Ponies in the Smokies, also known as PITS, is a Ford Mustang car show that takes place around the Pigeon Forge area of Tennessee. The host site for the car show is the Sevierville Convention Center where you can find inside and outside displays. Some of the best examples of Mustangs are on display at this show! Kudos for not skipping the Mustang II display. Just like all generations of anything less than a V8 GT, that generation gets so much hate. But many forget this is what carried the Mustang through those hard times. There wouldn't be a Mustang without them, just like there wouldn't be a Mustang without the bulk of what sold in all generations, the four and six cylinders, which were actually the original Mustang concept from the beginning.
