Absolutely right about CDG being one of the most complicated airports ever. We traveled with a little baby and it was a nightmare navigating the terminals and going through security. We made it on the flight with 15 minutes to spare. Next time we'll arrive 4 hours early! Also great video... I miss traveling for work/pleasure and watching your channel reminds me of the "old days"
I've actually been on that plane! Brings back so many memories! It smelled so new when I got on it, I flew business class and it was amazing , private transfers from plane to terminal, brilliant service from Swiss! I like the long vlog, and yes I agree the whole terminal did look creepy! I like the filming it's so good and detailed

Planes are my favorite way to travel. I’m flying to Los Angeles for my Christmas break in two weeks or so if I remember correctly. Your video is great btw. I’m smashing a huge thumbs up for this.
I love the long trip reports, most of us come here because we want to feel like we're traveling too, and seeing and hearing all the small details is what truly engrosses us in the scene. Nobody would watch these videos otherwise!
Great video mate! I do like travelling, when I was living in the UK, I used to travel around the UK and Continental Europe, my favourite country being Deutschland. I've even gone to Austria before. Now that I'm home (I'm from Penang, Malaysia), I don't do it as often, so trip reports are my source of 'travelling' to other places. I've actually never thought about doing it since my channel is focused mainly on cars/tech, but when me and my parents travelled on SQ's Business Class to the UK last year for my graduation, I figured I would do a trip report of my own (I call them Flight Report). It was an amazing experience and since then I've been hooked on making my own reports and watching others too. By far I would say you have the best videos out there on this category, and I look forward to new trip reports from you guys every Wednesday and Friday (and not to mention the other videos on other days as well)!

I'm always in a hurry and therefore I don't have enough time to watch a 23 minutes long video until the end. However do what you like the most. It is your channel. Do or film whatever you are up to. It doesn't matter if it's a long or short video. If you are happy we all are happy ;)
I also like the longer videos, but for those who like the shorter versions (or when we are in a hurry), maybe links in the description to shortcut to the most important parts of the video could be a solution.

A similar thing happened to me last year. I live in Portland, Oregon but my family is Indian. While visiting India last year, my connection back home was from Kochi-Dubai-Seattle-Portland on Emirates like every year. After landing at DXB, I went onto Flightradar24 and saw that the 777 I arrived in from Kochi was the same one that was taking me to Seattle! And watching this trip report reminded me of this funny coincidence that I had similarly experienced last year! Thanks for the awesome video!

1:31 Weirdest and most complicated airport indeed. My experience at CDG? I took a train from somewhere downtown Paris that goes straight to the airport. Right after we arrive at the airport, there are tall glass doors that require the MRT/train card for you to tap to enter. It didn't work. The emergency intercom beside those doors didn't work either, so we couldn't get help from the airport authorities.. What we and other fellow travellers did was to lift our luggage through the glass doors/barriers just to get into the airport. It was such a funny yet frustrating experience.
This long tripreport is quite cool to watch and uploading this kind is fine once in a while but having some short tripreports would be great too. Anyways, thanks for this tripreport and great editing and effort put into it!

Very nice vid! I will be doing the exact same flight plan in infinite flight with their brand new A220-300 although it’s not the A220-100 they do have the Swiss livery and it looks very similar to the A220-100!
(13:43) Wow. That's interesting. Signs at the airport that basically directed you to go backwards into the boarding gate in departures instead of continuing on into arrivals because you were boarding the same plane. The departures being on an upper floor and arrivals being in a lower for reminded me of Perth Airport terminal 1 where the same was done.
I love this style, all the details added with the whole pre-departure journey such as the hotel, bus, breakfast just makes you feel so much more immersed in the whole travel experience. Maybe not all reports have to be this long (probably for uneventful frequently-travelled straight-forward flights). In general, the details just add up to a more immersive viewing experience. Cheers! :D... Btw, the highlight of the trip has to be the croissants.
The last time I fly from Paris CDG, I nearly missed my flight. This due to the immigration passport control officers talking with his friend non stop about football. Everyone was just so frustrated and roll their eyes. The queue line are so long. By the time passing the passport control, we need to run like USAIN Bolt to the furthest gate for my Etihad flight. Crazy. Anyway nice trip report though. Like the Swiss livery and the 2-3 seating configuration.
I love that you were on the same plane and there was a special procedure in place so you didn't have to walk back on yourself. I flew Lufthansa MAD-FRA-DUB and in Frankfurt we were given a remote stand and I had to take the bus then had to walk back on myself and when I got to the gate, realised it was a bus transfer to the plane and it was the same crew, same aircraft and they recognised me as well and moved me to an Exit row A321 and gave me a meal instead of just a snack of a sandwich.. nice touch at christmas .. they said leftover second option form MAD flight....

2:25 Woah, these trains sound a bit dangerous... :D And I've never been in CDG, but the airport doesn't look that awesome, esp. in comparison to LHR or FRA.
Just a thought (four years later lol) but ZRH and MUC are both much better than FRA in my honest opinion, because FRA can be a bit of a dark and dingy maze in a few places, and it takes absolute ages to get from one gate to the other. ZRH is unparalleled in Europe, actually... just so elegant, efficient, lovely staff, clean... expensive, as one would expect, but still! My other European favourite after those two is actually DUB Terminal 2 - new, not as many frills but super easy to connect through, and great apron views.

I liked the camera quality and the shadow behind most texts. Maybe you should do it just a few minutes shorter. Maybe not include all those super little details. Just 2-3 minutes shorter should be fine. Thanks again! #1 Fan
This was the right length really. Broad coverage of the trip to and the overall airport terminals is helpful. It's when some videos show long stretches of the flight that time is wasted. Just my opinion. Commentary and observations about an airport is good.
Honestly, I think any trip report should include pertinent comments about the airline personnel you encounter including Check-In, Gate and Flight Attendants, and, also, including security at the airport. In my opinion, those are all part of the experience...

Terminal 1 is old, but Terminal 2 ABCDEFGH, are more modern and better
Erisiu but terminal 2 is so hard to navigate, especially when connecting and when you’re tired as heck
Just a thought (four years later lol) but ZRH and MUC are both much better than FRA in my honest opinion, because FRA can be a bit of a dark and dingy maze in a few places, and it takes absolute ages to get from one gate to the other. ZRH is unparalleled in Europe, actually... just so elegant, efficient, lovely staff, clean... expensive, as one would expect, but still! My other European favourite after those two is actually DUB Terminal 2 - new, not as many frills but super easy to connect through, and great apron views.

I liked the camera quality and the shadow behind most texts. Maybe you should do it just a few minutes shorter. Maybe not include all those super little details. Just 2-3 minutes shorter should be fine.

This was the right length really. Broad coverage of the trip to and the overall airport terminals is helpful. It's when some videos show long stretches of the flight that time is wasted. Just my opinion. Commentary and observations about an airport is good.

Honestly, I think any trip report should include pertinent comments about the airline personnel you encounter including Check-In, Gate and Flight Attendants, and, also, including security at the airport.
In my opinion, those are all part of the experience...
