I know alot of people have 1 time of day they can work out so here’s a few tips. 1) Don’t do cardio before weights. You can do a light 5-10 minute warmup session, but heavy cardio should be at the end of your workout if you do it. 2) Don’t do heavy cardio every day. The amount of cardio someone should do varies by person, but I generally do moderate-heavy cardio 3-4 times a week. 3) Don’t use cardio to replace a diet. A lot of people trying to lose weight think that “I can run the calories away”. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. Hopping on the treadmill definitely helps, but the war is won in the kitchen.
That’s bc the body finds it easier to liquify muscle instead of fat so that why you have to have spacing if you are lifting weights. I found this out last summer bc I can run 2 miles in 12 minutes, but my legs were as slim as the start of summer compared to my upper body which I gained 20 lbs of muscle
I got down to about 6% BF just lifting and dieting. I made incredible gains with no cardio and a 4 day bodybuilding split. I started boxing and lost every single ounce of those gains and a crazy amount of strength in about 3 months.
150 minutes of cardio a week is recomended which is easily over 2k when jogging at average speed, eat smart and do cardio u will not lose muscle mass...level one thinking.
Okay and what can we do if we’re not a fitness influencer with the time to make two separate workouts per day? But instead a regular person? I work out 4-5 days per week for two hours each time. I’d need to quit my job to double that.
If your goals aren't serious bodybuilding or to gain as much muscle mass as physically possible and your goals are just to be healthy and lean cardio isn't gonna affect your gains as much as these people make a big deal out of, you'll be fine if you do your cardio with your workouts lol
@@Romeoz06 I run 2 miles everyday under 16 minutes and that seems to be helping me and seeing good results but I only did 3 days a week, 25 mins per day when I started. Not expert just sharing what has helped me.

i need some advice guys i have started running 3 months ago so i builded up some cardio and consistency and became able to run for like up to 5-7 kilometres for 30-40 minutes. I eventually started running almost every day with my calistenics workouts regularly plus boxing sessions so the problem is that as a fit guy i lost some few kg's due to caloric deficit. I want to run every day because i get so much energy from that and my day starts fresher but i can't eat that mych i guess to maintain my weight and do so much cardio from just running and boxing...Some advices should i run smaller distances on a daily basis or what. Thanks and stay hard ☝🏻🥊🌊
Bruh wtf is this? Nobody is going to workout twice a day unless you’re a masochist or a top level athlete. Just stick to doing cardio right after your weight training.
That might work out very well if you don't work 12-hour shifts, have a house with a fairly big yard to take care of, a family, appointments, and various other responsibilities.
I do high intensity cardio twice a day I run two miles in the morning then around the middle of the day I do my strength training then I'll do my cardio . What do you think about that boss?
Even though I do two types of intensity cardio 1 in the morning run strength training in the middle of the day and then at night before going to bed is cardio and that is burpees . So then I should just do one cardio a day right?
What I did in the army was long run for pt in the morning. Heavy lifting in the evening, than sprints after lifting ( sprints about 3x a week, long runs 5x a week, weight lifting 5-6x a week) and let me tell you, you’ll be very functional to say the least
I run like 2 km under 8-9 mins, and the other 2km slower at 10-10:30 after workout. Will that affect my muscle growth and strength gains, i do like 120+ pull-ups of different variations each session and I'm an ectomorph.
Should I do cardio while skinny?, if yes how do I not lose weight and maintaining my weight while doing cardio and still gaining muscle mass? Im very new to working out
