May I make a suggestion for future videos? If you could talk a little slower, it would help make your explanations more understandable and accessible and at the same time will encourage patience with the app. 🙏

Yes sir! I certainly will watch out for that. My debate speaking speed is a bad habit I fall in to.😅

I just wanted to share my experience with Anytype. I signed up for the Alpha and was told to wait until June 1st for a video chat with their team. I know there are many note/task software options out there these days, but I'm holding out until after the onboarding call. Please slow down your presentation a tad. The clicking and concepts are second nature to you, but your role/goal is probably to train Anytime for newbies to grow your channel. Im interested in building notes by 'area' or bucket lists with long lists of creative procedures and output decisions, a large, quickly growing amount of education, and a huge list of creative options for the creative processes.

Sounds good! Yes, I've been told I speak fast 😅I should probably put that on a note while I record. I'll do some thinking on how to do that all in Anytype - I'm sure it's possible!

I'm in the Alpha but don't use it much because it's clunky. Looking forward to the beta and hope it's more polished. The idea of Anytype is very exciting, but I'm skeptical after being let down so many times by other apps and companies making unfulfilled claims.

Right; it is a gamble. I'm hoping the beta is much more polished, because the ideas here seem pretty unique. We'll see...

Anytype seems to have a good bit of flexibility without being over complicated. I also like the security/offline focus which more apps need to be doing. I'm tired of spending more time building systems into apps (like with notion) than I actually do getting work done, but I do like the flexibility of being able to building my own system. Hopefully Anytype can capture the best of both worlds!
I've been playing around with Amplenote (www.amplenote.com) recently and it seems like one of the better note-taking / PKM options but I'm going to use Anytype long-term as long as it's what I think it will be.

      Did you try Tana?

@@vanderstraetenmarc I joined the wait list but haven't gotten in

@@vanderstraetenmarc Tana says that when they exit testing, they'll charge a subscription or purchase fee... Even though it's free now, I'm hesitant to put work into it, especially if they make it paid at a point (like now) where money is in short supply. It's unfortunate, because it seems quite high quality.

I'm a huge excalidraw fan. Is there anytype equivalent

Not that I know of, no... I'm not super well versed in excalidraw, but the import capabilities of Anytype (thus far) are pretty limited.
