소, 중, 대!! Those words are used a lot in Korea at a restaurant!!! As he mentioned, if the restaurant have those words on a menu, then you can say them. But if not, it would be super awkward to have a order with those word for a restaurant worker!!

So if they don't have them, what should we say? Just 작은 or 큰?

@@user-jc1xl5lj1t Don't worry!! There would be their own size name!!

Wah hahah Yesssss … ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. 😜 I am a Chinese British and am learning both Japanese and Korean together . Korean has many words that are sounds very similar to Chinese 😜. And Japanese have copied many words from Chinese to create kanji . So 😁😁 yes big bonus for Chinese to learn these two languages. 😁😁😁

@@GoBillyKorean Have you tried 깐풍새우? (Fried shrimp in sweet chili sauce). It’s usually like twice as expensive as the 탕수육, but totally worth it! They have it all big Chinese-Korean Cuisine restaurants.

thanks for this. The correction is actually a really great illustration of how knowing the hanja can help! I love it!
Comments about the hanja, words using the same hanja, amusing/interesting stories about the hanja...are all great memory hooks that help me a lot at my early-mid Intermediate level. Two thumbs up.
