One thing I’ve noticed about him is that his back foot lifts off the ground way before anyone else. No idea if that had to do anything with his easy gas
One thing that works for me is having a cadence in my head, so when the game starts speeding up and I start to think about internal cues, I flush those and go to the cadence I use every time I throw a pitch: “Lift, Tap, Fire.” That really helps me simplify the approach.
i pitched super well last year (44 Ks in 20 IP), and i had a stint where i was obsessed with velo and i cant throw strikes consistently anymore. its not even overthrowing atp. this should help thanks
I have two video ideas for you. Ik you are very busy but there is two concepts that aren’t rly on RUclips and explained correctly.1. How the spine works in the throw and how to rotate the spine correctly. 2. How the glove arm is supposed to work in the throw (initial rotation and work in the plane).
Both great ideas! Here's a couple unlisted videos you can check out now: ruclips.net/video/WW8AP31gpTc/видео.html , ruclips.net/video/jkrbYDWxEJ4/видео.html, ruclips.net/video/KsWjm_JmKL4/видео.html
@@treadathletics thanks for those videos. All really good points. The spine thing I don’t really see covered. I feel like it is different then plane of rotation, how the spine should rotate. I heard it should rotate around the thoracic spine, not lumbar. Like in this video ruclips.net/video/MK5cpw4DkOc/видео.html from 16-18 seconds, what the spine is doing I see a lot of pitchers doing this but not sure what they are doing. Thanks!
Contralateral tilt just refers to the degree of tilt of the trunk. It's not inherently bad. A high degree of tilt will result in a higher arm slot and vice versa.
just can't imagine a more helpful video! detailed, reasonable and clear!
Yordano Ventura breakdown. He literally threw 94 with like so minimal effort and no one is talking about it.

I have a written routine this year and although that’s not the only thing that’s changed, my command has been miles better
What’s the routine?
Bro, this is a MASTERCLASS. 👏🏾
I appreciate that!
1:15 yeah I got a good laugh out of that 😂

Great video, I love the idea of blowing up the center of the catcher
It's super helpful in most cases!

I’ve seen quite a few videos that make contra lateral tilt out to be bad. What can make this cause injuries?

At 21:34 where can I find the rest of the video?
You just blueballed 100 years of baseball coaching with that just kidding after the “just throw strikes”
I have good control and velo but when the batter gets on the box i lose everything
Then you don't actually have either...
great!
coach day if you’re reading this i’m working on it
Baseball is the sport

Jesus took the mound and I hit a tank off him
Jesus can't hit a curveball
Praise God
Why on a baseball vid?
Amen
I love what you are saying but you are speaking too fast. Too much tech info to absorb. You can slow it down and be more effective. Please........
Just change the speed on the video
What it 10x. Master the material by watching it many times.
