My mind was blown at the twist, Dr. Drakken being Kim Possible's dad's former college roommate was a big twist for me in the day, it still never explains why he turned blue when he became evil.

I always read the lyrics to Rappin Drakken where he says "One day i turned blue" as him saying he became depressed (since that is also called "Becoming Blue") so i always just thought it was a thing that happened to him from such intense mental health trauma.
@@abucket14 Yeah well in the credits scene of one episode his rival asks him how skin turns blue he starts to answer but the credits end with the Disney logo so all we get is "it happened on a Tuesday." I think that was the day of the week he said, it's been years since I've watched the show.

I watched this as a child, but never got to see how it ended, but now I know: a happy ending.
I saw how it ended, it ended with Kim and Ron graduating, people were cheering for Kim, Wade got a girl friend, Drakken got awarded for something for some reason, and finally Kim and Ron flew in the air in a flying car, kissed each other by the lips, and they flew into the moonlight and that's it, that's all I can remember.

I really enjoyed this series when I was in high school (when it came out) and would watch it with my younger sisters. I also rewatched it as an adult maybe 4 or so years ago and it was still pretty funny and I enjoyed it as I have been older! I hope a good show like this shows up every once in a while
Watching these videos makes me realise I didn't have a life as a child. I think I've literally watched every single video of every single cartoon, because I seem to remember most of the episodes.

I find it interesting that you don't mention the whole 'Team Go' stuff, where we get the backstory for Shego since that's actually interesting lore. Not complaining, just confused. Still enjoyed the video.
to be fair the video is already 40 minutes, much longer than usual youtube videos so skipping over the team go stuff wasnt that impactful, plus I do agree the backstory with Team Go is cool especially we get to see evil ron for a moment. But it doesnt really have that much impact on the story since by memory, I think there was only two episodes they talked about it.

This is the second video I've found on youtube where the title or thumbnail implies a kid show has some type of mature content by the end only to have the thumbnail be a complete fabrication. I'm here cause I showed my family this show after pointing out that Ron has the same voice as Terry in Batman Beyond and my six-year-old now loves it, but I didn't remember anything of a pregnant Kim in it. So thanks for the clickbait: I'll now be wary of anything I see posted by this channel in the future.

My mind was blown when it was revealed in season 4 that Kim was in the friendzone for years with Ron instead of Ron! I had to literally pause the episode to comprehend that info...
It’s honestly not that surprising after watching the episode emotion sickness where it was Ron that broke up with her and put her back in the friend zone. Plus not only that but Kim was always more so jealous of Ron talking to girls than he ever was with Kim talking to boys until Eric came along. Ron also is notoriously known for not knowing when girls like him. Example: Tara and Yuri.

It really brings back a lot of nostalgia
But you missed some key info about the series that provides more details of the series and characters, that I really wished you touched on like
- Shego’s backstory of being a former superhero with her siblings
- Two times Ron became accidentally evil that revealed that Ron would make a great supervillain if he wasn’t good
- Shego becoming nice and being like a big sister to Kim
- Shego and Kim being hit with a love machine that made them fall in love with Drakken and Ron
- Kim’s first car that the twins helped her rebuild
- Kim changing her combat suit cause the old one got ruined
- Episode of Bonnie and Ron and Bonnie later falling for senior senior junior
- Some episodes that concluded some villains arcs like senior senior junior, etc
- The twins entering high school with Kim
- Ron’s adopted sister and his kung fu past (where the episode showed Kim being jealous for the first time when he meets a king fu master girl that likes Ron )
- then this one I don’t know if I imagined it or it was actually an episode or a short or something of Kim going into the future and finding out her ancestor was evil or something like that on a school trip
But basically Kim possible had some great characters and character development that really told a full compact story of a teenage girl who happened to save the world with her bestfriend

As much as I would love that as well it’s best if it doesn’t cause it would just get ruined it’s like that saying you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain and that unfortunately can be applied to a lot of tv shows and movies these days but that’s just my personal opinion

Maybe I'm looking into a kid's show too much, but it doesn't make any sense to me how Shego lost all her fights with Kim. She had genuinely threatening powers while Kim had no powers whatsoever. Also she's in her early to mid twenties while Kim is in her teens, meaning Shego has significantly more fighting experience than Kim.
Agree. I think Shego should've won MOST of the fights she had with Kim when realistically looking at their differences. Shego only lost bc she was the designated bad guy, but by all metrics, she is the superior fighter. Stronger, smarter, has superhuman powers, and the experience. If she lost, realistically it would be a fluke that happened a handful of times. She should've been more of a behind-the-scenes powerhouse or something that only directly fought Kim occasionally and been a HUGE threat everytime they crossed paths.
But kids shows are predictable and the villains always have to lose in the end. If this was remade nowadays to appeal towards a wider audience, I'm sure they would show her messing up a lot more bc of the simple fact that she can't win all these missions against seasoned, powerful, intelligent adults - no matter how talented she is now.

I feel like what some people will counterargue is that her almost anti-hero personality holds her back from being a true danger but A Sitch in Time clearly shows how much potential Shego has as a villain. It was after the events of that movie that I stopped watching the show because it got too repetitive with the cycle of Shego fighting Kim and losing. It annoys me how they dangled the possibility of Shego being a bigger threat right in front of our faces only for that to never happen again.

They used to take episode ideas submitted by kids and I sent in the words for time monkey episode when I was a child and was so excited when I saw Kim read my idea and they made it made me so excited and happy as a kid. They even sent a letter before it was aired saying they might use it. As a kid I was so happy when I saw it.

The series of Kim Possible was one of the best shows on Disney Channel, and it was one of the best shows anyone can watch and remember in general too, also this show was also a show that was even around in the year I was born in which was 2005, since I was born on July 1st 2005 and Kim Possible started from 2002 all the way to 2007, and I remember watching every episode and season of Kim Possible on demand on Disney Channel when I was still in middle school and it was really great, I mean I never saw anything from the series when I was younger but I got to see everything of it when I was 14 years old in 2019, and I even watched the two movies of Kim Possible and the one that involved Kim trying to stop old enemies of hers in some time-traveling thing I saw and watched as a three-part episode of one of the seasons I watched from Kim Possible on demand on Disney Channel too. And the crossover of Kim Possible and Lilo and Stitch thing, I just got to watch from a video of an episode of Lilo and Stitch the series just last October(October 2, 2023), and that was what the crossover was, an episode of Lilo and Stitch the series and that episode I started watching was really awesome. And when I told my speech teacher and my tutor one day about myself watching that crossover of Kim Possible and Lilo and Stitch, and since I'm in high school and 18 years old right now, I found that my speech teacher and my tutor(who helps me on what I have to learn and finish working on from each of my classes), they know who Kim Possible is and they watched the show of Kim Possible as adults from years back and I find it pretty amazing that people besides myself know about Kim Possible, and like I said Kim Possible is one of the best shows anyone can remember, and since most importantly in my case, it was around in the year I was born in which was 2005.
I’d say the Team Impossible costumes were inspired more from the 60s-80s uniforms worn by SHIELD agents than the X-Men costumes.

Great video! But I feel like Ron's story of his monkey powers and the dojo he goes to with sensei should have been covered. I definitely feel like Ron's story is an important one that slowly gets pieces added to it over time, and the ending definitely makes it feel like a sort of endgame in a lot of ways.
