- Casino boss Brian Stanton rates seven casino-heist scenes in movies and television for realism.
He discusses the accuracy of various casino scams and gambling thieves depicted in "Casino" (1995), starring Robert De Niro; "Ocean's Eleven" (2001), with Brad Pitt and George Clooney; and "Ocean's Thirteen" (2007). He also comments on blackjack, poker, and card counting scenes in "The Hangover" (2009), starring Zach Galifianakis and Bradley Cooper, as well as "The Cooler" (2003). Stanton analyzes how casino security deals with cheaters in "3000 Miles to Graceland" (2001) and "Croupier" (1998).
Stanton is a casino boss and director of table games for Station Casinos in Las Vegas. He has over 20 years in the gaming industry and game security.

"There's no secret bunker anywhere."
That's exactly what I would say if I had a secret bunker at my casino.
Congratulations you have been selected among my shortlist winner's for the ongoing giveaway message the name above 👆👆👆👆🏾👆🏾🎁..
I understand tongue-in-cheek, but if you truly believe this than reality does not exist for you.
@@gunsofaugust1971 Is that like a triple negative or do you just talk in riddles?
Wouldn't be very secret would it, I'm sure the government isn't stealing and doesn't have secret bunkers either.
@@kennywilkinson913 That is a big leap. From any particular casino to the government (Federal I assume).
You sought out a video attempting to figure out how realistic certain scenes are. When given a reasonable explaination by an expert, you choose to negate it with a standard conspiratorial phrase.
@@gunsofaugust1971 I didn't seek out nothing, RUclips is for watching content and enjoying it.
Not arguing with utter strangers about totally invalid points.
I suppose prisoners digging tunnels to escape only happens in movies as well, not like el chapo built one with a train track from inside his cell in real life.
I'm sure these casinos keep all their cash in a room above ground level, you're totally right. 👀
They probably don't even lock the door
“Card counting is not illegal, but you’re beating us at the game so we’re not gonna let you play anymore”
Well yeah, casinos don’t want _anybody_ to win, because they only make a profit from people losing. The only reason they don’t rig everything to make it completely impossible for people to win is because the Government won’t let them.
@@Xalerdane I mean obviously. That line is just hilarious to me because of how clearly it demonstrates that casinos are rigged.
That isn’t even what he said… you can’t make a point by inventing a quote that wasn’t even said.
@@DOC_951, that is ultra similar to what he said, but I guess you didn't watch the video.
@@DOC_951 its exactly what he said and it is ridicolous. Also is card counting really that strong like what are your ods if your really good at it?
I love the idea that "it's frowned upon" to be good at the game of blackjack, not cheating, just literally being straight up more skilled than the rest of the table
yeah because the casino can't screw you over
It's basically a risk management decision.
Yes sir! And take it from me. You WILL be politely walked to cash out after being told you aren’t welcome at the location 😂. Happened to me ONCE. Out of dozens of casinos. Also, when I asked why I was being removed they politely skirted the question. Basically, it’s private property and we don’t want you here anymore lol.
Well it’s not better than the rest of the table. You’re not playing against the other people at the table. Just the dealer.
@@Justdont693I disagree. You do have to be careful with other players because some play really badly. I played with an Italian woman that kept hitting small cards until she busted on high cards and kept doing it multiple times in a row. Lost all the players money when the dealer was hitting a bunch of high cards in a row
Whenever someone involved with a casino says, "We don't do that", I immediately don't believe them.
Because you’ve been conditioned by society to view casinos as “the bad guy” even though that isn’t true. Media and society like to portray them as an evil money grubbing entity, simply because people lose money there. That just doesn’t fly. A casino is a place for entertainment. You go there to have fun, and gamble if you want to. No one who has ever lost money in a casino has lost it due to outside forces. People choose to gamble, people choose to use their money there. It’s not the casino, it’s the player. People don’t know when to quit, or just not gamble in the first place. But whenever anyone loses money for any reason they have to blame someone/something else, never themselves.
@@RedFail1-1Casinos manipulate people to gamble. Is it solely the Casino’s fault? No, but they are absolutely partly responsible for a lot of life-ruining addictions.
@@IAmUnderscoreSo if I've never gambled before and I don't plan to, how would I be manipulated to gamble? I'm actually curious.
@@TheHockey991 I'm not a psychologist and I don't know who you are. But it is a fact that casinos spend a lot of time on ensuring people stay as long as possible and spend as much money as possible by doing things such as: removing all clocks and windows, offering free food and drink to customers who their systems profile as potential big spenders, et cetera. It is completely ridiculous of anyone to assert that casinos aren't a dirty, money grubbing business.
@@IAmUnderscore They are as much of a dirty money grubbing business as any other business, I think that's what the guy was trying to stay. Yes, they try to get you to keep playing once you choose to start, but if you don't start gambling you won't lose money. People get addicted to gambling just as they get addicted to alcohol, or other drugs.

It doesn't matter how realistic or unrealistic the casino security, storage, or heist of Ocean's 11 is. It's impossible simply because in order for them to 'walk out' with 160 million dollars, each one of Ocean's crew would have to carry over 300 pounds (136 kg) of cash. That's assuming it was all in 100 dollar bills.
Even if they're just taking half of that, it's gonna be a doozy to carry
Maybe they didn’t miss leg day
10's of millions of USD would make me superhuman for two minutes, I'm sure of it.
True I saw someone saying the same about the people sprinting during a heist in Heat with bags of money
Jeez, you‘re right. I just calculated it to prove you wrong, but yes, $160m weighs A LOT.
I was the 21 dealer in "the Hangover", and I worked in a casino (Venetian) at the time. I was in the business for almost 25 years. I have to say that our scene was more realistic than you give it credit. The movie is a farce, so of course some of it isn't real, like all the attention on the table. But the dealer calling out "splitting fives" is exactly what we do when something strange happens. The scene is so realistic, that you had to point out the pit boss & floorman wouldn't hide their mouths, which is true. But nitpicking. I'd like to be the expert on these casino things.
Ok Keith, no one cares.
OK Keith, I care thank you.
Thanks for your input, Keith. Very interesting!
I also care, thanks Keith
Keith, I care
"you can gain an advantage, and so it's frowned upon." of course it's frowned upon, the house wants to keep their advantage...
someone is actually winning? can't possibly have that!
@@jawstrock2215 "Well, if someone broke the bank, then the casino would have to close, since it would no longer have the necessary funds to payout the rest of the winners. It's selfish and egotistical, really, for winners to keep on going."
---- Casino manager, probably
That's why the casinos in England withhold Phil Ivey's winnings, in the millions, cause he exploited their deck to his advantage!!
Steven Bridges has an awesome series on him learning to card count and going around the US as part of a team. super fascinating if you're interested!
Card counting is statistic, so when ignorant people catch on that you win more than you lose, they can just bet the way you bet, and also win more than they lose. The casino doesn't really care that one person is winning money, because that happens all the time. The casino does care when everyone starts winning, and the blackjack table turns into a losing operation.
The one thing in heist movies that absolutely cracks me up every time is that the robbers will walk in in a stolen uniform, or dressed like Elvis etc, with their face fully in view, then walk right up to a surveillance camera, then the viewer sees the robber character on the camera screen looking DIRECTLY into the camera and THEN the camera gets spray painted. The robber has walked past who knows how many cameras already, and then looks into a camera from two feet away and then spray paints one? Come on. 🤨🙄
These are special memory erasure sprays, similar technology to the ones used by MIB.
I don’t think the reason for the spray paint after having already been observed on camera is necessarily to hide identity. But since it is Hollywood we’re talking about here, the camera gets painted just as the observer is looking away for them to then look back, notice there’s no “feed”, they do the whole ‘tap the screen’ cliché, then do the, “eh whatever”, right before kicking their feet up on the desk & burying themselves back into the magazine or newspaper.
@@OVRxNxOUT Maybe so. Guards/sentries in movies are the absolutely dumbest people on the planet, in every movie.
It's hilarious because spray painting a camera does nothing. They still have the tape. I saw a semi old British bit once where they sprayed the camera and then the security guard on the other end suddenly gets paint spray paint shooting through the monitor into his eyes
The people watching the cameras would have been distracted by his Elvis outfit just like Superman was able to hide his identity with only a pair of glasses.
Casino really sets the bar for realism. When DeNiro walks by the craps table and fixes the tokes so they are offset, it just made me so glad.
lol, "fixes"
That movie has a lot of good moments, but DeNiro's chip-handling in that scene was hideously bad.
What does it do that they're offset?
And the cattleprod and torture scene. Really happened. If you watch history buffs review of casino. They go over the true story behind the movie. And it’s 9.5/10 when it comes to historical accuracy.
18 years ago, I was a croupier in a moderately sized London casino for a couple of years and our security room was more or less a broom closet just off the entrance to the game floor. It was just about large enough for 2 people to sit inside it. They were still able to cover our 20+ gaming tables from that quite small set up though. That security room at 1:37 is pretty absurd.
I worked surveillance and wished our surveillance room looked like that haha. You're right, its generally a dark dusty room thats not appealing to spend 12 hours in at all.
I used to fix the machines in casinos that act like atms, break bills or to cash out you winnings with. Every time I worked on a machine I had a security guard, cage manager and they had to announce it to the the back office security who were watching on camera. Also had to have a gaming license.
Cannot wait for the 3rd episode of why there are no ditches.

Yep came to see if anyone else noticed in the comments.
The count room skim scheme in "Casino" was based on a real thing, but there's a lot about how that worked which was condensed and dramatized for the film.
The real skim was crazy-elaborate--involved false walls that they'd use to hide the skim money, and then someone not related with the count room at all would find another way to get inside the wall and harvest the skim. It definitely did not entail a "fat f--k walking out with a suitcase".
Also the skim mostly involved coins rather than paper money, because the coins were generally sorted and then weighed on balances, and by slipping in fake weights it was quite easy to cook the books.
But that would've been too difficult even for Scorcese to adapt, so the process was simplified for the film. The book the film was based on tells the true story of the skim--it's a very short read and I highly recommend it.
What is the book?

I worked at implementing cash management systems in casinos all over the US & Canada, including many large Las Vegas casinos, and spent much time in the cages and count rooms. The only thing I can't speak to is the surveillance rooms - NOBODY is allowed in there except surveillance staff.
Everything this guy says is 100% correct. Those movies are ridiculous.
I work in a surveillance room and it's just a dark room with a lot of screens up. And usually we are always watching a game or dealing with bullshit
The movies are just that, movies. They aren't documentaries. Creative liberties are going to be taken. It's fine.
Fun fact, I once moved furniture for the guy who was the son of the real life person played by Don Rickles character in Casino. Just a random gig off of Craiglist back in like 2009-2010 or so. He paid us really well.
Id never play at a casino. The odds are stacked against you and this guy just said if your winning they will ask you to leave because "your actions to hot for us". ohhhh well your actions too cold, i won't be wasting my money at a scam business.
in a vegas count room (in small casinos/bars) there is a specific time and day for the counts to take place.
specific items must be worn, only specific persons are allowed in, there are specific procedures to counting and each person has a specific role, and 2 people have to recount each stacker can, and then a third person has to verify as well after the count.
Loved this! The expert kept it so real!
These videos are great! We need more! Thank u Insider!
It’s important to keep in mind how much Las Vegas has changed to a what it is today. There is no more mafia and vendettas, it’s all corporations and Disney.
Disney is a mafia. But yes.
So... nothing's changed pretty much, just names.
@@ahriman935 a bit less violence and murder but just as much robbing and stealing...
The claim that camera-less backrooms don't exist anymore is a flat out lie and I think he knows it. The channel on youtube where a guy goes around counting cards to see what happens proves it. He literally gets taken to a back room. They don't hurt him, but they are physically intimidating him and threatening him. It does still happen and there's no way a professional doesn't know it still happens.
I worked on a river boat casino in Missouri way back. I worked in hard and soft count. One of the best jobs I had.
Love this series, thanks.
“Heard stories of back rooms where people would get roughed up, but we don’t need to do that these days” … yeah okay, totally believe you…
It's too risky to do that these days. Casinos have been hit with multi million dollar lawsuits for even detaining people in a back room, let alone beating them up
"you can't learn card counting in a day"
Yes you can.
Not very well. Not in a day.
The funny aspect is casinos putting the work to get a statistical advantage over players, but frowning upon and removing players that put in the work to beat the odds without cheating.
Congratulations👆💫
Thanks for leaving me comments you have been selected among my random winners hit me up to claim your prize🍾🍾
Exactly. They have it calculated that After about 4 hours of gambling, just about every player will be losing. The advantage is how they make their money. If they allow a player to have the advantage, that's like giving their product away.
Working security at a casino this is a great video. There's so many things in check to keep a lot of these things from happening.
somehow very validating to hear that Casino is accurate in its depiction of... a casino. excellent movie, happy to hear it's realistic, too!
I was surprised by the little security details in Vegas. Looking at the cover for the chips it was locked with an Abloy Protec 2 lock. Something exotic, expensive and difficult to pick.
LPL could handle it. 😆
"Your actions are too good for us" LOL
Casinos are the scammers.
Casinos are Businesses, If someone wins to much it can cause loses, baning people who are just good in the games they play may be unfair but I understand why they do it
I don't think you understand the meaning of the word "scammer" lol
I know this is a nerd reply but as a player, I want to inform you that it's action, not actions. Your action is too good :)
*X-Ray Vision into dude's hand and seeing the dice and his finger Bones*
"So right off the Bat this is a much more realistic depiction"
He says general public thinking they can count cards was a boom for them yet his station casinos are kicking card counters out daily
I recently started binge watching Las Vegas and I kind of giggle after seeing these experts talk about how things really work.
Of course a casino executive would say they don't beat people up in the back room.... anymore :P
I feel like he wouldn't actually know what the successful scams are because if he did...they wouldn't be successful
My uncle was a cooler at the Virgin River Casino in Mesquite Nevada back in the late 90's into the 2000's. I wanted to play at his table and he told me no you do not.
2:54 another thing about casinos are if someone were to win a big amount like that it would stop table play completely while the pit boss came, checked, verified, counted, etc
Congratulations👆💫
Thanks for leaving me comments you have been selected among my random winners hit me up to claim your prize🍾🍾
Yes...I have seen where they do this....or if they want to cool a hot table....checking ID's of anyone under 60 (LOL), tidy up the craps table, etc... All they have to do is slow the pace of the game
"Counting cards is not illegal" but be will blackball you from every casino in our database and attempt to stop you from cashing out.
So that person gives his chips to someone else to cash out....
They can’t legally not cash you out if you are caught card counting
Nobody can stop you from cashing out.
You'd have to be a very good card counter for that to happen. And Casinos prefer to take a risk attempting to catch those than persecute small fry that are not good at it. Why do you think they sell you books that teach card counting?
I can't help but notice he said "we don't need to do that" but never said "we never do that"
Fail to mention the (then) Las Vegas Hilton had their sportsbook robbed for $200k and the thief was never caught.

I still don’t see a justifiable reason for not allowing card counting besides casinos “losing” money and saying we don’t like it. It’s like bro I’m using my brain to play a game. That’s like the equivalent of telling chess players to not think more than 3 moves ahead like, WHAT!? If not tag teaming with other players or using tech or some other form of legitimate cheating I don’t see how thinking is not allowed. Maybe someone explain this to me
Casinos are there to make money, and they will get rid of a customer that is costing them too much. Similar to any other business that realizes the customer is costing them more money than they take in.
Now if your card counting encourages other people to come in and lose money while you barely win, you would be more likely to slide under the radar. But if you make it obvious then the casino crew will act appropriately.
Gambling is carnival games for grownups. You should only really play for the fun of it, because your odds of winning are low.
A casino is a private business. They can choose who can and who cannot play (except for illegal discriminatory reasons).
If a casino allows (good) card counters, they are choosing to lose money. Which no business would ever willingly do.
The difference between chess and casino games is that chess is supposed to be a fair competition while casino games are supposed to be a scam.
@@jliller In chess you are playing against another player and the venue has no stake in who wins (unless some kind of collusion is going on). In casino games you are playing against the casino so they win when you lose.

My friend was at a casino where he was cashed out at blackjack around $8000 and but didn’t know the exact amount. The cashier gave him his money and he went to his room. He got a knock on the door really early, around 7-8am. It was security saying they gave him the wrong amount and need $2500 back. They threatened to arrest him. He was going here quite often. It was astonishing. What if he spent it? He had no reason to believe he couldn’t.
Cool story bruh.
That is hilariously impossible. I got cashed out for $15,000 and the Asian lady behind the counter literally counted out 150 benjamins by laying them on the counter 1 by 1 in stacks of precise amounts while the security stood to the left and right of me in order to escort me out of the building. I had the option to take a check or get paid in cash and I chose the cash for the insta/snap/facebook selfie shot holding out two fans of Benjamin Franklins.
There are a LOT of things wrong with that story, bud.
@@setcheck67 paying out too much money is not impossible. It literally happens all the time. This person's story sounds silly but to assert that someone couldn't overpay just because security is standing there and nthe lady that paid you was focused and didn't make a mistake is nonsense. I once withdrew 2000 bucks from a bank and ask for 400 in 20's. The lady counted out 16 hundred dollar bills then did something else on and answered a co-worker's question. Then counted out 20 hundred dollar bills instead of 20 20's. I thought I just wasn't going to get any twenties and she asked me if I needed it in an envelope. I said yes. I watched her put the money in and then finished up my portion of signing. When I went to pull the money out a few hours later there was $3,600. No one came beating my door down but I returned the money the next day. Overpayment or underpayment happens all the time
Not impossible, happened to a guy at the craps table beside me.. security comes up and says we are kicking you out because we over paid you at the cage.
In "The Cooler" it is mentioned that having a cooler was already seen as outdated in Vegas and Alec Baldwin's character is the only boss to hire one because he's old school
I take it they just show him clips at random and he himself probably doesn't watch that kinda movies
I think it would cringe me out to watch movies about my job that are inaccurate
@@tertiaritus They're movies, they're not documentaries. Certain creative liberties are going to be taken for the sake of the movie.
If you can't handle that then maybe media in general just isn't for you.
Or they’re looking at you because they’re nervous about you finding some reason to fire them. Some people worry that if they do any little thing wrong they’ll lose their job and having someone watching them makes it worse.
Sorta tongue in cheek but I like how he went back to back with the saying card counting is not elaborate to saying how the general public thinks it's easy lol
VEGAS casino boss acknowledging that card counting is NOT cheating NOR illegal and is simply using your head to anticipate but not know for sure what's coming next is huge. This person is well educated in their business and I respect them fully!
5:03 It's bizarre to me that they're allowed to say "You're too good at the game that we set up, so you're not allowed to play anymore."
They often skip the part about you being too good at the game or they just outright say that you're counting cards. If you ask why you're being banned they just say "we reserve the right to refuse service".
A private business can always refuse customers, for any reason.
They can straight up say, "I don't like tall people. You're tall, so get out."
In college I was on a card counting team. The "we're sorry you're too good for us" speech is very real.
The reality is not very glamorous: card counting sticks out like a sore thumb and nearly every dealer and pit boss could tell we were counting (some would even chat with us when we were). None of them cared unless a computer system somewhere said we won too much money and needed to be cut off.
So the trick would be to not go very often and win 20 or 30k, then leave? Don't wait to be thrown out

Great series. I was wondering why his voice sounds so familiar. He sounds like Jon Favreau imo. 🤔😁
I know a guy who runs tables at casinos and he uses the last one all the time. He calls it "No look watching." I guess he just watches the table with his peripheral vison. Makes sense, but he also mentioned he has only caught one person in 13 years...
Interesting how card counting is legal and they all make a point of saying that... but no casino wants you at their tables and will ask you to leave.
What's interesting is that they keep on saying that it's illegal, with the subtext, "If we could make it illegal, then you're God damn right that we would!"
lots of people do think it's illegal or cheating though, I think that's why they all mention it. they don't want you at the table because they can't make money off you!
And even though card counting is legal and you are not breaking the law the casinos will often happily break the law themselves by refusing to cash you out.
Casinos lie to people and say that card counting is illegal. That's why they just ban you instead of having you arrested. Casinos often ban people on mere suspicion; they don't need proof of anything.
@@isthatrubble More to the point they don't want other people to copy your betting patterns. Losing to one person being able to count cards is one thing; losing to an entire table at the same time is a completely different problem.
Acciendentally slides dice on table.
Casino: Tackle him.
I used to work in a count room, but not one in Vegas.
I think the only way Casino would've been more enjoyable is if it was actually an inverted heist movie, where De Niro's character outwits an Ocean's 11 style heist crew with factual tactics on both sides.
As a security guard I can tell you these places hire guards that have 5 or more years of experience...after about two years you're known by all the long time guards and law enforcement. EDIT: found the answer, guess Google decided to be friendly this time. In the US if the dealer shows an Ace or 10-value card they have to check if they have a natural Blackjack, in which case the hand is immediately over before any more player actions. I learned the game on a computer program that did Insurance instead for those situations.
Some casinos do insurance but you’d have to ask to make sure
@@Pttsharpshooterpt Oh don't worry they'll ask you every time haha. They ask before they check the card, and it's not worth it unless you've just laid out your entire savings on one bet.
Because if the dealer has Blackjack then everybody loses immediately. If he's showing an ace then he offers insurance, then checks to see if he's got Blackjack.
It's frowned upon BY CASINO MANAGEMENT
because the rule of casinos is:
If you win you lose
i.e. you get kicked out if you win to many (anything not just blackjack)
So I was at a strip casino and actually witnessed a dealer slip a 1k chip under a stack of $5 to pay off a player on a craps table. Both the player and the dealer looked at me after and gave me a look. So I cashed out of the game and moved to a whole other casino for the rest of the day. I wanted no part of being thought of involved in that mess.
That was a smart decision
It would be very difficult to get away with that as usually, the big chips are monitored by a supervisor at the table. Plus there are two more dealers
@@tonyberk94121 well i was at Bellagio and saw a yellow 1k chip under 4 red $5 chips and it was pushed over to a player and it wasn't staggered to show the cameras. So take it for what it is worth.
I worked for Brian! Great guy
Congratulations👆💫

This guy's pretty smart and pretty accurate, most casino's don't care about the average counter; they'll only bar an pleasant tipping counter if they see them as a threat to that shift's turning a profit. Though some criticisms are modern standards to 1960's casinos.
I think the vault in oceans 11 reflects Benedict narcissism with the over the top vault and the marble inlay
Playing craps, I got hot , rolled the dice for almost an hour without rolling a 7. Everyone at the table was raking in cash. They switched out the dealers, they switched the dice while I was rolling. I’ve never had luck like that again.
The Casino just wouldn't change out the dice without them having been compromised in some way.
@@tonyberk94121 I swear to god. They switched the dice from red to orange ones. I can’t remember if one went off the table. But I do remember they didn’t ask me if I wanted same dice or not. They switched them.
@@tonyberk94121 casinos change out the setups (items used for each game ie, dice, cards, tiles, etc.) every so often, maybe once or twice during an 8 hr shift. each casino varies tho.
@@fsujavi16 Yes, we change cards every 8 hours, but changing dice mid-roll is not good for business. We'll wait to finish a shoe before changing
6:57 did he say "that's how you FINGER out"???? LOL
yo @insider this one gave me an idea - do a Mathematician/physicist rates equations in tv and movies. would be really interesting to have them identify what those equations actually are and whether they are real or not and whether they're related to the subject matter of the scene
I’m now more convinced that they do in fact have a secret bunker
0:45 lmaooooo as a substitute teacher for my local school district, this hits home 😂😂😂 if a kid looking at me while they’re taking a test or whatever, or on a computer, they are almost 100% doing something they are NOT supposed to be doing and just seeing where I’m at💀💀💀 crazy man yall ain’t slick I did it too
I don't go to casinos because the house always wins. Even when the house loses they just say the slot machine was malfunctioning and still win.
I remember a casino heist movie called "Hells Angels 69". The two protagonists are idiots who mess with two organisations you don't want to mess with: LV casinos and the Hells Angels.
Casinos : it’s against the law to cheat us
Also casino’s : we cheat everyone
With few exceptions, casinos cheat *nobody.*
It turns out its also against the law for them to cheat. Who woulda thought?!
Thankfully, they don't need to...there's a neverending stream of imbeciles who line up to make donations.
The most unrealistic scene of hangover card counting is that it’s like an ATM - you shift the edge from house like 51-52% to player 51 ish percent. You still lose - a lot. You’ll just win over time
The placebo effect is very real and powerful. A cooler will work if the gamer knows there's a cooler at the table and believes in his bad luck.
You can tell he’s legit because he’s a buzzkill who clearly makes money. This is why I don’t go to Vegas. Also I don’t count cards.
10:40 A lot of the Roll to Win video craps tables were removed from casinos because there was a lot of dice sliding going on and only one dealer at the table.
so interesting. i'm surprised by the difference between the low and high scores. almost nothing in the middle

I was waiting for the Casino scene to show up...I regret nothing
card counting is best accomplished with teams. someone plays and keeps count. when count is good they signal an accomplice who comes in and bets larger amounts. otherwise if you bet small and then bet big when the count is good they will spot that and ask you to leave.
