I did this exactly for about a month and a half, I was also alternate day fasting. I started at 141 lbs and dropped down to 123 lbs all while eating whatever I wanted. (I also did a little more exercise on the side just to help with toning arms, stomach and butt, nothing too extreme.)
If you don’t mind me asking how many reps and weights was you using to tone up? I’m just curious as I’m trying to do the same as well
@@mariah2349you might wanna ask more about the diet than the exercise if that's your goal 😂
@@mariah2349 I have a large 20lb cushioned bar that I would use to do squats, hip thrusts, leg raises..etc. and without the bar I would do donkey kicks, reverse crunches, planking. Idk how to describe the arms or what it is called though, holding my arms out making circles then flaps then up and downs..etc. also used the weight bar for my arms too for lifting both curls and straight up like a weight bench. Also, I usually didn't do a certain amount of reps of any of it. I just did as many as I could and then pushed 10 more past the burn after it got hard.🤷🏻♀️ The results were great for me but I need to get back to it because I lost it. I gained a few pounds back and lost the definition but that's because I quit. The alternate day fasting and hour a day on the treadmill did a lot for weightloss. I was fasting 36 hours then giving myself a 12 hour eat window then repeat for a month or so. I don't recommend it for everyone, it is great for autophagy though and dropping weight fast. If you do attempt it you can have water on the fast. No calories. Plain water. Tea or coffee is okay too but only plain, no sugar, no cream..etc. plain. So I stick to just water. Also it is much easier to start fasting if you gradually eat less each day before you start that way it isn't such a big change when you stop eating for 36 hours. Also, big tip, don't even try if you are addicted to caffeine. The migraines suck ! Kick the addiction first.
@@jamesmacker You don't need to worry about diet when you fast. I would eat whatever I wanted during my eat windows. As long as you don't overdo it because of cravings.
What is alternate day fasting? Can you explain more? I’ve never fasted before
I’ve been going at 15% incline and between 3.5 - 3.7 mph for about two months now. Started at 250 lbs and dropped down to 226 as of today. Target weight is 185 - 190 lbs. I’m currently on my way to the gym to keep the cardio going.
LET’S GO!!!! 💪💪💪💪💪

Can confirm. Did this for 3 months 1 day a week. Was already losing weight from eating intentionally. Lost 20 pounds in 3 months. You will have more toned legs and have better stamina when walking distances
What speed were you on and how long did you do this for in that day?
Yea the incline is the game changer
Frfr💯💯💯
Incorporate walking backwards on it too. You'll feel a burn in your hip abductors!
Nah, it's torture. I'll leave it at no incline while jogging. :)
Tried this yesterday and felt so energize, will try and do it consistently!
Yes!
High intensity burns muscle steady state cardio for long periods burns fat
I do this for an hour at 15% 5 days a week but at a speed of 3.5-4km because I'm 151 cm lol. I've lost 20 kilos in 3 months and I've recently started strength training and i can do Bulgarian split squats without any joint paint. My legs are just so much stronger in general. Running is sometimes overrated for the average person
omg, you're eating it! 🔥

15% incline 3.8 mph for 30 mins 660 calories burn 🔥
How its 660 calories. İsnt 3mph = speed 3 on tredmill?
@@ulkers.8254yes but incline drastically increases the burn ^^

I've lost 40lbs so far and I'm flabby😂I'm starting a gym membership tomorrow morning, I need muscle💪💪💪
Done this with 15% incline for 4 hours( spend out during the week) last week along with eating 1500 calories every day and I lost 7 pounds in 1 week
Today was my first day on treadmill I am almost a teenager and I set my treadmill to 6% incline and 3mph speed and sometimes I turn it down to 2mph speed because sometimes I get tired easily. So once I get more used to my original incline and speed I could increase the incline but keep the speed. Thank you for the advice I will save this video for oater when I get on the treadmill!!❤️❤️
Yes! Good luck✌️
If you wanna burn fat and keep muscles... eat enough protein while in a caloric deficit. Make sure its a variety of protein sources or protein powder to cover all EAAs!
Still do cardio though good for the heart, endurance, and burning more calories, which makes dieting easier / lets you eat a bit more. If walking isnt your thing, theres plenty other kinds of cardio too. STRONGLY suggested but not required!
Yes !! i always do this before and after my workout !!! this and/or stairs
I was in what I thought was great cardio shape and went hiking in Boulder, and couldn’t walk the next day!
I am doing this for 2 hours + little bit gym exercises (weight and dumbbells) just for posture and arm toning. I hope it works.
Just did this and burned 300 calories in 30 minutes. Crazy. 🤯

A true inspiration to us
I started this week, walked on the treadmill 5 times. I’m severely out of shape with 1 flat foot.
First time I could only do 0 incline, 3 mph, 15 mins.
Second time, 0 incline, 3 mph, 30 mins.
Third time, 1 incline, 3 mph, 30 mins.
Fourth time, 2 incline, 3 mph, 30 mins.
Fifth time, 4 incline, 3 mph, 20 mins.
I’m not there yet, but every time I try again I’m closer to 12. Keep going everyone! 💪🏼👍🏼
I am dead at 10 minutes.. this is really intense!!
Oh yes!
But how? I stopped at 3 mins.😂
As someone who regularly walks/jogs on the treadmill, I would recommend maybe slowly building up to a 12% incline and 30 minutes to not burn yourself out. I find even a 9 or 10% incline a lot 🙂
@@preciousprecious7360Keep doing everyday your body will get used of it i use to die at 10mins as well now i do 30mins
12 incline is athletic level.. Not good if your obese very harsh on your body

Steep inclines hurts my calves too much i can't do hiit days afterwards. And i've only been doing 6-8% incline at 5-7kph for 60 mins straight 3 times a week for the past month.
sounds like something I will definitely try! thanks❤
the only problem is that my treadmill doesn’t incline
Any tips for beginners??? Directly how can we incline at 12%, there should be some order no.
I’m a beginner too. I know it’s a ‘tiktok challenge’ to do for 30 days, but I would like to do this longterm and want to be safe while doing it. I’ve watched quite a few videos that say start at the 3mph speed and the incline you are comfortable with, slowly see if you can increase the incline during the workout, and it is okay if you hold on to the trailing for 30% of the workout.
Right now I’m at a 4.5 incline, started at a 3 incline a week ago and having been moving up in .5 increments doing 3 mph the whole time. They also pointed out that some people that are shorter may need to start out at a lower mph bc their stride length is smaller.
12% incline is incredibly steep and 3mph is a very brisk walk, do not be discouraged bc active people struggle doing this. It seems like most people have to gradually build, just make sure to stretch before and after walking. Best of luck!
I would say start with the speed 1.5 and gradually increase, just keep in mind incline is very important, if you need help decrease the speed and slowly after a few days start increasing the speed, that's how I started 😊
I’m literally literally on the treadmill now

no, it's about 6-7⁰.
So it’s 30 min? What if you u do it longer? Is it recommended?

I’ve been doing this for 5 days so far I always do this after my workout

i didn't know that's how incline works??... actually i didn't know it had any use....so you mean i have been doing it all wrong....wow😊
How do we lose but fat and thigh fat on treadmill
What about sprinting 🤷♂️🏃♂️
It grows your apetite and gets you tired faster so it may stop you from doing the rest of your workout correctly cuz who wants to lift weights when they feel like they didn't sleep for 5 nights
Can you achieve the same result in 15 minutes instead of 30 by increasing the speed to 6???
Nice question ,I also have same one !!!
Its very hard
Maybe ull burn more
At 6mph, you wont be able to walk. You have to run at incline 12 (which is dangerous I must say).
I do 15 minute speed 9
Does this make your thigh thinner? 😅
A lil, yes

But my trainer Said not to do for more than 5 mins
I dnt want to lose weight I just want to lose my stomach
3mph?!
Yes. Slow with incline is more effective that fast no incline. It takes much more energy on inclined and speeds your heart up..also easier to regulate your breathing, when running or jogging you breath harder causing dry mouth. Incline helps with muscle instead of solely burning calories.
@@mistypedhijust so you know you can drink water when you run also try breathing through your nose that helps. Also running / walking outside is much better for you

6kph
Mp means miles per hour
Approximately 3 x 1.62.
This would double the length of my 1-hour walks... How do you burn fat off of something like that? Genuinely asking
any exercise burns fat. you just need a cal deficit diet to not gain as much back.
try it. you will sweat profusely.

To actually not kill your gains while doing High Intensity cardio (like running)you should make sure:
Eat enough calories so that you don't go to excessive caloric deficit because of the cardio
Exhaust yourself before doing strength training

4,8 km/hour
12 3 30 lauren giraldo
