I've really appreciated the last two videos with the red base and the different gold pigments over them. It really helped me decide which way to go with my truck build. The ghost is nice but I love the kin gold since it's more of an orange that I'm looking for. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. They've been very helpful to me

I’m loving these gold pigments over the red bases. I want to see the ghost gold over a black vs a darker green base. I think the darker green would be the perfect combination.

You should do a 2 color fade on the hole fender with pearl
I have a lowrider bike I built, n powder coated Blue madness by prismatic powders. It's beautiful. What makes it pop is that it has a rainbow metallic, rainbow pearl. In the sunlight it doesn't sit still. It's an amazing color. Maybe you can do black base, blue base, w rainbow metallic or pearls.
What type of oven did you use to powder coat the bike? I'm assuming that it's a huge oven.
Yessir. I was a coater for 15 years. My old boss was cool with me doin my projects on the side. I wish I can afford to get me a little set up.

I like the first one best. But the second fender is nice and subtle.
I agree! The kin gold feels like a custom color you created, while the ghost gold feels like a factory color for the sport version of a car. Still, both are nice! 👌🏻
Have you ever done two different pigments on top of base coat?
I'd love to see the Apple Red base with kin gold and nokon blue as pigments mixed in together in the clear coat.

Kin Gold is the one I like. It has more gold and orange.
I like the kin gold more because it changes color mora than the ghost gold

I got one for ya to try bro. Try mixing 2 Pearl's together over a black base. I was curious to see how a sensei red mixed with a ghost blue would come out?? Maybe a 1/3 sensei red to 2/3 ghost blue?

That blue is really close to a 1968 Plymouth QQ1 blue, a 1yrs only color. in 1969 the color changed to Br and it was not quite the same.

Recently I saw a video of somebody adding clear coat on to primer gray. So they primer the car and then just spray the clear coat. Came out looking good. After watching this now I’m wondering, prime + clear coat with some sort of flakes?

The only thing I don't like about this channel is that you don't keep your work!!! Why don't you get some old panels from panel shops instead of sanding back the same panels, or at least get some small pieces you can paint at the same time to hang on the wall. Then you can label them with what bases and pigments you used. It would make a good backdrop for your videos.
