Thank you Hatty for this Caitlin Hunter's designs introduction. She has such a lovely paterns. I finished last week her Nordic Bloom vest which came out so well. Beautiful, navy blue vest with white flowers. 😊

I 100% agree with you!! I love Caitlin Hunter designs!! I’ve made 4 Alpine Bloom hats in different weight yarns, with and without brim, with and without mohair, using different yarn brands in my stash and they ALL turn out beautifully!!! I plan to knit both the alpine tee and pullover also…just as soon as I stop my obsession with playing with other yarn combinations for another alpine hat!!! 😂

I love Caitlin Hunter patterns! I just finished test knitting the Winter Albina and it's easily one of my favourite knits. I also test knit Talkeetna last year, and have made Soldotna, Zweig (one of my favourite paterns!), Ingalls, and Guthrie sweaters, and her hat patterns Kennecott, Cardamom Coffee, and Kobuk. Currently working on a Halibut sweater for my husband!

I have liked many of her patterns in the past but the halibut sweater definitely got me looking at her designs again. I love them so much it’s hard to choose which one to try. The Stromboli is really speaking to me because I’m already doing a stranded project right now. But really so hard to choose.

LOVED this video!!! I am a big Caitlin Hunter fan too. I have the easy V sweater, the Virgil Tee, the wellerman shawl, the Halu sweater and the Tegna tee and the Navelli all on my knit list for this year and I'm pretty sure I already have all my yarn ready to go for those projects too. Wellerman was the first pattern I bought from her but I quickly found how drawn to her designs I am. They're so lovely and beautiful. I would love to see an update on your easy V when you get it done! Have a wonderful week :)

I’ve knit the Stromboli by Caitlin Hunter and i love it. I did have to make modifications but only because i used a different yarn and my row gauge was off. I have also knitted the Birkin twice now. However, i did not like the yoke on my first one because the sweater lifts up when i lift up my arms. I am almost done with my 2nd Birkin, having omitted some of the yoke pattern. I won’t know the fit yet until i properly block it. Thank you for the video. Caitlin’s designs are wonderful. 😊

One of the first sweaters I knit was the Sipila. Got lots of wear out of that and loved it but have lost weight and it’s just too big. Also made the summer blooms tee and love that as well. Planning on making a few more of hers, including the Stromboli. I grew up without a lot of money and in RI-fishing was a way that we got our protein/food. It’s important to many people and I appreciate the halibut sweater but wouldn’t make it for myself. Maybe the cowl! Thanks for the highlight and I enjoyed your video (new subscriber).
