- Trailer for The Cooler featuring Maria Bello, Alec Baldwin, and William H Macy.
This version of the trailer is a little naff - but don't be put off this is a great film well worth a watch and one of the best films around set in and around a casino.
Lots of action on and around a Craps Table here - so a good intro to the game if you've never seen it played before.

This is one of the best movies.... ever MADE, and I worked in a Casino
does your casino use a cooler?
I just watched this movie with my Dad and let me tell you, what a gem! Las Vegas is like a 2nd home for us and this flick hit the spot. 10/10.
That’s awesome!! This movie is a hidden gem and it has a wonderful blend of comedy (both dark and lighthearted), drama, romance & sadness
Phenomenal movie! The credits at the end are heartbreaking all those old school casinos being demolished made me sad. I grew up in Vegas
I loved the ending! I love how Bernie & Natalie became a couple at the end as well as Larry being the new casino manager
How is this not considered a Classic Film. What an Authentic story. Not a cookie cutter. Dynamic Tale. Film & actors are well done. Don’t need to be a degen to like this film.
This is the most 2003 trailer ever
This is the most misguided trailer I have ever seen. This is a serious movie with a twist, brilliantly acted and heartbreaking. It is in my list of fave films. Watch it!
Such a great movie, I hated Alec Baldwin so much, but the ending is wonderful!
@@TheNeworleanswoman It's one of those "Hidden gem" movies that you find later on. If you like this then you will probably like "Happiness" (directed by Todd Solonz)
I just can't believe this trailer, they made the film look like a wacky comedy, wtf
I mean it would've been more convincing if you just explained why it is one of your favorite movies....
What an absolute dogshit trailer. Its nothing like the film
This is one of those movies that you never forget, like lost in translation
This movie is a great assembly of Lost in Translation, Leaving Las Vegas, The Ice Harvest and Martin Scorsese’s 1995 flick Casino
One of the best romantic Las Vegas dramas. William H. Macy and Maria Bello make great chemistry and this movie has both dark and light-hearted comedy as well
ExCellent movie. Highly recommend
Great soundtrack to this movie
Disclaimer: “No cinematographers were shot and killed during the filming of this movie.”
Excellent performances
I agree. What’s ironic about the main actors in this movie is that they’ve paired up with Ben Stiller. Bello was in Permanent Midnight with Stiller, Baldwin was in Along Came Polly and Madagascar Escape 2 Africa and Macy was in Mystery Men. So all Ben Stiller connections!
This movie takes you on a real wild ride, Alec Baldwin plays such a complete prick that I absolutely hated him! William Macy is the bad luck guy! But then he falls in love! A fantastic movie!
ONE WORTH WATCHING/CASINO SCENE REMINDS ME OF THE OLD LADY LUCK CASINO BACK N THE DAY.
Well, damn I sure can relate to this movie. I've always called it, collateral damage. I am an cooler! The story of my life. The only thing I have ever won of any value when I was 21 was an up scale grave at an expensive cemetery. Coincidentally, some 40 years later my uncle and aunt along with both parents are entombed there. It gets worse. In 2017 I was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, and I am stage 4 cancer. Something that I am very thankful for, it was the best luck I have ever had. Unfortunately, my father died and a week later I'm having chemotherapy. I held off on telling my mother about my disease. But was talked into telling my mother by my older siblings. So I did, she died a week later before the end of my treatment. Those things are just some high lights. My entire 60 years of living has been like that. And yes if I'm too close to people who are gaming there luck changes. And I never gamble. I don't drink alcohol. A flip of a coin guarantees that I will get it wrong more times than 50 50. Oh, I know things could be worse, and are for so many people more than myself. So when I say I'm thankful for things not being worse, I really mean it. But I don't know how much longer I will be alive. I would like to know what it is like to be thankful for good things happening instead of being thankful for things not being worse before I die. So death is the only thing I have to look forward to.😊 It's like death by a thousand cuts. It's like a slow torcher. For the longest time I thought it was just my imagination. A lifetime later I'm not so sure. So if anyone reads this comment, no offense, but please don't tell me about God and Jesus Christ. They/him have made it very clear that I'm not worthy to be a Christian. That's ok, I understand. I don't have to read the bible and pray to do my best for others. I know what it is like to have misfortune. And please don't pray for me. There are plenty of others who need your prayers more than me. I'm not worth the effort.
Just curious why you chose a forum like this about a movie clip to dump all that heavy shit?
Good luck! It sounds to me like you should have a drink!
ur comment just inspired me to write a script
Who do you like in the baseball games tonight?
Customers gamble by playing games of chance, in some cases with an element of skill, such as craps, roulette, baccarat, blackjack, and video poker. ... Casinos sometimes give out complimentary items or comps to gamblers. Payout is the percentage of funds ("winnings") returned to players.
What the hell does "naff" mean? This is an EXCELLENT film. Great story and acting.
Keith
It’s pretty naff
Did this guy ever play JFK? This guy looks enough like JFK to make me believe conspiracy theories that JFK is still alive.
No he didn’t but he was in a movie called Bobby which came out November 2006. It’s with an all-star cast
A great movie. This trailer doesn't capture it at all.
Is this the film that McCartney's MPL had something to do with?
Maria Bello... bellisima!
Go the palace
She is beautiful like Mira Sorvino
Otimo filme. Sempre assito, sempre surpreende. Recomendo
Gimme my cooler! 🤣
Got bored and shut it off. I'll watch Casino again.
Probably best wayne kramer movie.
I agree. What did you think of Crossing Over with Harrison Ford and Ray Liotta?
@@stefanmovieflixtomasi i think good movie.but i also like pawn shop chronicles.
@@tomashlavacek8355I watched Crossing Over not long ago and it was amazing!
fab movie!!
great movie, bad trailer. GREAT movie.
Here’s the better trailer; ruclips.net/video/oATzS3f-iac/видео.html
I liked the trailer better. I believe his character's premise, but we all know that woman would NEVER go for him. Pure fiction.
I guess WHM real wife is The Real Cooler!
I liked the traiker WAY better. Sadly, I don't buy the girl going for him. Sorry. Never in real life, come on. Lol. People don't get involved with their inferiors, looks-wise.
Holy smoke
She is beautiful
Yes she is. The same also goes for Mira Sorvino
After she dumped him, he became twice the cooler
Ha ha ha. He just had to look at you across the casino floor and you’d instantly go bust and when you get home later that night you find out your wife and kids left you.
They made a movie about me.😔
Ha ha ha 🤣
So what do you do for a living? I give people bad luck and they lose everything. That’s real interesting, ahh I gotta go now, nice meeting you.
i didnt know frank was a gambler
B movie,UNDERATED.
omg
BTCS... BEFORE THE COLLEGE SCAM.
VERY misleading trailer! This movie was NOT a comedy!
Idk it's drama but I consider it a dark comedy, but I'm an asshole so...the sarcasm, the hotel wall banging scenes etc good movie none the less
lol you are shameless.
Did I just see the Goddess Amber Heard?
Cool movie with the worst f*cking music score I have ever heard, like a constant saxophone throughout the entire film, can't concentrate because of it, what were they thinking?
Pippy Pappy casino music?
I quite liked the score at the beginning but it did sort of grate the more it went on.
The score was great. It captured Old Vegas.
Interesting, I couldn't concentrate because of it though.
@@Pippy_Pappy but you were able to concentrate on the saxophone music at least 😏
One of the most stupid films i've ever watched
Go and return the videotape of this movie then. Why are you still keeping it?
@@AntonVeliTajan The movie is not terribly important to me..
I was a dealer in a casino a lot like the one in the film. It's not that far off the mark as far as their being suspicious and superstitious. Except they didn't use Coolers, and I don't know that that was done. It is a fine film with great acting by all, especially Baldwin, who should have won the Oscar that he was nominated for. As for realism, that wasn't the point. Watch it again.
