I just finished watching all your episodes and I am so glad that RUclips suggested your channel to me. I love your vibe and admire your editing skills. This is next level podcast watching! 🤩 Also a big applause to your boyfriend, who filmed your Rhinebeck experience so very well. It was like walking around together with you. ☺️ And lastly I have to say that I am thankful you started this channel. You‘ve come so far in just almost 2 years of knitting. You inspire us to just ‚go ahead and dive on in‘. 🤗 Greetings from Germany. ~ Kat
Idea: you could wear last year’s red dress for Thanksgiving, then the new one for Christmas…and start that kind of pattern so you don’t wear the same dress to two events right in a row!
Hi!! I don’t know if you’ll read this, but I’m usually the one reading in all the suggestions! I have a trick I use when I’m trying to finish something tedious (like a certain double knit button band) I’m working on an icord bind off of my Stephen West MKAL and it is slow moving… to make me feel accomplished, I put a stitch marker a few inches ahead of where I am. When I get there I either take a break (or move the marker a head another few inches because I actually feel like I’m making progress!) I feel like it makes it move along faster and I enjoy it much more! I hope that makes sense! And maybe it will help you!❤
Omg I’ve been thinking so much about that Artemisia sweater ever since you shared your original plans for test knitting it. I never thought I’d like boucle yarn, but it looks absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see it all done!
One of my favorite parts of Saturday. This is one of the best podcasts on RUclips! Now off to see all the amazing things you’ve knitted. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
The skirt looks fabulous on you and I'd love to see it with black boots and your black leather jacket for Fall. I totally love the boucle sweatshirt for both the color and the cuddliness. Its what i think of as a sweater guaranteed to get you hugs. Congrats on another great podcast!
KnitPicks has a new boucle--I haven't tried it, but they have a spectacular bright pink! Also, I got my husband the hooked cable needle at your recommendation and he LOVES it!
Glad you had a positive experience with the boucle - your process notes have been helpful. You have me reaching outside my comfort zone to try boucle and a knitted skirt now! Lovely ❤
Hi, I've been wondering how many years and projects it takes before someone is no longer considered a beginner knitter. I’ve had a hard time thinking of myself as an intermediate knitter. But then, when I consider my skills, I realise there’s no way a beginner would typically be able to do all that. I also think you have a lot of skill, so you’re not a beginner knitter, but maybe a newer knitter. You still remember what it's like to start. I also think (sorry if I’m being presumptuous all the time) that you are a courageous and fearless knitter.
Hedgehog Fibres sells alpaca bouclé yarn and they have a sensational catalogue of vibrant colours (variegated and tonal) 🌈 Best of luck with the WAK kit. I have a very low opinion of them because their sizing is so limited (the Lovely Sweater maxes out at a 50" bust for the XL, and you can tell in the photo it's meant to have a LOT of positive ease, meaning it only works for people with a much smaller bust than 50"). Also, I have friends who have bought WAK kits and run out of yarn, even when making the smallest size.
I'll have to look into the Hedgehog Fibres boucle! Thank you for the suggestion! I had only noticed the lack in size range after it was pointed out to me, so thank you--and it will be my first point of feedback. I'm definitely curious to see how the kit works out and perhaps another voice urging them to incorporate more sizes would be helpful! I always appreciate your insight, Whitney! Thank you!
Looooveee the boucle sweater. I just saw Banana Republic is selling a super similar boucle sweater this year. I think one in yellow or a coral pink would look so fantastic
Beautiful work! I had a flash of inspiration yesterday as I watched Creabea podcast. She revealed a new colorwork design. The design is an uncomplicated geometric pattern. Mi would like to do this using Bouclé yarn for the colorwork.
Hey Nora! Once again, you have piqued my interest in finally maybe trying to knit with boucle yarn. Maybe this sweater could be a knit-a-long at some point. I especially love the idea of making it in fun colors with a different color for the ribbing!
Though it would be super cute that you and Ossie have a matching sweater i really would not recommend you do that due to Ossie nails possibly getting stuck in the strands of the booclay yarn and it causing some issues when an itch may occur for little Ossie
I never even thought about her nails getting caught but you’re so right!! Perhaps hers should have the boucle just on the collar!! We could reverse match!!
Oh Nora, I laughed out loud when Captain Von Trapp showed up with Bloom and Grow! You are a clever one and so talented!
I love so much that y’all caught that! 💛

Those knitted graphics are so cuuuuttteee 💖💖

I am the biggest fan of boucle since working on this sweater! It’s crazy how texture can change everything!!

Thank you so so much 🥰
I think you were right on the money with choosing these dark brown vs black yarns to make your garments lately. The color is so flattering on you! 👏🏾
Thank you so much 🥰 I’m loving it too!!
Oh my goodness the Artemesia sweater is beautiful! I’m going to be putting it on my never ending list ☺️
Great podcast Nora. You are so professional in your delivery. Love your bouclé sweater… keep on knitting 😂 see you next t week 😘
That skirt is so good, congratulations. AND, I love, love, love that Artemisia sweater, really lovely. I think I want one.

Thank you thank you thank you!! It is begging to be paired with a leather jacket too, isn’t it!! 💛
Don't you have leftover boucle from the boulevard bag? This sweater would look fantastic in that pink 🤩
I do!!! I wish it was enough for this because that was my exact thought!
Love, love, love your blouse! Love my quiet time with Nora! Edit to say dress! Love your dress!
Thank you so much!!!
Purl Soho Fiddlehead is a beautiful boucle-like yarn that comes in a bunch of bright colors. Plus it's on sale now, too.
So good to know!! Thank you!!
KnitPicks has a new boucle--I haven't tried it, but they have a spectacular bright pink! Also, I got my husband the hooked cable needle at your recommendation and he LOVES it!
I have seen that!!! I feel like it’s always out of stock 😅 I’m so happy that it works for him!!
Nora, I celebrate those two inches with you!! Hey, sometimes that's what we need to do, and progress is progress!
Love your knit skirt and the we are knitters kit. Thank you for the inspiration ❤

I immediately started singing when I heard Bloom and Grow, then I looked up from my knitting to Captain Von Trapp. 😂
Glad we’re all on the same page 😂
Do you watch the video of your pre-blocking modeling to match the post-blocking?! It’s all so clever and fun-just like you!! ❤
Sewrella just brought out a new bloucle yarn, stunning colors
DO nought knit on straight needles

ITO do a really nice boucle that comes in hot pink (actually more than one shade of..)
I just started knitting the same sweater last week. I am using a light wool in Dark pink with light pink trim. Small world.
I love the kremke bouclé!
I LOVE your metallic dress!!
I always love how we are only one month apart on our knitting ‘anniversary’ 😂😂😂 I started end of november 2022 with knitting my first sweater
Ooooh I love that sweater from we are knitters 😍. I bought some boucle to knit the sweater when the pattern is released 😊😊
Love the spooky vibe😊. I want to try the Boucle yarn. It looks so soft and squishy.

I had to go check it out and you are right!! There is a tester version in a sherbert color scheme and it is so beautiful!!
Oh that fluffy comfy i want it!!!

I would love to know if you have a favorite method of changing colors when you are knitting stripes!
You just reminded me I never filmed my tutorial 😅 I’ll add it to the list!!
@@akaNoraKnits I'd love to see it!
Just thought I'd tell you the chapters are from last week's video 😊
I think she means time stamps
Thank you so much for catching that!!
I just started watching your videos the other day and my 6-year-old wants to know why I keep singing the weird Nora knits song
Hahahah it lives rent-free in my brain as well 😅
I was surprised to see that we are knitters is not very inclusive. Made me sad
