While we were at the track with our 7.3L Godzilla swapped Fox Mustang, aka Green Goblin, we figured it would be interesting to see where it stood against some higher horsepower cars. Considering this was our first time out with the car, I thought did well. Like anything, with more seat time, the car will get faster. We're knocking on the door with of 10-second pass.

A few bolt ons & the green goblin goblin will run right next to the other cars
Some twins would be nice!
can't wait to see some gear in that Fox to help it out, Thanks for the Video
Great run on the Godzilla swap super fast street car.😊
Weird about the fox. I had a co-worker in the mid-late 90s that ran mid 11s with a supercharger on his daily driver 302.
prbly limited by the 3.27s.
Pretty impressive for a 3.27 gear and a soft launch. Me personally, I'm a stick guy,so I like to see 4.56 gears...6,000 rpm launches, and wheels off the ground on the launch. Anything less is leaving way too much et on the 60 ft to me 😉
Damn that's impressive wit the green goblin....great content
Awesome vid you guys are the best!
This is such a great video. Thanks for content
Love the content!
That’s the narrows track I’ve ever seen…nice content
3.73 will run tens.
Last time they said the rear gear was 3.27. Just added info
Some bolt ons, a better stall, and gearing will get that sucker in the 10s!
Or leave as is and just slap a 150 shot on top.
Nitrous would be legit. We definitely want to get it into the 10s with the current setup before we go any further with upgrades. -Landan
Great video Ford power forever baby I love keep up the good work
It needs better gears
I second that notion.
Y’all need to come to Texas radial roundup at the Texas motorplex. Last weekend in march beginning of April 1st. Gonna be some fast shit
The blown coyotes were amazing. The fox gets the jump in the first race and the Shelby says "nope!"
I like the s5500 better, but a couple points about the fox:
1. Statement: it would be interesting to see the times if its rear end was 3.55
2. Interrogative: the open windows add all kinds of drag, don't they? Does the Fox have windows yet? It looks like it was hanging up to 60mph or so and then the open windows became parachutes, degrading acceleration.
3. An electric conversion kit to get awd and 10.2 quarters would be appreciated.
You are correct. Having the windows down is not good. We gave Scott a hard time for leaving them down. -Landan
Should come out to the test and tune nights
Justin - We plan on making more of those in the future. -Landan
Y'all just up the road....
Justin viewer? Is there a water box? My only 500 horse Mustang can do a better burn out than that?
Just wondering, what rpm was the GT500's launch control set at?
Same here
@@Fmandan77 2800 RPM. -Landan
All in all what was the price on the swap?
Bryce - Thanks for the question. As with any swap, there are several ways to spend money and do certain things. The control pack and the engine were the most expensive items (as expected). We prefer not to quote or mention prices as this stuff is subject to change. Thanks for understanding. -Landan
All you need to do is change gears. If you want better 1/4 mile time all the green goblin needs is 4.10 gears. I surprised it only had 3.27
The green goblin needs maybe 3.73's and 100 shot of nitrous 👍
The original plan was a big shot of nitrous which is why we opted for the lower (taller) gear ratio. However, we're leaving it n/a for now. -Landan
Hell yeah...
🤔🚫🧢🎬✊️💯💪🏼😈🥶🚙☁️☁️
Needs gears
I totally beg to differ! Put the crappy burn out there was no chance for hooking up properly! Simple arithmetic the weight over the fox body kids new cars to be substantially less!
Idk how the supercharged Mustang performed worse than the GT500
The GT500 is no joke and has a slightly larger engine that is built and tuned for the supercharger it comes with. The Mustang has a supercharger system that is set up to work with the constraints of the factory Coyote engine. Personally, I'm impressed that the Supercharged S550 Mustang can hold it's own against a very well sorted out car like the GT500.
The suspension needs some work so the GTCS can launch better, even in the vid he mentioned that the 60’ needed work. GT500’s come from the factory with a launch control system that’s already dialed in so without some serious tweaking and tuning on the GTCS suspension the GT500 is going to get the jump every time on launch.
