I just got my neutron from the last drop on May 13th today and Holy crap, is it one of the best knives I have ever had. Got it cause of your review and can’t be happier.
Great video and list sir. Glad to see you're still digging the Ace Biblio. 👍🏻 Another killer Vox design, the Fox Suru is also one of my top "small knives" of all time.
I'm sure there will be many comments offering up viewers' fav's that you didn't cover, so might as well offer mine. Steel Will Piercer. Big little knife... Enjoyed your overview!

Reminds me I need to get the larger Ritter one of these days, and also one of those sweet solar chargers all the hip unboxing bros seem to be unboxing these days.
The TRM Neutron is still hard to get. Yes, you get the email but if you have to be able to move on it within MINUTES of going live. Guess how I know? Right in the middle of the work day, too
You don't think civivis have too much choil? I stay away from them just because of that signature big choil. If you ever try to cut fabric or rope you'll find yourself getting snagged a lot. It's annoying.
I got my red TRM Neutron this month pretty easily. That being said, they did sell out quickly but I don't think they had many ready to go after being closed for so long.
These are just my size...better if they are budget but about 3” size is where I’m at. I really like your reviews and hope you get back to your 2 a day. If not...I guess I can live with once a day...lol.
I never understood the infatuation with fancy plastic scales or frn. I understand its super light but it just doesn't feel that great in hand when compared to the g10 variants.
It is a great knife. Not sure how much you've got to use yours yet but I've found the edge retention on that D2 to be superb. They really did a good job. Thumb studs are a bit too proud and the handle a bit too small though. My only real gripes with it.
I just got the S35VN Terminus XR and I really was very pleasantly surprised how good it was! The action isn't as sharply *snappy* as some flippers, but it still has that fling and fires out well. I thought it would be more like the mini-grip that's too small for my hands, but it was just big enough to give me good finger real estate. I had never heard of the Feldspar, though. I wish it wasn't D2, I'd buy one even if it was AUS8 or 14C28N something. CJRB intrigues me but D2 isn't stainless enough for my environment/use.
got a sog terminus D2, if all you do is fidgeting with it, i wouldn't go crazy on it, thumb studs are tall and eat through my fingers, detent is stiff cuz they don't have much experience with an axis lock design, don't blame them tho.
the middle of your list doesn't exactly match my tastes and opinion, but i think you absolutely got the number 1 spot correct..... That is until the 565-1 Mini Freek launches in 13 days, 23 hours, and 50 minutes... then you might need to make room at the top of your list for it.
You should really try the Kizer mini Shoal, it's awesome. I have both of the M390 versions, they're doing a modestly priced S35VN regular production of it now. the milled one is super cool, and the smooth one is the best action from a Kizer I have handled.
Great list, lots of excellent choices. I also have the CJRB mini feldspar and absolutely love it. If you could only have one, which would you pick between Para 3 and the mini Hogue?
For XL hands, I think the Para 3 LW (now in SPY 27!) is probably the best bet. But I still can't get over how ugly I think it is. Of the rest of these, which would you say is best for bear paws?
I love my Native 5 even though it's not a fidget knife. Super comfortable in the hand, great slicer and just feels super solid. If you can get one in REX 45 steel, jump on it. That is tough as nails.
I am totally on the fence with the Para 3 Lightweight because of steel models. Is the BD1N worth the $98 or wait and get the SPY27 at $140? Which is the better value?
Had a Para 3 LW and couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. Kept the Sage 5 Frn. Better slicer, far better feel, and it ain’t that much heavier. Just my opinion. If you are going Para 3 no matter what then I would wait for the Spy27.
Mr. Dicey, I didn’t know we were at 3 inches in Rochester. Good to know. Also as forThe spy 27 steel, is that the one with cobalt that’s coming out? And what have u heard about it??????
In my state of Missouri and my city of Festus it is 4 inches or less I ask the police chief about automatic knives and he said that automatic knives are fine and he doesn't see a problem with it unless you're being aggressive. Even though Missouri is not allowed automatic knives outside of the home the police chief of my town in Festus Missouri said it's okay
I'm not trying to be a dick man, but you should work on that grammar. I'm having to work way too hard to understand your comment, and I still really don't. Are you saying the police chief said that medics exclusively are allowed to carry automatics? You brought him something?
@@SliceyDicey I know you weren't into the skinny, but the regular also? Shocked. Glad the Half Track got some verbal love. I love my Osseus, but I think the XM edges it out ever so slightly
If my sage 5 was that “drop shutty” I’d love it but it’s not so I literally hate it. I’ve tried damn near everything to mess with the pivot and still no go. Only thing left is to send it packing
Hate a knife cuz it doesn't drop shut... by far the gayest thing I've ever heard. Must despise fixed blades because you can't "Play" with them. You like knives for all the wrong reasons.
Need to Change the Name of this Channel to Screen Out the riff raft like me. The new Channel Should Be Called: PRICEY SLICEY DICEY! You had 2 I could afford. Bur poor guys should shop a Walmart and I do.
I got my first Civivi, the Asticus an that is one fine ass knife! One I could kiss everyday, or at least carry everyday, diffently a fine ass knife! An anyone who doesn't agree well you can have my ass too kiss! Lmao!
Great video Bryan, 3inch is right in my wheelhouse! I understand and agree with your choices.. Here's one from outside the box... Fox Tur, carbon fibre and elmax.. 200 buck at most. Its one worth trying.
The Chris Reeve small Sebenza 21 carbon fiber Insingo, is at the top of small knife edc rotation. I also carry the Hinderer Half Track often.
Man...the Terminus XR saved SOG as a brand for me! Great recommendations Bryan!!

I have a Native 5 in S90V with fluted cf scales, what a beautiful folder and it fits my hand like a glove, I dig that Spyderco.
I have the fluted titanium native 5. imo the fluted ones look absolutely amazing.
Reminds me I need to get the larger Ritter one of these days, and also one of those sweet solar chargers all the hip unboxing bros seem to be unboxing these days.
I have one available if interested

Thanks for making so many EDC top 10s
Wow that's the cleanest that I have ever seen your rat knife. Love your list and thank you for the heads up on the charity action.

The mini Griptilian is one of my favorite smaller EDC knives. My wife just got me the full size as an anniversary gift 😁
I have the all black D2 version and I absolutely love it! Black G10, black D2, and the ergos and weight are great
The cjrb mini feldspar is a total knockout! Bearings.. Camfered..g10.
Powder d2 real satin
Wow!
Gotta love those neutron slicey scales!
My favorite by a large margin is the MBK EZC. Yes, it's no longer available but I think a new model is coming soon. Can't recommend it enough.
Great call! Love my EZC (and XLC).
I'm just the opposite. I was completely underwhelmed by the para 3 LW. I went back to the regular. To each his own.
I never understood the infatuation with fancy plastic scales or frn. I understand its super light but it just doesn't feel that great in hand when compared to the g10 variants.
I like the QSP Penguin. $30 from dealers and $24 from Drop. D2 with micarta scales. Very slicey knife.
It is a great knife. Not sure how much you've got to use yours yet but I've found the edge retention on that D2 to be superb. They really did a good job. Thumb studs are a bit too proud and the handle a bit too small though. My only real gripes with it.

That’s a nice selection 👍 my personal favorite 3” knives are the Fox Tur and the Viper Novis with natural micarta 👌
a few more, crkt pilar lg, artisan wren, benchmade mini freek, and the boker+ xs drop( mainly for you when you go to Europe)
You just can't beat the good ole Rat-1... The Terminus is becoming one of my new favorites though. I've carried it more recently than anything else. 🍻
You really can though.
I love these videos man. 👊

Some really good picks Bryan 👌
FF Gent is another super solid choice
Killer knife. I recent grabbed one of the Mini Archbishops from FF too. Love them both, by the Gent is awesome. 👍🏻

I am LOVING my new Ritter mini
i domt hve one yet. if you could onky have 1 which would it be?
Good list. I have 8 of the 10. I really like the Giant Mouse Iona. Think I would have the Native5 on mine as well.
Ferrum forge gent
2 buck knives and a Browning . On sale , the 2 bucks half price 15 cnd before taxes , lock blade and belt clip . The Browning 35 cnd before taxes.
Great list, lots of excellent choices. I also have the CJRB mini feldspar and absolutely love it. If you could only have one, which would you pick between Para 3 and the mini Hogue?
Great list. I am loving my mini Ritter too.
Tangram Vector honorable mention?
Love the knife
Gotta love the kershaw leek as well.
those lavender scales are great
Great list amigo
Ken Onion Leek for the money is a pretty nice knife too.
The Native 5 and the new mini Doug Ritter (in place of the mini griptilian) would have been on my list.
The mini Ritter IS on the list
Love you videos! New to the channel but I have noticed no one reviews The James Brand knives. Thoughts?
For XL hands, I think the Para 3 LW (now in SPY 27!) is probably the best bet. But I still can't get over how ugly I think it is. Of the rest of these, which would you say is best for bear paws?
Great list!
In the time it takes to swap out the scales on the nuetron they are sold out!
Cheap as chips I thought I dosed off and woke up in a Luv them knives video. 😲😆😂
No chaparral (chappie) love on this one? I guess it's in the sub 3 inch category. Cant wait for the para 3 lw spy27 to drop.
What about the Native 5? I'm trying to decide if I should buy one.
I love my Native 5 even though it's not a fidget knife. Super comfortable in the hand, great slicer and just feels super solid. If you can get one in REX 45 steel, jump on it. That is tough as nails.
Potato Eater
Amen brother! Native 5 compression lock would be awesome.
Love that Hogue....
Under 2.5 next?
Could you help me decide between the normal or mini doug rittter?
I am totally on the fence with the Para 3 Lightweight because of steel models. Is the BD1N worth the $98 or wait and get the SPY27 at $140? Which is the better value?
Sage 5LW 😏

Depends on the purpose. I prefer 3.5” to 4”. Just me.
I really need to go check out one of those new SOGs
Jamie D Be careful of the pocket clip. That is my only complaint with it. The clip goes over the knife and your pants can end up stuck in it
I like the mkm timavo
I didn't think there was a knife length limit anywhere in Canada Kevin? I guess that must be another one of those myth. 😎
Need to get a Para 3 in hand. For size reference the Kershaw
Atmos is a three finger knife for me. :/
Mr. Dicey, I didn’t know we were at 3 inches in Rochester. Good to know. Also as forThe spy 27 steel, is that the one with cobalt that’s coming out? And what have u heard about it??????
Haven't heard much yet at all. And yeah. That's the law technically, but no one cares.
In my state of Missouri and my city of Festus it is 4 inches or less I ask the police chief about automatic knives and he said that automatic knives are fine and he doesn't see a problem with it unless you're being aggressive. In Missouri also. Is that just for Featus? Statewide autos are legal to carry.
@@Imac0728 possibly yes. What state?

So I made a comment about how I put brass scales on my para 3 and you said the weight would be unbearable... you were right, it’s sold
You and my wife NEVER listen to me!!! ;)
No mention of a Benchmade Valet or Proper?
My favorite is the TRM Neutron I just wish the made the Adam ambidextrous 😞😞😞
Was expecting this video to consist entirely of different forms of the 3" XM18
Actually don't care for that one!
@@SliceyDicey I know you weren't into the skinny, but the regular also? Shocked. Glad the Half Track got some verbal love. I love my Osseus, but I think the XM edges it out ever so slightly
I'm so not into that SOG. It just looks so cheap to me.
One video a day is still insanely good. I used to run a meme page, and coming up with an original meme a day got to be too much after a few years.

Well I won't be able to get in on that auction. I just ordered my first hinderer so my knife buying is on hold for a while.
You say “a whole lot” a whole lot. Lol. Great video as always.
No love for the Civivi McKenna? Your daughter won't be pleased ;)
Was the last one to get cut for something else honestly.
Skinny finger tips sir ☝🏽 lol
aww my LUDT didn't make it!!!
Another great review! I sent you an email if you get a chance to look it over. Thanks
3” is all you need. Not what she said! 😏
Please tell us where they are made when talkling about them.
are the rats usa made? i know ontrio is but do they farm the production of these to china?
