I almost had the chance to see them last week... but I forgot it was happening until the day before, and tickets were $250... Decided I'd go to see Lorna Shore this past weekend instead. The thing I love about EC is the fact that they don't take themselves seriously. They just breed positivity and fun in all aspects of their lives. I love their songs so much it's just fun and gets you ready to party, I love the version they did with the other German Comedy band We Butter The Bread With Butter, it's so brutal which just makes the juxtaposition with the video even funnier. I agree with everyone recommending We Got The Moves.
Saw these guys live about ten days ago. Still running on adrenaline and good vibes today. It was totally worth the sunstroke, the whiplash and the dislocated shoulder hahaha
Guide on what reactions we also definitely need: "We Got The Moves", "Pump It", "Tekkno Train", "Arrow of Love" And not to forget their german song "Castrop X Spandau" which they made with their friend and youtuber "Kalle" Koschinsky (who is responsible for the dance choreographies, you can see him in the end of hypa hypa, hes the one with the $ chain around his neck) in like 48 hours (song + video!) Their "older" songs "MC Thunder" and "MC Thunder 2" featuring the german youtuber Hänno "HandOfBlood" who is famous for always dressing up appropriately for the games he is playing are also fan favourites.
You should check out some of the covers of this song - there were enough made for an EP, if not a full album. My personal favorites are by Saltatio Mortis and Axel One.
@@tkoi4382 Yes! The things I like about Axel One's version were that it was so different from the rest, as well as being completely different from everything else I've heard from him. But We Butter The Bread With Butter is just absolutely classic as well.

Anything they've recorded since Nico (the singer in the blond wig/robot walker in white) joined the band is gold. Also, go back and watch the breakdown paying special attention to David, the drummer. He stands ON THE KIT and just beats the holy hell out of the crash cymbal. 😂

That scream you mentioned is called a pig scream or pig squeal, because it resembles a pig. :D EC did a collab with several other bands to cover Hypa Hypa in their style of music from soft pop with Sasha to super brutal. I recommend listening to the versions of Saltatio Mortis (german folk metal band) and the version from We butter the bread with butter (heavier than the original EC version) they also have awesome music videos which are hillarious funny.
Okay I never expected you to cover EC, even though I love them. You're usually more lyrics-oriented, and Hypa Hypa is more about just being silly fun. Anyway, I wouldnt complained if you decided to dive deeper into that rabbit hole ;) They even have some serious songs where you can go for the lyrics, like "Mindreader". You should check out the Hypa Hypa challenge they put out. A bunch of different bands remade this song, a lot of them with electric callboy in the videos. There is a classical take, country take, all types of music. My favorite is from We Butter The Bread With Butter. So much harder than this version, and the video is just as fun.
Always going to comment on Electric Callboy reactions, Hypa Hypa really got me going on the "binge reaction videos" thing, after which I started watching Eminem reactions, which is how I found you (which is how I found Ren whose reactions I'm now binging, full circle), so it's some of my favourite things coming together. As was said before, please go down the rabbit hole. We got the Moves, MC Thunder 1 & 2, Pump it!, Hurrikan, Hate / Love and many other videos are great.
