when hearing the intro music is ending and watching other passenger is running front of the camera, I think he was not running when filming, but he was flying 😂
Many of these airlines from niche island nations I just have a connotation for slick, modern, tropical vibe - and Air Mauritius definitely proves this stereotype worthy
Indeed it does. Intra island flights in the western polynesian proved this to me. Rarotonga, the 3rd st maarten had a certain vibe. The orchids, pomegrante, papaya and banana growing free.
So weird when you hear Norwegians talking about cramped leg space in the background of a video set in Paris, on a plane going to Mauritius. Thanks for another great report btw.
A long time ago, I flew on an Air Mauritius Boing 767 (from Mauritius to Madagascar with a stop in Seychelles), the captain on the PA said the plane was just 2 days old. Also the Airport wasn't as good as it is now. I also remember seeing their Boing 747 SP. Anyway that was my short trip down memory lane.
I had a same flight 5 months before it was recorded when Mauritius was slighlty open during pandemic. I saw same rushing passengers in CDG and huge crowds during border controls due to limited staff. Luckilly I had 7 hours layover so I had enough time and I've even tried newly open Air France business lounge for 50 euro. When it comes to Air Mauritius I had medicore experience with them. Sure, it was nice to get amenity kit (I have it till now as a souvenir :D) but I had there one of the worst meal in the sky. Moreover selection of movies was poor, I can see from Felix video it was better few months after. Real adventure was in Port Louis airport. There was one border control for citizens and only 2 gates for others. Remember - it was pandemic, you had to provide like 10 different documents, confirmations, certificates and do covid test onsite. We were lucky to be the first big aircraft this day because just after that another Air Mauritius A350 from London has arrived and then Emirates A380 and Edelweiss A330 :D Even tough it took me 1,5 hours (!) to get out from the airport. I had even additional security control with my luck :D
Tried air raro (rarotonga) last year november. Now i have crossed both Saabs of my list. Rarotonga-Aitutaki is 15 minutes with a cup of coffee... But as some say: the vibe is clear. A flower reef on the head and dress with a floral pattern. Real polynesian.
I believe you're the lucky one coz the meal looked A-class contrary to the trash they've been used to serving these days, especially when you outbound Mtius
I found the route map strange because it overflew Sudan, which is basically a no-fly zone now due to civil war, but then I saw that the video was from over a year ago, when it was still safe. Sudan, Libya, Yemen, North Korea, Ukraine and a large Russian exclusion zone around it, the whole of Russia and Belarus for airlines from many countries, and for most others, also Syria. It's becoming hard to fly in today's world.
Can you do a trip report from Algiers to montreal with air algerie non stop flight plzz ive been waiting this for a long long time love you trip report❤
4:20 Necessaire/amenity kit in Economy is almost a non-existent item nowadays, Air Mauritius should be praise for it. 9:10 I don't get why food companies call this little dry snacks Pretzels! This is laughable, not to mention the word ridiculous. 13:19 Full cold breakfast option was charmless and inappropriate imho, not to talk to friends later about. Three different types of bread? Everything too dry and unappetizing! A good report as always.
CDG was a new age airport when first built, but after addition's it an airport to avoid at all cost to connect though. AMS or FRA yes. Plus you won't get a French socialist strike with 12 hours notice if that.
In turkish airlines they warm the rolls in toster oven and they are wheat rolls and soo good Is better for them Baking them Daily and heating on airplane toaster oven than iust cold in bags Very poor breakfast for 11 hour flights Should be some eggs and turkey or mushrooms Is very long flight guys
A little but beautiful country located off the southern coast of motherland africa, has a national airline and yet my country Nigeria which boasts of being the giant of Africa has none whatsoever. I am so ashamed of my country and myself 😢 😳.
Mauritius is a weird country. Doesn't know whether to adopt English or French as their official language. Unlike other countries where both languages are official (Canada and Cameroon), it isn't big enough for two separate language identities to form
Canada also a weird county lol. French is only spoken in Quebec alone (alongside less than 1,000 native speakers scattered across Canada) but the government make the language mandatory nationwide. Weird
The worst airlines. They love to delay or cancel or reschedule the flight. They cancelled and rescheduled all my trip and no compensation. even the customer service counter staffs were rude. A They not even bother to provide accomodations for you until your next flight. I been stranded another 4 days unwanted in Mauritius until the next flight out. Pathetic airlines.
Air Mauritius is one of the worst airlines. Poor service, crew upgrading their friends to Business, they don’t care about customers. Normal for government own airline 👎
This is one of the first times I've seen someone vlog smoothly at the same time as sprint through an airport
I think he has an anti-shake stabilized camera gimbal. It sure is helpful in those situations.

I flew on one of their 747SP's in 1988, hopefully will take a flight on their A330 NEO and A350 soon.
This has clearly become my favourite tripreport of the A350
U know it's a good day when Simply Aviation uploaded a new flight review
I Remember taking this route in 2014 and 2016, with Air Mauritius' A350 it's great! By far my favorite airbus, and the memories 😁✈
It didn't have a350 back then
They only had A340 doing this route back then
Flew the same route last November. The smoothest flight i have ever been on.
Fantastic review as always. Keep up the great work guys! :)
The cabin looks soo clean!
Great flight. That sprinting moment make me feels exhausted, even though I'm just seating.
I Havent Experinence Air Mauritius Yet,I Love A350.Great Trip Report

I flew this exact route last march in business class. It was really awesome
I travelled london- Mauritius , aircraft 330-900 neo, 2+4+2 layout. very generous knee-room. good service + good food. Will use AM again

0:30 LOVE FELIX!! ❤❤
Thank u bro...smh. especially because u are going to Mauritius. Means a lot
Excellent trip report Felix!😸
This makes me want to take a trip to Mauritius! Air Mauritius flies direct from Perth on the A330neo, hopefully it's just as good as the A350.
Yeah! I live in Perth and see that flight going out all the time.
A330-900 (neo) is almost as good as the A350 if not the same, however their A330-200 is disappointing.
great video,
You are fast , I dislike CDG for connections for the same reason
Cheers
Thank you for showcasing and reviewing Air Mauritius 🇲🇺 A decent service I think. 😊
Mauritian ppl here 🇲🇺❤️
GSQD❤ was my first ever B77W on my way back from my very first trip to USA back in September 2005
The sunset was beautiful
Meals so delicious 😋

Hello from Mauritius 🇲🇺
Belle vidéo. Avez-vous le vol retour ?
Hope they start flying an A350 on their BOM to Mauritius 🇲🇺 route
You saved my day
The weather looks like been in Glasgow .
We ain't gonna talk about how fast that man ran to catch his connection at such a large airport
Have one question what's the function of the black thing in the seats just down the ife
what's the function of nfc terminal below the screen?
It never fails, your plane is late and your connecting gate is on the other side of the airport.
I love Mauritius so much.
I wanna buy the whole island.
😂😂😂 question is, can you??
@@willankhatter 🇺🇸
Wow, pretty good.
Simply Aviation
Can you please a trip report to Kinshasa 😊
Zero 🥗
It happened to be 1 time at CDG with 1-2h of connection + arrived late at CDG 30mins late, but we departed from CDG 50mins late

5:35 Hey look, Dude Perfect
is that a contactless card payment thing under the entertainment system?
I am surprised with the breakfast meal. Usually you used to have more adequate meal than just a piece of cold bread and croissant 🤦🏻♂️
5:35 they have Dude Perfect on Air Mauritius?
Hello i hadj a question : i would also like to become a trip reporter ans have m'y Channel but how do WE do it ? Can you explique me pls thanks
What's the name of the track used in your intro?

Air mauritius is good in price when it come 👌 i tell which is cheap ticket.

I just can not figured out how people have money to travel with this kind of Plane. - Milovan, from Nikshic, Montenegro.

Ill have you know that those pretzels are delicious, with the delicious Sour cream and chive.
@@alinadobrica9230 This "thing" airlines serve as "pretzels" are merely dry snacks. This is the Pretzel: ruclips.net/video/waZGCdnawHY/видео.html

Yo Felix, nice report, why do you have to rush and not just walk (the flight will wait for passengers)

CDG looks brutal to connect in
"Neke ptice nikad ne polete". --....
While I agree that the meal service is amazing, I always wonder who has room for a cold bread roll and cheese AFTER chicken with potatoes and spinach.
In France you eat the bread with your main course, than the cheese, than dessert
10:00 to 10:05 - so fuckin’ yummy…
Disappointing breakfast, you basically got 3 pieces of bread.

god I hate these vids where there's no voice over
