Penny was me and my twin brothers favorite player. And he's still my all time favorite till this day.
Penny’s unfortunate injuries definitely robbed us of some epic battles between the two. I honestly feel a friendship would have eventually grown from it, the competition. Penny was a quiet assassin and Kobe was more blatant with it. They probably had more things in common than they would have thought, including co-starring with Shaq. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. Respect for them both.
