Yeah, that was a dick move
Not to mention the spoiler warning after showing the death of a recurring character first.

Too bad The Boys Season 2 sucked and was an sjw nightmare. Seth Rogen is a far left low information voter like the rest of the Hollywood troglodytes.

I've always wondered why Homelander and Stormfront are both so calm in that situation. Even though they see themselves as basically invincible, something *clearly supernatural* is randomly murdering everyone around them.
Are they just *that* narcissistic, thinking: "Even this weird head-popping ghost can't do anything to me!"
Well they're not laughing and sit still at least, Homelander got jumpscare at first but after that he's just confused, after watching the show, my guess that he was looking around for the killer (someone remain calm,..ect) he also suspect Stormfront but his final conclusion is Edgar
He is the Homelander.

And somehow amidst all of this the most disturbing scene is Homelander drinking milk.
For real that scene had me writhing almost as much as The Deep getting his gills fingered
@@joshkirkman6975 I'm gonna be honest, I chickened out and skipped that scene after a few seconds. And by skip, I mean went on my phone until it was over.
Snapped that to my friend, and he was immediately "What show is that?" and started binging it. I was worried :P
What about Homelander trying to have sex with himself and them killing... ehm, himself? But even then I'm sure there's a More disturbing scene.
I agree
I can’t imagine painting out someone’s cold weather breath. I wouldn’t even know where to start.
You just use the breath removal brush duh
Probably start at the mouth?
I would paint the background on top of the breath, instead of literally removing the vapor..
probably film the scene first
Of the 5 vfx guys I know, only 1 is skilled enough to erase smoke/particles/ frozen breath on that scale. It's difficult work.
The CGI-team on The Boys bétter get a fair share of Awards for their ástonishing work! 90% of the 'controversal SHOCK' these scenes created, are delivered by THEIR impeccable artwork and dedication!

The queen sand gobbler scene from Love and Monsters is a real goodie.
All the monsters in love and monsters are goodies
you guys forgot about the part in episode 1 season 1 where the guy runs through the girl I wanted to see how they did that tbh. That slow mo was amazing
I loved that scene cause it was the answer to the classic question. What if someone/something moves really fast and hits someone? Well there ya go
That scene had me in a state of shock a good 2 minutes after it was over
I forgot where, but I believe they said it was purely CGI. Normally the guy we just saw in the video would have been against that, but they were like "I got you fam, trust me" and it worked.
Simple: There were no effects. He literally ran through her. Great acting all around, but RIP the girl.

I think you guys should react to “The Expanse”
I just finished watching the Boys S2 last night so now I can finally watch this!
The headpops in season 2 were honestly the most visceral, uncomfortable gore I have ever seen in cinema. Brilliantly executed and work so well as dramatic relief to the oppressive tension of the show.

Imagine being the guy that approves everything. “Okay, so, this episode...I’m going to need a full scale animatronic whale that we can also film inside of... and we need to create a rig that we can ram a boat through it..”
Imagine being the person approving the budgets for this show. “You need a full scale animatronic whale?”.
Goes to show that the studio is actually letting them make a good show.
@@Fathom_VTuber I would assume the budgets are decided beforehand. Like you have 10 millions to film 15 episodes and maybe a couple of more if it's deemed completely necessary.
@@txcforever They pick and chose what episodes get the effects budget. Notice how some shows are just in mom's basement, or an office. Maybe one special effect. Then the next show is a giant set piece that could fit in a theatrical film like the whale.
@@txcforever I still think it’s funny that someone, somewhere had to sign off on an exploding rubber whale 😂

I love how extensive the practical effects were. Hats off to the team.
Jokes aside, The Boys is the best superhero shit I've seen. You would enjoy this if you hate superheroe movies, and you would love it if you are into superheroes. Its funny, dark, and got an amazing villain.
The creator of the Boys is known for HATING super heroes.
I'm more of a centrist, I love superhero media and the boys is in my top 5 for any superhero related media
I love superhero movies and I love the boys more
Facts. I do not like superhero movies or shows at all but the boys is a really good one
oh yeah it is definitely hands down the top of the the pile when it comes to superhero stories. I mean honestly I think it's elevated itself beyond the superhero genre and and placed itself amongst the most prestige television, _especially_ now after the conclusion of season 3 which was nothing short of incredible.
but there are a good number of people who hated it, I seen some people go as far as to call the season filler because technically the characters end up in the same spot they were in in the premiere, and I think a lot of these people who share this same opinion are just your average everyday superhero fans who aren't used to their characters undergoing significant development or change, instead they're used to the epic plots that are normally more important than the characters themselves and the epic fights neither of which are often very thought-provoking which is why I don't hate the MCU, but I don't really think they're much of anything special beyond being fun popcorn flicks you you go see with your friends.

YAOOOOO don’t know if you guys have gone over this yet but, I’m intrigued to know what you guys have to say about the Irishman’s de-aging in comparison to the deep fake for DeNiro that came out a lil while back! Much love
I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was impressive but the age of the actors still really affected my immersion to the film. I mean like yeah they look younger, but not anywhere close to as young as they're supposed to be in certain sequences. perfect example being the flashback war scene where Robert De niro's characters supposed to be like 20 years old yet he looks at least 40 and moves like he's about 70. really it was the physical performances that really took away from the authenticity and believability of the de-aged actors. I mean you can use all the quite impressive de-aging technology all you want and try saying Robert De Niro is as old as you want - 40, 30, 20?? - but you can't de-age the way he walks and carries himself and like an old man, which when both combined together produce quite the uncanny visual experience.
and this may be a hot take but I honestly didn't really like The Irishman, it wasn't bad but it was extremely boring and it just felt like Martin Scorsese trying to recapture that lightning in a bottle except with both Pacino and DeNiro but imho it was too little too late. and boy did I really want to like that movie but oh well it's not a big deal, score says he definitely has worst movies in his filmography. now the movie he's got in the works currently with Leo DiCaprio and Brendan fraser - killers of the flower moon or something like that - definitely has me quite interested and have high hopes for it

I highly suggest taking a look at the 1975 Norwegian movie Pinchcliffe Grand Prix. It is a masterclass in stop motion animation. The movie was made in 3.5 years by a team of approximately five people. The team started in 1970, trying to make a 25-minute-long TV special, which after 1.5 years ultimately didn't work out. It was about one year after the rejection that they got the idea to make the sketches into a full-length film.
