really like these two bikes but I have heard about their bad customer service.
The review is guiding people to be robbed of their money by these crooks! You should remove this review and make one telling your loyal followers the dirty truth about them!
I owned the Adventurer & Pathfinder step thru for 4 months. 650 miles on them and so far no problems with them. They arrived with no issues. Customer service has been prompt with answering any questions I had. I know parts are difficult to get replaced because of supply chain issues. They are the first Ebikes I've owned and I am very happy with everything about them. From all the Ebike groups I've visited on FB, the complaints are about the same as the Bee Cool groups which leads me to believe when it comes to customer service there isn't one brand better over another.
I'm now on my second Explorer. The first one suffered from a cracked center seat post at 6, 230 miles at 19 months. Bee Cool offered to replace only the bike frame under the warranty conditions. I thought about all of the work which I would have to do in order to make that offer work. Therefore, I made a counter-offered to purchase a second Explorer if they would give me a substantial rebate. Bee Cool agreed to this proposal and my second bike arrived six days later. They honored their rebate conditions. So, why did I go along and spend the additional money to get a second Explorer which also might be flawed. It's simple: I love riding that bike. I'm now 77 and I did 54 miles this past weekend.
I bought an 'Adventurer'. The bike is nice and fun - although very heavy. I don't think it will be much fun (especially offroad) without the use of the electric motor. But more important, my bike arrived damaged (after waiting for over 6 weeks) : It has significant deep dents and scratches on the frame and a damaged battery as the result of some sort of impact. The box was not damaged, so this must have happened at the factory before it was put into the box. Now, shit happens and the only thing that really matters to me is how a company will resolve the issue. Keep in mind I paid $1500 for a damaged bike. BeeCool's customer service is arguing with me saying that such damage should be acceptable and only offered a touch up pen to be shipped out some time in the distant future (not available at this time). I'm considering returning it just because of this attitude. Be careful who you buy from and good luck with any warranty claims.
Thanks for your info. That sort of response is even more bad as I thought they were U.S owned? If that is the case then it makes one consider not purchasing over the phone/net.
They aren't the greatest company for customer service. It looks like they are just branding ebikes from Aliexpress and slightly upgrading the battery. My fiance bought one during black friday. She had to stay on their butts just to get them to deliver it. Got it 5 weeks late, random parts broken, bent or not sent at all. They couldn't send replacement parts so asked her to go to a bike shop and get reimbursed but they capped her at $40 so she had to get a partial refund from paypal and show like a month long conversation. Then they told her to send the bike back and she refused.
Thank you for the awesome review video! Never test the bike on the higher elevation, your data is really helpful! We have a real-world range test of 40 miles+ using throttle only, but it was on the flat terrain, flat slope, low elevation.
@@beecoolbikes8312 How about the fact that you told me to pack sand after FedEx lost my bike, no bike and no money! Does that has anything to do with the lockdown too? Thieves!

Bee Cool is NOT a trustworthy company. Their company contact page lists a shady residential address in Bromly, England when you write them, and the main address in Ontario, California Is a shared Warehouse space normally used by companies temporarily. Bee Cool DOES NOT MAKE THEIR OWN BIKES. All of these bikes can be ordered from Alibaba for SIGNIFICANTLY less cost from the original manufacturer, Aimos. Bee Cool is just a drop shipping company, selling someone else's product through a shady website. I do not have a problem with Asian business. Hello, electric revolution, I love your reviews though I am wondering about the Bike Explore. I have heard lots of good and bad thing about Bee cool bikes. Though if I am looking for a good mountain bike should I get this?

Well, Neil, I'm in the Beecool owners group and LOTS of people are still having problems with their Beecool bikes. BEECOOL is just NOT cool. While mine is great there are way too many people having issues and Beecool is not being cool and taking care of people properly. Beecool is just stressing people out over $1700. I definitely wouldn't recommend them. Just because you fix their broken bikes and resell them if you had integrity you too wouldn't recommend them. This shit isn't ok. How would you feel if you spent that much money and couldn't fix it and Beecool was stressing you out? You wouldn't like that shit. So, again, if you had integrity you would be truthful and tell people is probably not a good idea to buy from them to they get their shit together.
I have a BC Adventurer and the frame is too large for me. BTW… I’m 5’9” which is within the advertised range that Bee Cool advertises for the Adventurer. I thought I’d learn to like it but was wrong. I like the bike but wish I would have purchased this model instead which is a reduced stand over height. Agreed, the name is “goofy”. I put tape over it.
Good video - although it wasn't spoken to, you did a good job of capturing some of the quality issues I'd be concerned about in the finish, around the key lock, the paint/emblem, etc. I think I'd lean more toward Rad or another for a few hundred or comparable and a little more confidence in a company that I think is going to be around a year from now. Just my honest consideration. Other than that, looks like it would be fun to ride.

Nice review on this bike, there is not that many reviews about it, do you think there is enough slack in the wiring to put a adjustable gooseneck on it? To be able to raise the handlebars up to give it a more upright riding position. Thank you for your response

I don’t like the gear ratio I like too pedal too get my exercise not like most people that just use throttle so if I can’t do 28 mph helping the bike without ghost pedalling then it’s not for me
You can add 2 or 3 chain rings on the front. Although these cheap Chinese bikes usually have proprietary parts that you can't change, not sure if the chain ring/bottom bracket is one of them.
I reviewed that bike if you wanna check it out, it's on my website as well, this one performed better so hope that helps electricrevolutionreviews.com/
wife and I are looking for p-assisted e-bikes. I'm tempted to buy local to support local and to ensure I can get service when I need it. We aren't that interested in the automated / motorcycle-like class. Am I wrong in this pedal assist allows both modes or do all assisted bikes allow that? Can you still get a good workout / exercise with this bike by throttling down the amount of assistance?
Every bike I've tested offer both pas and thorttle. You can get a workout if you lower the pedal assist down to 1 or 2 and increase the gear to 6 or 7 or if you want a real good burn set the assist to 0 :). Hope that helps
@@ElectricRevolution thanks for your reply and great review. Lots to choose from. I’m a bit on the fence going the mail order route. Not every bike works for every person, for fit, ergonomics and comfort. Many have return policies but that means I have to disassemble and rebox the bike if it isn’t for me. Additionally, my wife is 5’2”. It’s not easy finding ‘small’, all terrain e-bikes for her. I don’t know if it’s just an inventory issue or lack of demand.
@@themacattackjack It doesn't have cruise control, I own one, it does have walk mode, the walk mode would only be beneficial on steep hills it moves kinda fast, I can't find anything in the manual about cruise control, but overall it's a nice bike lots of other features.
I own this bike and this video is not true. The bike doesnt do over 25 mph unless going down hill you might hit 28. As the battery runs down so does the speed. Trottle speed has less power then peddle assist.
It's a great bike if you can get it actually delivered to you undamaged. The company isn't the greatest at customer service and blames everything on Fedex even though it's clear most of the issues happened with the manufacturer in China.
It does make me lean towards something more in our region like RadRover. I wish local dealers carried these brands and models so I'm not buying them blind and hoping I like it and it fits me well.
Very surprised the reviewer stated he has never seen a throttle kill switch on a ebike before. Rad Power Bikes (one of the largest & best selling in the nation) had these on 2019 models and possibly earlier models. I believe they removed them in 2020. This makes me wonder about the experience (or lack thereof) of this channel to perform quality reviews & comparisons. Not trying to bash, just stating reality so consumers can make educated decisions on who they can trust when looking to gain quality information to make a decision to spend their hard earned money. Buyers need to be aware of this as many of these reviewers receive comps & perks to perform swayed reviews.
Do not buy from them! I have been getting the run around from them since the first of may. The had ups return the bike before it was delivered and they will not refund my money. There is only two guys working costumer service and will not connect you with some one higher then them to talk to. They claim to send emails that you never receive and have them try to email you while you talk to them and it never comes through. Still waiting on that phone call i have been promised from a higher up.

Yeah it would be for sure, it's a lot of bike
This bike or should I get the Aventure?
As far as performance this bike kicked butt. If you want to compare the two, I've reviewed both which can be found on my website. electricrevolutionreviews.com/
I'm also looking for a bike like this, and it seems like the only option is either build one yourself, or pay over $2000
Please help to make up my dessicion between this bike and the crusher fx900 with one would you recommend?? Please any one???
I reviewed that bike if you wanna check it out, it's on my website as well, this one performed better so hope that helps electricrevolutionreviews.com/
I am 6’ 6” tall do you think this bike will work for me?
Size rating is only up to 6'2
wife and I are looking for p-assisted e-bikes.
Hey how wide are the handle bars they look short not 770 or 800 mm in width are they?
Just looked it up, it's 25.1"
At 12,000 above sea level it won't pull a piss ant outta the hole?
What?? The rider will feel the thinner air but the battery/motor doesn't care. It doesn't have a gas engine that needs air.
Does it have cruise control and walk mode
Yes
Are you sure it has cruise control?
@@themacattackjack It doesn't have cruise control, I own one, it does have walk mode, the walk mode would only be beneficial on steep hills it moves kinda fast, I can't find anything in the manual about cruise control, but overall it's a nice bike lots of other features.
@@dkk1404 Thank you for responding & providing the correct information.
3:40 my wife agrees
I own this bike and this video is not true. The bike doesnt do over 25 mph unless going down hill you might hit 28. As the battery runs down so does the speed. Trottle speed has less power then peddle assist.
It's a great bike if you can get it actually delivered to you undamaged. The company isn't the greatest at customer service and blames everything on Fedex even though it's clear most of the issues happened with the manufacturer in China.
It does make me lean towards something more in our region like RadRover. I wish local dealers carried these brands and models so I'm not buying them blind and hoping I like it and it fits me well.
Thanks for the comment, I've copied this comment and sent it back to the company.. that's not cool :(
Very surprised the reviewer stated he has never seen a throttle kill switch on a ebike before.
WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE A BEECOOL E-BIKE. BEECOOL DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY.
Bee Cool is NOT a trustworthy company. Their company contact page lists a shady residential address in Bromly, England when you write them, and the main address in Ontario, California Is a shared Warehouse space normally used by companies temporarily. I have tried repeatedly to contact this company for basic information, like where they are actually located, and their customer service straight up ignores or does not understand the question. I do have a problem with a business pretending to be in the USA, and pretending that Noah, and Vicky, and John all work there, when the poor grammar and typos tell me that English is definitely NOT their strong suit. If they are dishonest about WHO they are, and dishonest about WHERE they are, then they are not trustworthy to buy from.
Thanks for the comment, it's stories like this that help me decided which companies to work with and which to not. I'll be sending all these types of comments back to them in hopes of inspiring better customer service.
So I shouldn't get one??
@@albertgein3082 I’m not. I was this close to ordering one, but after all or the negative shit I read, I’m done. Cured!
No ebike for me.
But can it carry my phat ass of 130 kg?
lol yes
PoS
Bee cool bikes are poor quality garbage, if this video promotes it in anyway then it's not an honest video.
How can it not be an honest review? My reviews show you what you get, real life experience. If you had a bad experience you probably got a rotten apple
Please remove DeSantis from your name you degrade him not only in your reply but using Trump at the same time. Only Trump would bloviate like you did, DeSantis would have given a clear and precise reason why he thought this bike was a poor choice.
I was thinking of buying one of these. Can you elaborate on why you say these bikes are "poor quality garbage?" Thank you.
